Sports of every kind on all tvs across the whole place. Our server was Personable, friendly and more than adequately took care of our dining needs. We ordered: full order of waffle cheese fries(not pictured) for starters. We got a Grown Up Grill cheese, Chicken Melt Plate w/Waffle Fries and The Catfish Poboy. The food was avergae. We couldn't get past how large the wings were. They looked like they were full of steriods or growth hormones. The ambience was nice. It was clean and the decor was really nice. Bartenders were very nice and quickly served the group I was with. The food was a little overcooked so not the most enjoyable. What really caused this location to get a terrible score is its violations of Cobb county code. The bathroom doors don't lock which is a county code violation. When we pointed this out to the manager he lied to us and said it happened that day. The staff told us it happened over a week ago. Lying to customers will kill your business and violation of county code will shut you down. read more

The vibe is a typical bar and grill. The hostess and server were friendly. They messed up our order twice. I asked for a well done burger. It came out medium. I sent it back, and they brought back a sloppier burger with less jalepenos and a ton of siracha aioli. The first burger was neat and thoughtful. The second was more thrown together--perhaps angrily. The second burger was medium well still too undercooked for my liking. Since the juices ran clear, I ate it but I was disappointed that my preference was not honored. I decided not to run the server ragged sending it back a second time--at least they remade the fries. Didn't try the food this time but we loved the fact that their draught's were absolutely ice cold and served in very chilled pints. Going to stick with 3 stars until we can try the food. Stopped by with some friends for a last minute after church meal on a Sunday with no reservation. It was the perfect location for our group of 6 to gather and watch the game. There were tons of TV's so everyone had a great view. On arrival, we were greeted and quickly seated. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Around the table we tried a variety of things but I opted for the Ribeye Sliders (sliced blackened ribeye, swiss, caramelized onions, dijon horseradish, garlic aioli, and sweet potato fries) which were a 10/10 for me. My boyfriend went with the cheeseburger sliders and fries, and he really enjoyed his food as well. We didn't try any cocktails on this visit but I definitely see us returning in the future. read more

Went to Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux at The Battery for the Super Bowl and had a really good time. We sat at the high-top tables with our group, which was perfect for watching the game and still being able to talk and hang out. The place was completely full during the game, so the energy was great. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, especially considering how busy it was. The food was solid, the burger and wings were both good, and the drinks were well made. It's definitely a cool, lively spot to hang out with friends and watch a game. The only downside was the volume was a little low throughout the game and specially during halftime. We asked if it could be turned up, but they weren't able to. I wanted to bring my mom to The Battery while she was in town and since she loves football, we walked into Walk-On's. Based on the Yelp reviews, we didn't come here for the food, we just came here for the sports vibes. So I wasn't surprised when the salmon and broccoli she ordered wasn't a hit. She ended up sending it back and ordering tacos and fries. Overall, the service was good and they had multiple televisions on with different football games. read more

The service was amazing. We were greeted right away and served just as quickly. It's a nice take on a sports bar with Louisiana style food. I got the salmon and first with a subbed side of salad. The portion was a little smaller then my liking but the grist are amazing. It was the butter salmon but seemed more blackened. If it was less blackened I would've loved it even more but my stomach was full and happy. Me and my friend both got drinks and they were great, gave us a good buzz with flavor. The place is concrete so it's loud, but even when it's full of people I still had plenty of space, so that was good. The food was mediocre sports bar food - average wings, gator bites are fine - whole table agreed that all the food we had was mediocre at best. I've had great experiences at this location before, which is why this visit was so surprising and disappointing. I visited with my sister and niece, and from the start the service was very poor. Our waitress never brought us waters, didn't mention any daily specials, and barely checked on our table. When our food arrived, she dropped it off and walked away without asking if we needed anything. When we asked for things, she acted annoyed and inconvenienced. My sister eventually asked to speak with the manager, who apologized and offered to remove some items from our bill. However, when the check came back, a 20% "large party gratuity" had been added--even though we were only a party of three. When we asked the waitress about it, she claimed it was automatic and said large party gratuity was normally 30%, which didn't make sense because the bill clearly listed a 20% large party gratuity. We asked for the manager again, but another waiter (who wasn't a manager) came to our table asking if we were ready to pay. When the manager finally returned, she explained that the gratuity had been added by mistake after the waitress requested it. Seeing a "large party gratuity" added to the bill for a party of three made the situation feel very questionable and uncomfortable. Since my first two visits here were excellent, I hope management reviews what happened so other guests don't experience the same issue. Long short, we were being scams and the manager was in on it. Shameful! Make sure you scrutinize your bill. I see from other reviews that we weren't the only ones who have frivolous on our bill. read more

Went to Walk-Ons with 2 companions for a Fat Tuesday experience. There was a live 3 piece band playing that definitely gave Nola Vibes and set the atmosphere. The food however was incredibly MID, corporate recipe food. Our meal began with the alligator. For $22 my expectations were far higher than what was received. Though seasoned well, the bits of alligator served were tough and with the exception of 4-5 pieces, the pieces were mostly scraps not whole pieces. My partner had the gumbo and it was hands down the worst attempt at gumbo I have ever sampled. It was this dish that sealed the "corporate recipe" sentiment. Seasonless with a rue that may have been concocted with browning sauce. Nothing about the gumbo said New Orleans. I had the Jalepeno Jack burger and it was nothing special. My other companion had some chicken tenders... she did not rave about them. I had a spicy mango margarita. Don't expect a kick out of that. The only spice was a he tajin put on the rim of the glass. 2/10 do not recommend. Not sure how this places stays open. read more

this is the place to be during baseball season. But it's not baseball season it's January. I just paid nine dollars for a draft Miller light. That's stadium prices ridiculous that they should charge that much. Then they closed early during football playoffs on a Sunday night granted that Sunday night, but people are there to watch football and you're closing early. Our experience was one in a million! Great atmosphere great food! Even though it was a busy night, we were seated almost instantly! The Manager, Grant, jumped right in clearing the only table available and pre warned us that it may take a moment as our server was just triple sat. No later than 2 minutes later, we were greeted by Terrance. He was absolutely amazing! I could see he was under pressure but he hid it well!
