One of my favorite bars in New Orleans. The drinks were really well priced and the tots were good, so that's all I can say for the food. The atmosphere was cool and there was live music. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. I would love to come back here.

Quick service, friendly staff & lots of Jazz music!! Drink menu has something for everyone. I enjoyed the summer muse that is light & refreshing with reasonable pricing!!

The only way to get a table is to order something from their menu. The other option is bar seating. The bar was full when we arrived on Saturday 7:30 December 7th. We wanted to sit so we ordered the chocolate bread pudding. They were out of ice cream, which it usually comes with it. It was rich and warm, it would have been better with ice cream, but it was still good. It was worth it just to get a seat. The vibe was enthusiastic and upbeat. I highly Reccomend the Three Muses.

Live music at this venue was fantastic!! We heard the Orphaned Storyline band - very entertaining, talented, and fun! Food came out quick and service was good, jazz club vibes. We loved the cauliflower bites with the spicy Korean Gochujang sauce but the chicken rice bowl was underwhelming, I did not like the seasoning of chicken. You're likely better off with the Bulgogi Bowl instead. The muse fries were undercooked and very litely seasoned. They were decent with Louisiana hot sauce and ketchup but nothing special.

Didn't try the food, but Three Muses is an under 21 friendly jazz club with music daily. My 17 year old son and I went twice while in New Orleans, and we enjoyed the music, the laid back ambience, the attentive and friendly service, and the strong mixed drinks (for me). I would be happy to attend even if I were not accompanied by a minor. Go and enjoy!

Was a bit wary of checking this place out because some of the reviews but so glad we went in, was so worth it. Friendly and attentive service, tasty drinks and the good food. All the plates were a good size. The gumbo was nice and spicy, the chicken sandwich was YUMMMMM and the red beans and rice was "f**king incredible" to quote my dinner companion. Heads up, if you're a person that likes a "little spice", this is much more than that so order accordingly. We started with fries along with our drinks and they were equally delicious (you gotta like perfectly fried fries). The trio that was playing was very good with a nice vibe with an amazing sounding Markbass amp.

We loved this place. We needed a late lunch after a long day of walking around, and wow! We were so satisfied. The drinks were outstanding - fancy cocktail bar worthy but in an approachable setting. The musicians were talented and the service was friendly. If I was a local, this would be in the regular rotation.

We LOVED watching The Slick Skillet Serenaders. The bar is so intimate and cozy with plenty of seating. One drink minimum per set and just a total chill vibe. Exactly what we were looking for on Frenchmen Street. The musicians are wonderful and super talented.

Had dinner here on a weekday night because we saw the live band from the street. The food was a bit disappointing, particularly The bulgogi bowl. The meat was very hard to chew, and it really wasn't authentic. The fries as appetizers were way too salty. Our waitress was patient and nice though. The band was pretty good. They went around to every table and asked for tips after each of their sets, which was a little disrupting. At least they had clean and spacious bathrooms. Overall, the food wasn't great. I'd probably only recommend ordering drinks and listening to the band.

Great music with a cozy environment. My only complaint is some of the seats in the back don't have a decent view of the artists. Spent a good amount of time enjoying the live music assortment that they had and slowly consuming fries and some smaller dishes. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quieter vibe

On a recent trip to NOLA, we decided to try Three Muses (May 18, 2025). I had read that the restaurant was accommodating for us Celiac folks. In fact, the hostess outside the door assured me the night before that they would completely accommodate my need if we came back. But I am not convinced that they did. They tried. Anyway, we had a good meal, enjoyed the music, and I didn't get sick (surprisingly). First the good: The music was awesome. That night, we heard Betty Shirley and her combo. They were stellar! Real jazz and not ear-splittingly loud like some of the other venues. Our server didn't know what they had that was gluten free, but he did go back and check for me. I wound up with about the only option which was the Jazzy Chicken Wings with no sauce. They only have one fryer, so there was cross-contamination. The server (Bryan) was great to check on that for me. I'm still puzzled why the Still Rose Wine was not pink and tasted like Chardonnay. I didn't bother him with it because I already felt like I was enough trouble with my gluten issue. My husband loved his Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich. The atmosphere was cozy and very "jazzy." So here's what bothered both of us: In this day and age, you need to have at least two completely gluten free options on your menu. Almost every other restaurant does...even in New Orleans! Next, not only do they charge a live music fee of $3/person (totally fine and expected), but to also automatically charge 20% gratuity for "parties of 1 or larger" (as stated on the menu and bill) is shocking! We always tip 20% and then more if we are exceptionally impressed; however, we know people who tip 0%. Fortunately, the service was great! We even forgot something at the table and Bryan held onto it for us when we came to get it the next day. Thanks, Bryan! Unfortunately, I won't be back because it's just not worth risking a gluten response. Fix that, and we would come back on our next trip.

We wandered into the Three Muses while exploring Frenchman St after finishing our tattoos at the Electric Ladyland shop. We were encouraged to go in to Three Muses by my what appeared to be, a local gentleman sitting outside touting about their food offerings. Unfortunately, they were not serving hot food at that time but we did sample the drink menu...it was sparse due to the staff not knowing where to locate all the necessary ingredients for all the cocktails on their menu but I lucked out and they had what was needed for the signature martini I longed for as well as for my husbands go to, Long Island. Both were good! Strong and tasty. Cute establishment, great art on the walls and they have live music in the evenings

Awesome Korean food on menu-female owner is Korean and it's the real deal. She's doing what she knows with Family recipes. Oh yeah- The Music is the best of local traditional swinging jazz featuring the best local talent!

Front seats are WORTH the money!! Each artist got to highlight a song of their choosing and each one ATE! They left no crumbs. I must have been a smiling fool in the 2nd row seats, but music, personally, is the best way to get through me. Years in music myself, I understand the dedication and commitment it takes. You FEEL that here when they are on stage performing. Jazz and its spontaneity and history is the cornerstone to Preservation Hall. I LOVE that there is no recording/picture taking allowed (unless the artists strictly tell you otherwise). It helps keep their art intact but helps immerse yourselves with them into their craft. Living in the moment. The last song they kindly let us record/take pictures and I will treasure them until I can come back. The location is right on Canal downtown, so that has it's pros and cons, but we didn't have any trouble getting there. I got 2 show tickets and a valet ticket online. Once I arrived I drove to the Sheratons valet parking and handed over my car. This part was such a relief. Who the heck wants to walk these New Orleans streets in heels to attend an event? Not I. So I was glad they offer valet parking. When I walked into the hotel finding the event space was a little difficult. I found a staff member and they pointed me in the right direction. Once I got into the event space it was really nice. It looks like it's an art museum with nothing but different variations of the famous blue dog painting, which I thought was cool. Rachel was my bartender. She was very polite. She let me know that I would be served drinks at the table/area I chose to sit at so I didn't have to wait at the bar in order to get a drink. I ordered a French 75 which was great and I also had a cheese plate. They didn't skimp on the cheese plate. It was a decent size for the price and it included about 5 different cheeses, strawberries, grapes, and blackberries. Very tasty. The jazz musicians started playing around 8:45 I think. The music was great. It wasn't the kind of jazz you get up and dance to it was the kind of jazz you sit and listen to while really taking in and appreciating the amount of skill it takes to create music like this. Unimpressed with the lunch special.. offering was hamburger steak ( noted as a menu item at 10oz)…read morethe one I received couldn't have been any larger than 6oz.. looked like a thicker child's burger, mashed potatoes ( scoop smaller than the burger patty) green peas, the large cheaper ones. The peas seemed to have poured straight from the can, no sign of any cooking, seasoning or love. The meal in its entirety lacked any home cooking attention or effort. Price was $12... while this could be considered a good price, all things need be considered. For me, a lunch special advertised out front of a restaurant, is the pinnacle draw to entice/ welcome people to come on in, have a seat and enjoy a meal prepared with love and care. It should be a small representation of the entire menu offering..( if you like this ...you should come back and try....... !
