    Both nights were great!!!

Such a gem!!!! 10/10 for sure!! Unfortunately this place has ruined Jazz everywhere else for us.... No other place compares to this!!! We will have to make a trip from CA just for the Jazz here.

This was such a cool find! Very intimate and cozy space. The music was fantastic and very engaging, I could tell they truly have a love and passion for what they do. We didn't get anything to eat, I don't think they had food. But our drinks were nice and so were the staff.

Yes, please and all that jazzzzz! Mahogany Jazz Hall left my toes tappin' and my heart zappin'. Blessed to see & hear the legendary Leroy Jones this eve!! Only thinking I could see him at preservation hall and then tonight the stars aligned. One drink minimum, plus donations to the Band- more than worth it. Servers are on it too, there's no waiting. Drinks are good too. Highly suggest the passion fruit melody , a walk down the street. Or something like that :)

Mahogany Jazz Hall is décor goals!! Exactly what I want my house to look like. My friends and I came here for a night cap at the end of a long travel day to NOLA. Miraculously we found seats in the back of the bar. So cramped when the live jazz music is going. I enjoyed their Death in the Afternoon (absinthe & bubbles) and Vieux Carré drinks. The cocktails are about $17 each, which checks out for a speakeasy. Would love to get here earlier next time to grab seats in the front room, but we had a great time overall!

A vintage jazz bar, beautiful interior of green walls, wood, old paintings and very good acoustics. Its small, seating is tight but not impossible. Old brown sofas are comfy and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Can't remember my drink name but it was sweet and had sliced apples. Good bar close to Canal Street. I recommend it. $5 donation AND 1 drink minimum required

This place had wonderful cocktails and live jazz. We sat in the back room that had a nice speakeasy vibe to it. Be aware that there is a $5 band fee and 1 drink minimum.

    Beautiful back room

Great spot for a date night!! It's much smaller inside than I expected, but the music, drinks, and service were on point. I wouldn't recommend this for large groups, but great for my husband and I! We will be back!!

Hidden gem. Fantastic drinks, talented band with audience participation and lively vibes.

Such a fun venue, highly recommend if you're looking for great jazz music in The French Quarter. It was easy to grab seats right in front of the stage as people come and go enough that seats become available often. Servers were friendly and very attentive. Drink options are plentiful.

Went in there a couple of years ago. It was crowded but a great experience. Went in here after hearing music from the street. jazz is my weakness, so we went in and as crowded as it was, found a seat at the bar. The staff were attentive and nice. Even talked to us about where we were from. The drinks were great. I kept it simple. See videos and photos for more. We took home a T-shirt and a mug as a souvenir.

Awesome cocktail bar and jazz club. The service was so friendly and attentive and the music was amazing! I would definitely come back here. The vibes were so cool and it was a fun night.

Great cocktails and atmosphere. The band playing was excellent and the venue had good sound too. We will be back next time we are in town!

The ambiance is lovely, and sitting out on their patio made for the perfect, relaxed New Orleans evening. The highlight of our round of drinks was definitely the Righteous Harlot cocktail. It comes in a beautiful flute and is a stunning bright pink color, mixed with vodka, dragon fruit cordial, St. Germain, and sparkling wine. It was incredibly refreshing and perfectly balanced. We ordered a few different small plates to share around the table. The Scotch Egg was spectacular--perfectly crispy and savory on the outside with a gorgeous, rich jammy yolk inside, served right alongside house-made piccalilli relish. We also tried the Zucchini and Horseradish plate, which was incredibly unique and flavorful. It features a perfectly charred zucchini base loaded with a zesty horseradish cream and topped with beautifully shingles of crisp, fresh zucchini slices. While I didn't get a chance to snap photos of everything else we ate, every single bite was inventive, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic, and the bartenders really know their craft. We highly recommend dropping in for a sophisticated drink and a few excellent bites!

Sitting for 2 hours watching the regular turnover of the precious seats at the Carousel is still big fun. And having a friendly chat with the constant turnover of strangers sitting next to us is part of the unique charm of the Carousel Bar. As we were leaving Corey the bartender let us know management is shutting down next month for a few weeks for much needed repairs & renovations so the Carousel can add another 50-60 years to its legacy.

The cocktail list looked interesting, but the two we had tasted pretty standard, inline with what you'd expect from a hotel bar (it is inside Hotel Monteleone). There is a small bar bites menu - the Cubano was tasty but a bit overpriced at $18. The service was okay. We ended up getting water from our server that brought us food as the bartenders were too busy making cocktails. There was a jazz band playing on Thursday night when we visited.

The Apothecary was the cure. We grabbed seats mid bar and before we even finished settling in, there were waters waiting on the bar. Inside is low light and old time apothecary mood, menus like a spellbook, but it's not gimmicky. The bartenders move like they've done the reps. Calm. Precise. No frantic showboating, no syrupy cover ups, no sloppy pours even with the parade energy banging on the door. We ordered two and they were both dead on.
