We have been to this location multiple times. 3 Dollar wings are always good; some of my favorite. This location is smaller as it is a jr., but the service is good and the food is quick. I like the burgers and the food here but the service has not been good. I've been here 3 times and we've had to wait for more than half hour. Seating is normal and not very crowded between 11:30AM and 1PM. If you have time to waste waiting i would recommend this place. read more

Its a Jr spot so not big but service was good the few times I went. There is a cigar bar in the back with a few variety of cigars in you into that. Only tried the wings which were good ( mild-lemonpepper) was on point, not to big not to small with the right amount of crisp. Also tried the fish tacos a couple times also good. Saw Three Dollar Café Jr. and had to try it, it was pretty good. My fiancé and I split some onion rings, which came with cheese sauce and that was pretty good, although I would prefer honey mustard, none the less they were still good. For my dinner I ordered the blackened grouper sandwich and it was good and huge, it did not fit on the bun (I didn't plan on eating the bun anyway, so not a huge issue).My fiancé ordered the wings and he really liked them. This place is a solid three. Their wings were pretty good although a bit on the dry side. Looked like they had been sitting for a little bit in the window because when I got home there was not any wet sauce on them at all it was all dried up. The mushrooms were good but do yourself A favor and skip the onion rings. The onion rings have zero flavor and the onion in the middle is soggy wet and not very good tasting. This was my first visit and LAST to say the least. Received absolute terrible service from the waitress. It was as if we were an afterthought and it wasn't busy. We waited around extreme lengths of time needing things before she decided to reappear the whole visit. Several times we asked the other waitress for things because ours was nowhere in sight and she told us she would get our waitress instead of helping for even minor things like ranch. Aside from that request it was one refill and the check so we weren't overly needy. The buffalo bleu chicken sandwich had the perfect hotness and crispiness but the chicken had a really foul taste that was noticed by myself and another person I was with who tasted it. It was really off-putting and spoiled my appetite. Instead of offering any alternative or rectifying the situation I was told they never received a complaint about it and pretty much to deal with it. Terrible customer service! At that point I just paid and packed up and left because several fries were burnt and the chili on the chili cheese fries was a ketchup-tasting, sub-par mess as well and I just let those complaints go because the overall experience was horrible. Though nothing was $3 on the menu, the food is mediocre at best and should be $3. We will not be returning! read more

I was very disappointed with Three Dollar Cafe. I was expecting the diverse menu and great beer selection offered by the original version of TDC but it wasn't even close. The lemon pepper wings were very greasy and gave me a stomach ache. The grouper fingers were very tasty, however. The wait staff was very nice. Great place for game night. The wings are amazing, as well as the burgers! The staff is nice, although sometimes it can take a while to get a drink. The multilevel and outdoor seating is great, although sometimes it feels like you're forgotten up there! The multiple televisions are always on the right games, with one major game playing quietly on top of some good music. Very family friendly, and I love it! read more

This was quite possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had in my entire life. Don't get me wrong, there were some positives, but one giant gaping negative that made this a terrible experience. I started out the day with a nice day-date with my girlfriend. Brunch, a movie, then the botanical gardens. On the way home we decided that we were both hungry. Earlier in the year (2013) my girlfriend had won a gift certificate at Trivia so we were going to use it. We came in and sat down. I ordered a beer, which I was disappointed to learn that they do not serve alcohol because they lost their liquor license (should have been clue number 1 of how poorly this place was run). The food was okay, not great, not bad. Both my girlfriend and myself ordered wings. Definitely not the best wings in Atlanta as they claim. Our server was new but quite good at her job and very nice. Another server came out and took our gift certificate and went to the back (where I assumed she was applying it to our bill). A few minutes later some little punk who seemed to be the manager came out and said that they no longer take the gift certificates any longer. They stopped doing Trivia and changed ownership. I proceeded to tell him that there was no expiration date on the gift certificate and it would have been nice to know that before I ordered my food. To which this manager replied that it would have been nice to have seen the gift certificate ahead of time, which he said incredibly condescendingly like I was some how dumb for thinking a restaurant would honor their gift certificates. I stated that the gift certificate had been on the table the entire time in plain view for the server, whom had to see it because she asked another server for help in applying it to my bill. Here is how a good restaurant would have handled it: "Oh I'm sorry, we honor these gift certificates anymore. But please allow me to ____(comp your meal, give you half off, give you a complimentary item from the menu). " The manager brought me a bill for the full amount. I told him one of two things were going to happen. A) I would pay for the bill and neither I nor my girlfriend would ever return to this establishment. or B) He could attempt to retain me as a customer in some way (see methods in parenthetical statement above) and I might actually return. This manager chose option A. As such, my girlfriend nor I will ever return to this establishment. Which is a shame because she works right behind it and we live near by. We could have been a source of continued business, they could have shown a little bit of customer service and won us over, instead they chose to alienate us and make us feel unwelcome. read more

Just a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. When we got there there wasn't hardly anyone there , but after waiting an hour seeing everyone who came after us get there meals the waitress start to notice our frustration l. Telling us twice that she didn't know why it was taking so long. Once the food came the sides were cold. My wife told her she couldn't eat it. The broccoli that came was still raw. After sending it bad an Asian gentlemen who was hard to understand came and told us that the broccoli was cooked. It wasn't. To have a manager come and tell the costomer that they are wrong is asinine. He said the he would remove it but when we got the check just minutes later he had not taken it off the ticket. I came here this past Saturday night to meet up with a date. I walked in there on a drink from my date. It was my birthday as well. The place seems like a nice spot to hang out to have some food and drinks but the cigar smoke was lingering and the smell was mad strong. I ordered some lemon pepper wings($11 for 10 wings)with some blue cheese and they gave me ranch dressing instead. I asked for a blue cheese 3 times and had to wait damn near 20 minutes for it. And they had the audacity to charge me for it as well. Also, my date stiffed me with the two drinks she bought me on my tab along with my wings(She was claiming that she was meeting her homegirl there but I turned around and seen her talking to another man and then left with the man claiming that she was walking her homegirl to her car but I knew that something was going on once I turned around and saw her with the guy. Out driving today and decided to try TDC for lunch. So very glad we did!!! It's a sports bar type of place with lots of TVs, so I imagine it could get a bit noisy but was fine today. We ordered chips and salsa for a starter and because it was 1 pm and I was starving! I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich and my husband got the TDC fish sandwich. Amazing!!! The best steak and cheese sandwich I have ever had was in NYC and I put the TDC's right up there with it!!! It was a great mix of steak, cheese and onions and a roll that was just the right size and didn't overwhelm you with bread. My husband's fish sandwich was huge!!! The fish was enough for at least 2 sandwiches and really perfectly cooked. The batter was light and just the right amount, and the fish was amazingly light and flaky with no fishy taste. The best part, I have leftovers to take home to have another bite of an awesome steak and cheese sandwich. The service was fast and our waiter Michael did a great job. We ordered tea and soda and he was quick with refills and offered to go cups. If you haven't been, you need to check out this place. We will return!!! I come to three dollar cafe every month, sometimes more than twice a month. This place is so good! They have a good selections of beers and drinks! My favorite server is Chris he's very attentive and makes sure I'm doing okay very often and I really appreciate that in a server. Being a server myself I know good customer service when I see it and he's spot on! My favorite things to order is the BURGERS. soooo good and big and juicy!! I like mine medium well and it's perfect that way. Try the Chipotle Burger, it comes with a friend onion and chipotle sauce. It's so delicious! I would insert a picture but I already ate it haha. They have a sports bar in the back of the restaurant and it's pretty spacious. You can smoke back there and it's pretty spacious. Have some lounge areas as well. It's a great place to come with your friends and have a drink. Many TVs if you're looking for a place to watch some sports! Come check it out! read more

My friend and I went here last night around 10pm. First timers. I got the grouper sandwich and she got the BBQ wings. When I say everything was perfect!!! The grouper is HUGE and soooo delicious. We also got the house margaritas for 5.50. Hers was peach, mine was strawberry. Once we tasted it, I was like omg... the bartender has to be in competition with the cook!!! Lol. I have always been a fan of Three Dollar. I used to visit the one in Tucker, but last year I moved to out of state to attend law school. Due to my BF living in Marrietta, we eat at this place every time I'm in town. For the last four visits I've made to Georgia, I have been extremely sick. I've experienced throwing up and continuous diarrhea for at least two days after I arrive. For the longest time, my BF and I attempted to figure out what was causing my illness and finally this past weekend I think we did. Every time I come into town, my BF buys me food from Three Doller because it's my favorite. I only eat the fried grouper tacos and the wings. For my past four visits, Three Dollar has been the first thing I've eaten and soon after I am sick. Unable to pinpoint the cause of my mysterious Georiga ONLY illness, this weekend when I visited I once again ate fish tacos for dinner. It was around 8 pm. By the morning, I had thrown up two times. Additionally, I was badly cramping and couldn't stay out of the bath. I've experienced these same symptoms my last four visits to GA. Each visit, the only commonality was Three Dollar's fried food. I have never experienced these symptoms when I'm home or after I eat anywhere else, only when I eat this location's food. Needless to say, I will not be eating here anymore. I happen to visit this place to for lunch in scout of for catering. I placed my order with a waitress whom seems friendly. She recommended a burger and I selected my choice. After waiting for about 15 minutes she return to say that let me get you some lemonade your food should be out in about 2 minutes it's taking a little long. Noticed that people are enjoying their wings but I ordered before them. At thirty minutes I catch the attention of a passing waitress she noticed I was ready to leave I let her know that I had to leave paid her 2 bucks for the drink. A different waitress asks me what do I have and she return with a messy plate and she asked me does this look right. I said well, do you normally serve dishes in this manner, she replied well normally not. I lifted up the bun and ask where the fries are? The presentation of the plate was so bad I told her to take it back, I'm done. I get up to leave and notice an employee in the back kitchen with a napkin made bib on. I ask for the manager and she was behind the counter repeating "I understand you're good." I let her know that I can not recommend for catering and left. Poor organization and not professional, I do not recommend. Highly disappointed I wasted my time and recanted my recommendations to my associates. Will not return. read more

I have always really enjoyed this place but when my girlfriend turned 21, I'm 22, and we came here two days after her birthday to watch the super bowl and they denied her service because she hadn't gotten a new id yet I was rather disappointed. I am a Buffalo Wings fan. In search of the best wings, I have tried numerous restaurants in Orlando, Charlotte, Dallas, Portland, and Buffalo (Duff's and Anchor Bar). I can honestly say, Three Dollar Cafe has the absolute best hot buffalo wings I have ever tasted. Also, the fries are great too being large steak fries. Their blue cheese dip for celery is also the best I have ever had. This is a MUST for fans of hot wings. I order my wings extra extra crispy. They get it right! Since this restaurant opened a few months ago, my husband and I have done our best to support it. We welcome new restaurants/bars to the area and want them to succeed. The first few times we went, the service left a lot to be desired (I shouldn't have to spell "pinot noir" so the waiter/waitress know what to tell the bar staff; sigh). We assumed that they would go through their growing pains and get better. WRONG. We went back tonight for the last time. The waitress did not know what pinot noir was (what the heck?). We sat upstairs, which seemed a rather significant inconvenience for everyone (the hostess even told us it gets very hot up there, but having never experienced this problem, we insisted that's where we wanted to sit). Later, that very same hostess came with our bill, telling us that our waitress didn't feel like walking upstairs again. My husband ordered the grouper sandwich which looked like it was thrown together by children. The bun was sitting atop the fries (thus making the bun soggy), and the fish was haphazardly thrown on top of the soggy bun. When he asked for mayo, he was given a brand new container, which he had to peel the plastic wrapping off. He said the food tasted bland. I ordered the chicken curry, which comes with a salad. The chicken curry was good (as always) but was oddly topped with a large wilted leaf of something. Maybe basil? I don't know, but it was pathetic looking and offputting. My salad was mostly made up of iceberg lettuce, but oddly interspersed with VERY soggy dark green leaves of some sort. They were not edible and I picked them all out.The waitress was nowhere to be seen when we needed a drink or anything for that matter. It was the waiter at the next table who took care of us. By the way, he seemed fantastic, bounding up the stairs at regular intervals to check on his table, and always pleasant and professional when we told him we needed our waitress again. We will never return to this restaurant. We're all for giving a place a chance, but tonight's dining experience was one of the worst ever. We predict it won't be long before this restaurant goes out of business. read more
