Came in here for a business lunch with a customer. This is an old fire station converted to restaurant. They serve southeastern Asian dishes. I chose the Salad Bowl to try Felipino Pork Belly. The salad was great but the drop-fried pork belly had too much fat not enough lean meat. Should have tried Sriracha pulled pork. Overall, still a wondering dining experience at downtown Granville. Half of the patrons chose Rice Bowl. There are so many options to choose from, and the restaurant also has great IPA choices. Definitely coming back during the dinner time to try more. read more

Very busy on a Friday night! We ended up sitting at the bar. The first half the bartenders were very busy but near the end were friendlier and attentive. My old fashioned was just ok. Too much ice that overpowered the drink. My husband got a beer flight. The Mai Chau fries were really good and unique. The noodle bowl was ok. I didn't love the thin noodles and there wasn't enough flavor to coat all the noodles. So I brought home half a bowl of plain noodles. Service: waitress was nice and willing to let my dad try their different beers on tap before he made a decision on his beverage. She kept waters full and was frequently checking on us. Ambiance/Atmosphere: Established in an old fire house the restaurant is a nice and cool place for friends. The bar is spacious and the outside patio although small is nice. The restaurant itself is an outside feel no matter where you sit as the large fire house garage doors are all open. Food: Viet dip is great. You could really taste the Vietnamese flavors and the bread was nicely crispy as well as soft to soak in the aju. Mushrooms and peppers were well sautéed and the meat tender. The biggest issue is they're extremely skimpy on the meat and you might as well order a mushroom and pepper dip. Flavor is good, but with the poor excuse for a protein portion I wouldn't recommend. Lamb gyro is great. The lamb is tender and very well flavored. Pita is soft and the ingredients are fresh. The tzatziki.adds a nice creamy texture and accompanied with a nice flavor. The meat is plentiful and I'd recommend. Japanese fried chicken buns are good. The buns are soft and chewy. The chicken is crunchy and well seasoned. Paired with red cabbage and yum yum sauce that adds a nice sweet pairing to each bite. These used to be amazing, but what seems to be a running theme they're very skimpy on toppings. I would recommend these regardless as they are still pretty good. Pretzel is ok. The pretzel lacks all crunchy, but is pillowy and soft. Could use more salt and the beer cheese is nothing special, you could easily mistake it for your basic cheese sauce. I wouldn't order it again, but if soft pretzels are your preference than I'd recommend. read more

Checked this place out at the beginning of December with some friends. The food was all delicious. We got the jumbo pretzel. So good. The beer cheese and mustard were both on point. We got a few summer rolls to split. Wow. So light and refreshing. The pork dumplings were so good! My friends both got a variety of steaks buns. They loved them. Have not been to Granville in a while. It's a nice little college town. Brewery is located on the main strip of town. Friendly employees all the way around. Good selection of beers. Came here to watch a game a few weeks back and also have some eats and drinks as well. Not terribly busy, so we got a prime table with good viewing action and ordered a round of beers. I really wanted wings, and (when in Rome) ordered the flavor combo suggested by my server as one of the more / most popular flavors to try. The beers we sampled really lacked any depth...nothing wrong with them per se, just nothing really special either. The Thai curry chicken wings (although cooked nicely in terms of tender meat and a crispy exterior) had a terrible sauce combo that I just did not care for. Wish there was better news to report, but the others at our table were also luke warm on their food and beverage choices so we made our way to another spot in town. read more

We were visiting from New Orleans and Three Tigers was recommended by our local relatives. It was jam packed Saturday night and with good reason- the food was excellent! We wanted to try the local creamery cheese curds (perfect), and my husband ordered the rice bowl with steak while I got the noodle bowl with Thai chili tofu. Everything was wonderful but we agreed the noodle bowl had the better flavors. The peanut sauce was maybe the best I've had and I wish I could re-create that tofu. I got the chance to try this place recently as my daughter played college softball with the DePauw University Tigers against the Big Red of Denison as part of the NCAC Tourney in Granville. Grabbed lunch here between games with a group of parents and managed to try a few beers as well! Service was awesome as we had a 10 person party coming just after lunch time and the hostess & wait staff quickly figured out how to fit us in, and get us taken care of with minimal fuss! Thank you! The Menu is spectacular! I love Vietnamese food and the Spring Rolls were addicting (2 orders) and the Banh Mi sandwich was excellent with both pulled roasted pork and smoked pig belly! I was a happy camper! And the beer selection was quite broad and tasty! I had a lemon saison and a couple different ales. All was delicious and refreshing and perfect for a sunny Spring / early Summer day! The setting was great as the renovated firehouse(?) was charming and airy and the overhead doors were open to the Patio! So all around, a great experience! My husband had the Cobb salad and it was just average. I had the Thai nachos and they weren't anything exciting. My son ordered the child hamburger and it was a decent size and he said it was good. Three Tigers + Mai Chau Kitchen is a returning favorite spot for me and my group of friends. The food is a lovely variety, fresh, and flavorful. The drinks also are incredible and the interior vibe is funky and fun. Service was friendly and prompt, but the fact that the restaurant does NOT allow reservations is a HUGE deterrent. My friend group planned our visit and drove a long distance to dine here. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour and a half for a table. The restaurant did not have an adequate waiting space so we had to stand outside in the cool evening temperatures with our group including pregnant and disabled women. I certainly hope the restaurant will consider reservation options; this would allow us to visit much more frequently! Perhaps reservations could require a credit card hold and a late fee - just anything that keeps groups from having to wait so long would be wonderful! Busy, busy place. After enjoying a Friday night meal, it's very understandable. Once we were seated, our server, Sierra, warmly greeted us and promptly took our drink orders. The porter, hazy IPA, IPA and a Tito's dry martini were perfection! Despite the fact they were slammed, Sierra didn't rush us to order our entrees. We settled on trying the Pho, noodle bowl with chicken and portobello mushrooms. All were flavorful and satisfying. Add to that comment, delicious! Place is cool the ambiance was lively, however I was not impressed with the Vietnamese sandwich and the pho consommé. The sandwich was more like a Philly with a weird slaw and you were supposed to dip it in the pho broth. Making it like a French dip. First the pho broth was too salty for my taste. The sandwich had no Vietnamese essence. If you going to do a pickled item you should at least use papaya and carrots or daikon and carrots. Not cabbage and onion and stuff. Literally the coolest. Ok, I don't go to Granville often so take my opinion or leave it. But Three Tigers is really cool! It was my first visit but it seemed to be very popular. I visited on a Tuesday evening with some girl friends, and it was BUSY. We had to wait maybe 15 minutes for a table but it was worth it. The atmosphere was perfect, especially on a crisp almost-Fall night. The garage doors were open, the seating was nice and open, and the food was hot and fresh! We started out with some drinks. One friend had the Imperial IPA and the other had the OLD CUBAN $11 (Spiced rum, fresh lime, simple, mint, Angostura bitters, Champagne float) and it was delicious! I tried a sample of Firehouse Red and Urban Artifact Bushel but they were not my favorite. I ended up with a simple Ace Pear Cider. Don't judge. Food: first of all, don't go when you're starving. You'll want everything on the menu. Actually, do go when you're starving because you will want to try everything, the prices aren't too bad, and everything is delicious! Ok, I didn't eat EVERYTHING, but what I did have was fantastic. I got the pho with rare beef and 3 steamed buns (Japanese fried chicken, mushroom, and pork belly). The Japanese fried chicken was amazing. It reminded me of my dad's cooking back home in Hawaii. You can order it from the kids menu too! It is a sweet, crispy, juicy cut of chicken that you'll want more than just one bite of. The buns are soft and semi-pillowy. The portobello mushroom was actually my favorite. It had a tempura-like batter that added a texture contrast to the usual soft mushroom. It was delicious! The pho was a generous portion, the veggie toppings came in the cutest little take-put box, and it was hot. I have to admit the flavor was mediocre. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad but it wasn't wow either. One friend had a pork belly bahn mi sandwich and she said it was delicious! She has been a few times and everything has been equally as good. Her husband spoke VERY highly of the spicy pork fried rice bowl and I definitely want to try that. Our other friend had the dumplings and said she could eat many more of them and that they were delicious. Overall consensus: deliciousness and nice atmosphere. Parking: slim, street parking. There is a small Huntington parking lot across the street that many people used. I parked along the main road in front of CVS and it was a quick and easy route to walk to the restaurant. read more

The brisket pho was ok, way to thick brisket for pho, broth was salty but ok, overall mediocre at best. The noodle bowl was flavorless and noodles overcooked to mush. The thai chili tofu was flavorless. Only flavor in the dish was peanut sauce. The mussels are horrible and so bad. The flavor was horrendous and the opposite of yummy. Close to inedible.
