Walking in The Verdict tv does nothing for your own eyes. This was my birthday bunch it was R&B and yes they were rolling with the music. We walked in was greeted, walked rite over to a table. The waitress knew the menu very well and had some good recommendations. The food was hot delicious and came out really fast.

Grits and lamb chop. The grits were very tasty.

The restaurant's location (New Orleans East) is very convenient. The food was very tasty and the portion size was generous. Service was a little slow, with no follow-up or explanation on the delay. I was disappointed that the lemonade was made from a mix and not fresh squeezed. All-in-all, I will return and encourage others to give them a try.

Beyond impressed by this place. Went there for their Saturday brunch. It's recent remodel gave it a fun but classy look. Although there wasn't anyone there at the time, everyone gave us a 5 star experience. The drinks were everything you want at a brunch. The chicken and waffles were sooooooo good. Chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned while the waffle was warm, soft and buttery: even the ranch was good. The Scrambled eggs were better than mine. I've never had eggs seasoned so well. Pancakes had the crispy edges with the soft center. I typically am not a fan of grits with a red sauce but this one was delicious and the fish was perfect. I speak much success over this place.. so good and you can definitely feel the love.

Great experience! Yesterday was my birthday and got a free big drink! The drink was so good it wasn't too big or too weak it was just right! I love the service the waiter kept checking in on us! Next time I go I'll try to the lemon drop!

As a New Orleans native and owner of a tour company, I'm always on the lookout for authentic spots to recommend to my guests. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting The Verdict in New Orleans East, and it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with the kind of Southern hospitality that makes this city so special. The bartenders and waitstaff welcomed me like family, setting the tone for a truly memorable visit. The atmosphere at The Verdict is lively yet comfortable, combining a chic, modern aesthetic with the warmth of New Orleans tradition. It's the perfect spot whether you're looking to relax with friends, enjoy a date night, or simply get a taste of local culture. The staff's attention to detail was evident in every interaction, and their eagerness to make me feel at home made a big impression. Food & Drinks: The drinks were phenomenal--creative, well-balanced, and bursting with flavor. Whether you're a fan of classic cocktails or prefer something a bit more adventurous, The Verdict has something for everyone. The mixologists know how to capture the essence of New Orleans in every glass, with drinks that are both visually stunning and deliciously complex. And the food? Let's just say it's New Orleans on a plate! The flavors are bold, authentic, and unmistakably local, with dishes that honor the city's culinary heritage. From fresh seafood to perfectly seasoned Creole dishes, every bite was a reminder of why I love this city's cuisine. It's the type of food that feeds the soul, capturing the heart of New Orleans in every mouthful. Special Shoutout to DAI: If you're visiting in the evening, make sure to ask for DAI! She's an absolute gem of a server and bartender who takes hospitality to the next level. Not only is she knowledgeable about the menu, but her energy and warmth make every moment special. Her passion for what she does shines through, making her an unforgettable part of the experience. If you're in New Orleans and looking for a spot that combines fantastic food, expertly crafted drinks, and the warmest service in town, I highly recommend stopping by The Verdict. It's the perfect blend of New Orleans charm and quality, and I'll definitely be back--and bringing my guests along too!

I've been here several times & it's always a vibe. The food is so good!! The crawfish bisque egg rolls are my favorite! The chicken wings are like home fried so delicious! The white chocolate bread pudding egg rolls are always a MUST. The Queen Pin drink is my go-to! Friday's they have live music & Wednesdays are karaoke! They have hookah also. Went here for a birthday celebration. It was R&B night. This was during their grand opening weekend. It was such a vibe. Great music with great drinks! I can't wait to return to try out more of the menu and maybe even get a hookah.

Nice chill spot. Vibe and atmosphere is cool. Food and drink prices IMO are overpriced, but I don't mind supporting a black owned business. Waitstaff and service was definitely on point tonight!

I came out to The Verdict's grande opening & again on a Friday. What I would say is whether with a packed crowd or not the staff were extremely attentive & courteous; from the security greeting you @ the door to the servers & bartenders. As a long time New Orleans East resident I'm so grateful there's a venue of this caliber in my neighborhood. 10/10 WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Admittedly, I have other regular stops these days, not for a lack of love or anything, these things happen. But Bar Tonique is a forever favorite, a worthwhile stop before a concert at the Saenger. The best place to stop, along with the Black Penny, on Rampart if you want a good cocktail. We stopped in on a hot Sunday late afternoon. What a refuge! The bar had plenty of seats, and the people in there were a nice mix of locals and cool tourists that don't want to spend their drinking day on Bourbon Street. Drinks are so fairly priced. In a time when cocktails are upwards of 20 bucks even in NOLA, it's nice to see theirs cost considerably less and they have a solid HH with $8 cocktails (rotating specials). Not BS beer and a shot or well drinks, but actual expertly-mixed drinks. And frozen Ramos Gin Fizzes if that's your thing (not mine but I get it).

On both days we visited, the place was packed, yet the crowds never affected the service. The bartenders were incredibly efficient, turning out drink after drink without missing a beat. Everything we tried was spot on. They clearly know what they're doing, and the prices make it even better. it's truly a steal

The bar has a bartender, not mixologist, who makes drinks that I can make better at home. The little drinks are served un-garnished in tiny plastic cups and cost $15+. Not to mention they will take whatever tip amount they like out if you forget to close your tab. So my basic plastic cup of lemon, sugar, and a splash of vodka (I can't even call it a lemon drop) was $20. I wish I had taken a photo of how tiny the cups are.

Yes, I learned some things about the culture and people of New Orleans and I got a few good pictures but I wouldn't recommend this at all. I was hoping to get a picture with my sister as indicated on the website but I didn't see anyone offer that or see it as an option once we made it there. I thought the mini story in the elevator was fun, short of course but they need to restructure this place I honestly was unimpressed. The website suggest it takes an hour and a half to experience the whole place, we walked the whole place, took pictures, watched 2 videos in well under an hour and a half. The employees were very nice and helpful; maybe I expected to much of Vue but I say temper your expectations.

Still a bit jet lagged, I'm glad we stuck around since the online reviews looked promising. Even though they had seating areas available, we just sat at the front end of the bar. There was a menu of carefully curated craft cocktails which impressed us with their meticulous detail (Photo 5). The bartender was patiently describing the ones that piqued our interest the most. Jamie ordered the $17 Moon Goddess, a tantalizing Senegalese-inspired tall drink mixing gin, sherry, almond, coconut water, and moon bitters (Photo 10). The hibiscus sugar rim lent a tropical sweetness that was welcome in the midst of a brisk autumn. I went for a jazzier libation, the $17 Barons Thirst, a throat-warming blend of bourbon, rum, sherry, passionfruit, coffee, and lime (Photo 8). With Haitian roots, it came amusingly with a lit cinnamon "cigar" that served as a swizzle stick. Both provided potent flavors, so we decided to have an alcohol-free second round, refreshing $10 Coco Margaritas with non-alcoholic mezcal, coconut, and lime (Photo 9).
