Family was visiting Gatlinburg and Three Jimmy's was near by and the reviews looked ok. We went there for Sunday lunch and it was not very busy. Nice decor and setting. Service was good but the meals were slow to be served. Utensils were cheap and light weight. Cheap paper towels and no napkins. All six of us agreed the food was ok but nothing special. Some of my family said their meal was not hot and lacked flavor. My brisket sandwich was not hot and tasted just ok. Prices were on the high side (averaging $20 including soft drinks) but it is Gatlinburg. I won't eat there again. read more

long review ahead - We found this place on several searches for dog friendly places to eat. And they are , sort of. Upon arrival I went in to get a seat (we've never been and didn't know there was a separate entrance for the patio for dogs) and while I was in getting a table , an older man came up to my boyfriend and told him to bring the dog around, but he told the gentleman 'ok but we're waiting to see what table to go to..' to which he threw his hands up and rolled his eyes at my boyfriend, mumbles and goes to sit back under the pergola and drink his PBR. Seems like he may work here as he was up bussing tables and telling wait staff what to do. we ended up having to wait about 10 mins (so, glad we didn't just waltz up and seat ourselves like the guy told my boyfriend to) and then we sit down and was given a bowl of water for our 10 month old lab. So , dog owners - here's where it gets not-so-friendly. The previously mentioned older man starts talking about my puppy and how she's 'only good when she's given food, then she's right back up' I guess my dog is supposed to lay at my feet and never move. Then my pup puts her her front paws on my lap to love on me, then up on the table , to which I correct her. but not before the peanut gallery with his cigarette and PBR- again- says sarcastically : "oh yeah what a good dog ... up on the tables!" at this point I am GLARING at him. biting my tongue but eventually scoff back reminding him she's just a puppy. so yes they're 'dog friendly' but be prepared for this grumpy fella to talk about your dog if it isn't perfectly still. mind you , my dog injured her tail swimming and couldn't exact sit. she only barked once , and it was at this gentleman who just stared at her. judge of character? probably. As for the food - it was good. we would honestly come back but will not be due to the remarks this worker/owner/regular whatever he is was making throughout our dinner. our service was great , given the patio only had one waiter working and he did a phenomenal job. other people seem to love this place and I can see it but we will just stick to other pup friendly places in Gatlinburg. read more

My boyfriend and I had dinner here after several YouTubers mentioned it. It's definitely not in downtown Gatlinburg, but it's worth the short drive. We started with the fried pickles and I really enjoyed them. They were thinner than most fried pickles and were crispy. I found them a tad spicy while my boyfriend said they weren't spicy at all. Either way, a definite do-over. He ordered the smokin' & rockin' combo which has a half rack of ribs and half a smoked chicken. For his two sides, he chose the baked beans and fries. The chicken was quite good and the ribs tasted good. They were rather tough to get off the bone, however. In any case, the beans and fries were awesome too. I ordered the Cuban with a loaded baked potato. It was on a soft flatbread which tasted good but I wish it was on toasted bread instead. There's just something about a Cuban that needs the texture of toasted bread. Overall, we really liked the food and will be coming back on future trips to the area. We've been to this awesome joint a few times, and it rocks!! This is very much a locals spot, so know that it gets completely packed very quickly, and weekends are . All that said, the food is fantastic, great drinks, and the staff is so killer here. It's just so good, you should absolutely add this place to your list of Gatlinburg spots. We ordered some amazing pizza - the Blackberry Pue is just so good. Covered in great cheese and meat, and the crust is super crispy and delicious. Overall the value of this place was just ok. We had a party of 10 with 6 kids and 4 adults. We ate here right before the Memorial Day weekend, so I am not sure if that had something to do with the just ok experience. The place has a more bar type feel but you wouldn't feel weird bringing in your kids. The place was clean as well. Unfortunately when we went they were out of pizza and out of chicken tenders which made ordering for the kids a little tougher. All kids ordered off the adult menu. The place wasn't very busy and the service was just ok. We did get checked in on one time after our food delivery for drink refills. Great live music, tonight it was a pianists rocking the keys. I enjoyed my hot brimstone smoked wings pair with an ice cold Bud Light draft. The fried chicken my wife ordered was dry and she didn't care for it too much. They recommended Three Jimmy's, and we were NOT disappointed. This place is truly a "hidden gem" it's tucked in behind a shopping center and had we not had the specific name and recommendation; we would have never spotted it. Overall it was an okay experience! It wasn't terrible. My 3 kids and husband all enjoyed their food. My chicken came out and looked delicious but it was still pink on the inside. My salad came out wrong as well as I asked for no croutons and xtra dressing. It came with croutons and no extra dressing. The mashed potatoes were good. Could've used gravy. By the time the server had a chance to come over my whole family was done so I just asked for it to be removed which he did and apologized. He did offer to have it remade. We asked for drink refills but those were never brought out. The server was busy and we understood having been in the service industry. The wait wasn't long 10-15min. They have a bar inside. Yelpers get 5$ Margaritas, so don't miss it. Also if you have linked your credit card, you get 7% cash back. The drinks on the menu is limited, but they will make any drink you want. We went there just for the drinks, so we had some beer and lots of chicken wings. They are not the best wings in the world, but does the job. They have live music inside which is good. We sat on the patio because we want to feel the fresh mountain winds.
