    Veggie pizza
    Michelle R.

Ambiance: It definitely has that lodge-feel. We dined at the bar and it has more interesting decorations than the restaurant. Food: I had the vegetarian pizza, and my husband had the rice and beans bowl with shredded chicken. I'd give the vegetarian pizza 3 stars because it could use more sauce and the veggies more cooked. My husband enjoyed the rice and beans. He said, he'll give it 4 stars. Service. Our server was great! He was super nice and funny.

We loved this place! Service was great, beer was great, food was great. I did a flight and my favorites were the crowd pleaser IPA and the chocolate stout. We had the fish tacos for dinner-amazing! The beans and rice that came with them were so tasty. We sat in the bar area, very laid back.

    Cheeseburger and battered fries

Visiting with friends who suggested Three Creeks Brewing. Usually check Yelp but these folks know their food. The fish and chips (tots) was very tasty but my favorite part of the meal was the tartar sauce. Yeah really. It was so much like an ancient cafeteria chain's version that I absolutely loved, I couldn't believe it. Wonderful. My wife chose a bowl of pozole and a giant pretzel. Lots of mustard of course. Every bite was great. Our friends had fish tacos, black beans and rice and a basic cheeseburger. The taco plate was way too much to eat in a very good way. She took part home. The cheeseburger was also large with battered fries. I got one and it was delicious. We each chose a drink and most were brewed by 3CB. They don't just serve food by the way. Excellent versions of many beer varieties. Our server checked in just the right amount to be helpful. The inside of the restaurant was stylish in a laidback kind of way. Just what you would expect in Sisters OR. Definitely on my recommendation list if you're visiting the area.

Cool looking place and want very busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Service was friendly and quick. Ordered a couple beers, pretzel appetizer was good. The Chicken Potato pita was just ok, kind of dull in flavor. The Cobb salad was good. Overall was just ok, food wasn't anything special, but beer was good

Pathetic $16 salad. This was all the chicken in it.

Great food! The bluecheese burger & kids chicken strips were very delicious. Good portions. I recommend this place even to the picky eaters!

Food is okay. Service is good, can be noisy but that's to be expected. Will go back since I have only been there once.

The seating is great, and staff are really friendly, but what stands out is the authentic Nepalese cuisine. I'd recommend: Kids chicken fried rice, paired with the chicken chilli- neither of these are spicy and have a great deal of flavor / it's a fusion of Indian and Chinese food. The Himalayan drunken noodles - this is an Indo-Chinese take on pad-see-ew - there are very subtle hints of Indian curry flavor in them The pork and chicken momos - these are like dumplings, and come with a nice tomato/garlic dipping sauce If you choose to dine in, there are plenty of tables in a spacious room and also outdoor seating. If you're the adventurous type of eater, give this a try / you won't be disappointed!

My husband doesn't like spiced foods, but they had a hamburger on the menu so we gave it a try. They are also a taphouse with local beers and ciders. It was cutely decorated with Nepal art and plenty of tables inside along with bar seating and a very cute outdoorseating area. We tried a berry cider, and my husband ordered the Himalayan hamburger. The hamburger had a meatloaf quality to it with a heavy onion flavor. I had a bite and I liked the flavor, and the fries were good with just a hint of spice. I ordered the chicken curry, and it was ok. I actually like a lot of spice, but this was just a basic curry. I might have been better off ordering the momo platter or interesting sounding onion rings called yeti strings. Service was excellent. I believe the owner talked to us after we seated ourselves and was very pleasant. We ordered at the counter at the bar for drinks and food, and the waitress brought everything and made sure to check on us to make sure everything tasted OK. I wouldn't order the curry again, but I would definitely be interested in ordering the momos or an ap and a drink if in the area again!

After eight years, Crux is overdue for a review update. Biggest reason is that quite a few years…read moreago they expanded the place significantly, opening up the large room to the right of the bar that opens into the outdoor area. That room is equipped with restrooms, relieving one of my major complaints about a lack of facilities, as well as a second serving station complete with taps. Since then, Crux has significantly changed the outdoor area as well although I'm not certain it's an upgrade. It's a little too landscaped and way too much like a playground now. Locals have always tended to refer to Crux as 'daycare but with beer.' The last several times I've come here, the second serving station has not been in operation even though it looks to be still fully functional. Meanwhile the line to the bar serving stations is often long, sometimes almost out the door. Not sure why that is, doesn't make sense to have the capacity to more efficiently serve customers but not use it. All that said, the beer is still stellar and they continue to have a wide range of beer choices, the new(ish) large room has plentiful high-top seating (mobility challenged folks will need to venture outside), and the music is kept below ear-splitting volume. You can also sit at the bar itself although the vibe there isn't great - it's not like a neighborhood pub bar. Crux still has a kitchen. I used to order directly from them but have since transitioned to patronizing one of the several food carts outside. Being food carts, they tend to come and go so I'll not go into detail there. That said, the new Alpine Smash burger is fabulous. The other significant change in recent years has been with the location. A dispute with the property owners to the west resulted in the access road that way being closed, requiring Crux patrons to use the road coming from Second/Scott Street (or ride a bike). The west road is now open, maybe because the Jackstraw housing complex over that way is now completed and the road serves their tenants. RIP Spoken Moto.
