I have owed these guys a review for over a year now. We own a number of businesses that they have serviced with thier security cameras. One of those locations is a high end luxury salon with clientele that often remove expensive jewelry during thier services. The camera system and DVR that they recommended for our particular needs has saved us untold amounts of money. Not only on theft prevention, employee checks and balances, but also on customer complaints. We have used thier systems for so many things it's almost impossible to list. To say that thier cameras are a integral part of our day to day operations is an understatement. We have filed police reports and were able to identify vehicles license plates involved in crimes in the area. We have been able to tell numerous clients where they put thier jewelry ( even at one point able to tell a client she dropped her wedding ring outside the car in the parking lot, and we went out and recovered it for her until she returned to claim it) We have been able to resolve customer complaints by showing video of what actually happened. Our employees are so used to the high level of security provided they leave thier tips in their drawers of our breakroom with no fear of theft as they know we can see who takes anything. We have virtually eliminated all employee theft of product as we can zoom in with such detail in real time we can see a penny picked up of the ground. We have no trust issues with service providers and management in the store as we can show the providers exactly what the customers did with thier tips and if they left tips or not. We have no issues with non clientele parking in our store spots as we can remotely see and tow cars that are not our clients 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world. We have even used the cameras to notice quality control issues with providers and use them as training opportunities to correct and educate. The service level is top notch and they have always been out right away when ever we needed to make any camera adjustments or add equipment. When we call for support and especially during set up they have been absolutely fabulous and patient to help us through every issue expertly and efficiently. Thank you guys. UPDATE ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2021: This company is illegally unlicensed! They demanded and received a $4,000 deposit...the State of CA limits deposits to 50% of the job or $1,000 whichever is greater. So when Jacobs still wouldn't return my deposit, without even any partial rationalization, I went to file a complaint with the California State Licensing Board. Guess what? Three Factor Security has no license. David Jacobs has no license. Alexander Jacobs, his son, has no license. There is no license. The State says: "Many unlicensed contractors are unaware that operating without a license in California is a misdemeanor that can result in jail terms of up to 6 months and fines that can run upwards of $15,000." Is Jacobs unaware, or does he just not give a damn because we consumers seem too dumb to check? Whatever, it's more reasons to beware of this illegal and disreputable company. This company is not only incompetent, what's worse, they are also dishonest. I trusted the positive reviews here, most of which I see now after looking more carefully, were fraudulent and planted. I signed a contract for a camera installation in my lovely Spanish duplex, and they promised installation in two to three weeks. After literally months and months of waiting, during most of which they didn't respond to messages, they finally showed up to do the job, but quickly admitted they didn't have either the tools or the experience to open the holes they needed for the installation. So they left. The two young guys who represented that they were the owners actually work for an older guy named David Jacobs who owns the business. Jacobs admitted they didn't know how to do an installation in plaster and stucco, but instead of just bowing out of the contract he asked me to hire a plaster subcontractor to do all the construction work...open holes for them and patch and texture the holes later, then paint and try to cover everything up. After they couldn't coordinate with any plaster company and admitted they were incapable of honoring the contract, they kept my $4,000 deposit! Yes, you heard me right. They promised an install in two to three weeks. They took literally months to admit they didn't know how to do it. They canceled the contract. Then Jacobs refused to give me my money back. Incredible. Now I'm going to have to sue them in small claims court, and although I'll likely recover my deposit with a lot of effort and a court appearance, i'll never recover the months and months and months of wasted time and effort. Heed my warning, protect yourself...do not hire this company. read more

Our building had used another company to initially install the camera system, but we had issues already within only a few years. That company was dishonest and unreliable. They had even scratched off the model numbers to prevent repairs by others. The work was professionally done and cameras show all exterior areas. Company was able to solve technical problems. My ring door bells were not working and had no internet connection for front door. Company installed wifi nest which allowed Ring front door bell to work. I have problems with loosing internet connection and not being able to connect to wifi.
