Almost made me hesitant, but I was told it's usually quieter on Sundays. Everyone just wanted to get a workout in before the big game. I met Joel Hall - cool guy, funny, attentive, and a great salesman. They offer some nice recovery options like Cryolounge, compression boots, Hypervolt percussion massage, and human touch massage chairs. I was told those are an extra $10 a month, which isn't bad if you're into recovery stuff. Here's what Joel tried to pitch: personal training once a week for $50 plus a $50 sign-up fee= that's $100 total. Or twice a week for $94 a session with a $20 down payment=that's $55 per session. It felt a little steep, but if that works for you, definitely reach out to Joel. One thing to note; when I called the day before, I was told they had a steam room and dry sauna. Joel kept emphasizing the "dry sauna," but he never mentioned they didn't have a steam room at that location. Turns out, the steam room is at their Montclair location, just a heads up. They also don't have a pool. The dry sauna is not co-ed, which I personally like.

I appreciated the abundant cable machines and deadlift platforms, especially during peak hours. They have the colored bumper plates so you don't have to use hex plates for weightlifting. I also saw a free standing landmine setup in the corner next to the cable machines in the weight room. The weight room was sizable, but I personally didn't love whatever brand the single decline press bench was, as the smallest setting was too tall for me, lol. This is one of the nicer LAFitnesses I've been to, and I've been going around SoCal trying out different ones. It's bigger and better stocked, and seems more geared towards athletes in general.

The guest check-in process was much longer and more complicated than what I've experienced at other fitness centers, and the staff did not clearly explain the steps involved. Throughout the interaction, the process felt less like a straightforward guest registration and more like a sales presentation, which was unexpected and added to the frustration. My guest was asked to complete an extensive questionnaire, after which we were directed to an office to continue the process. Throughout the interaction, there was very little communication about what was required, how long it would take, or why certain information was needed. This created unnecessary confusion and frustration. Before meeting with the staff member in the office, I asked another employee (older man, shorter, black shirt , belly, thin hair) approximately how long the process would take. Rather than providing an estimate or seeking clarification, he repeatedly stated that it was not his department and that he did not know. Given his position, I expected a more helpful response or an effort to direct us appropriately. When we eventually met with the other man who guided us to the office, the conversation felt unnecessarily defensive/ passive aggressive. Instead of addressing our concerns about the lack of communication, he focused on justifying the process and made comments such as, "we can't just let anyone in here; there are murderers," which seemed unprofessional and unrelated to our concern. Our issue was never with providing guest information--it was with the poor communication, rude staff, lack of transparency, and the sales-oriented nature of the interaction when we were simply trying to check in a guest for a workout. To add to the confusion, the staff member later acknowledged that a mistake had been made regarding the guest pass on my account and that certain steps we were told were necessary were ultimately not needed. As a newer member, I was hoping for a more welcoming and organized experience. Better communication, greater transparency about the guest process, and a more professional approach from staff would have made a significant difference. Will probably be choosing another gym soon :(

The colors really complement each other. They also have different weight options, exercise balls, some mats available, stretch bands etc. For the grand opening they hosted 3 classes for the community. They had charcuterie cups, mocktails, different vendors and sign up specials. The owner, Samara, is so kind! It looks like they have a wonderful little community going on here. Parking is also not too difficult. She definitely gave this place a beautiful makeover. :)

I realized I never got around to leaving a review, so here it is. The gym is spacious, well-equipped, and has state-of-the-art squat racks and machines you don't always find elsewhere. But what really sets this place apart are two things that are hard to come by: an awesome crowd and genuinely friendly, welcoming staff. I met some great people here and truly enjoyed training alongside them. Although my circumstances and commute eventually changed and I could no longer make it in regularly, it honestly took me almost a full year to cancel my membership -- not because of the gym, but because I kept hoping I'd be able to stop by again and train with the friends I made there. When I finally did cancel, the process was surprisingly easy (unlike many other gyms), which I really appreciated. The gym has a lot of excessive perks: the tank, recovery etc that take up a lot of space and seriously contribute to a gym goers negative experience. This ample space could be used to add more essential stations that have traffic. The tank and recovery room are often empty. Due to the limited space, there is more traffic, and more traffic means longer times in the gym. They have this weird policy that prevents people from using the workout room to stretch or jump rope when it is not in use. This limits places for people to stretch or jump rope, leaving them with no options. EOS is like that girl that tries super hard to be sexy. Sexiness is not something that should be forced; you either have it or you don't. Whoever is over the operations and design of the gym misunderstands efficiency, lacks vision, should go back to the drawing board and start from the basics. I should add: the staff are great, and trainers are awesome at this location. The equipment and gym is pretty clean too
