This is a review about the management here not about the treatment or doctors. I was a patient with Dr Bauer from 2016 to 2017 and bought the package here. I had no idea that the business was transferred to another team until this year in August. I spent $2680 on a package that was not supposed to be expired, and started that treatment plan at the beginning of 2017. Until around July 2017, I moved further and felt less obligated to go back and decide to use the package for some drop-in visits. So after I revisit in August 2018, I was told that my package is all expired in May 2018, and they got this new management since Jan 2018. And from Jan 2018 to May 2018, no one has ever phoned me about this thing and they automatically make old clients packages expired in May 2018. I was so pissed that I probably lose over $1500 value of the package and the front desk lady said there was nothing she could do and suggested me to contact the old owner. I did, and which again, he suggested me to contact the new owner. I realize that this is going to be hopeless and I have to accept that I lost my $$$ here on my past decision. Seriously, please don't run business like this and I have no interest going back again to place like this. --- updated review 10/29 Got reached out by Dr Kauffman's office this morning and they said they've looked into my profile and they had the wrong numbers on file. That's probably why I didn't get the email and messages. They will go ahead and honor my package and I really appreciate this. As a matter of fact, this is a mistake that has been made by previous owner and I really don't want to go after the new owner. I will also honor the new package and come back for more updates. I have been going to Thrive Milpitas (their other office) for a while now and moved over to this new office since it's closer to my work. Thrive Milpitas is amazing their staff is professional and so welcoming, the therapists know what they're doing and Dr. K is the best chiropractor in town (as mentioned in other reviews and Milpitas post #1 chiro for 6 years in a row!) I was a bit hesitant to move to this office because I was so used to the Milpitas location but luckily for me it's the same feel with the staff, the nice and clean office, everyone's professional and it's nice to see Dr. K here too! I had back and neck issues from a car accident and both dr. K and Dr. Rosson helped me so much with treating my injuries. The stim, heat, stretching and adjustments helped me back to life and I couldn't thank Thrive enough for always having my back, cheesy pun not intended! My fiance got me a groupon for a consultation here. Dr. Bauer examined me and said I would need around 16 weeks of treatment. I was in a very bad state where I couldn't let the doctor even touch my neck. And I couldn't sit without back support for even a minute. It's been close to 6-7 weeks now and I can totally feel an improvement. I can now sit without back support for 15-20 min. I still get the pain in my neck when I workout but then it goes away once I relax. I never thought this would be possible given that I've been suffering with these back problems for more than 8 years. Just had my first month re-checkup and I am a new man. I've never been to a Chiropractor before but have been to physical therapy on and off for the past 20 years and never had complete pain relief. My problems started with lower back (lumbar) pain and neck pain. I found this voucher on living-social and decided to give it a try. I set up the appointment for my first checkup and was met by Dr. Doyle. She was very helpful and walked me through everything she was doing. She gave me the confidence that I will be well again. Then I was set for my first adjustment. On my first adjustment, I met with Dr. Bauer. He looked at the x-rays with me and described everything. To be honest, the moment I saw my x-rays, i was shocked. I was quite certain that at some point Dr. Bauer will say that I may need surgery but he didn't! and what he told me is that within approximately 9 months I will be pain free. To be honest, I was still skeptic. I've had these problems all through my adult life. I had my first adjustment that day and amazingly I left with so little pain! A week later, I was able to walk normal again. My friends at work go out for walks around the campus twice a day and I wasn't always able to keep up with them. After two weeks I was getting my energy back. Before going to Dr. Bauer, I wasn't able to spend a full day at work. Two weeks through the treatment, I would finish the full workday and then some! I felt you again. Finally, financially its not cheap especially that my insurance is not that good. But Dr. Bauer worked with me to get it sorted out. I've been going to see Dr Bauer and Dr Doyle for a month now for my chronic neck problem. My neck problem which has caused me daily headaches/migraines for about 2-3 months has decreased dramatically since my chiro visits. I've had about 2 headaches in the last month! Preface: I hardly ever write reviews unless I really think the person or service deserves it. I'd been to chiro before as an adolescent, but hadn't found one in the area. We were referred in Aug. to Dr. B from a friend who'd knew him in a prior office and had great things to say--helps to make a personal connection. I was pretty desperate at the time to get a nasty kink taken out that prevented me from sitting fully upright and lying down in most positions. I went in with an open mind, knowing there were probably other issues as well. My first impressions were that Dr. B is very friendly and approachable, easy to talk to and unintimidating. He likes to make sure you understand what's going on by having a simple discussion. He also runs free monthly classes to educate on basic spinal care concepts like subluxation. In other words, he wants to help! First visit is the exam. Completely non-invasive (no x-rays) and informal, some questions about personal experience with chiro care and what sort of injuries or issues you've had throughout your life. Then he moves on to adjusting. After even that first visit my pain was greatly improved! With the deal he had at the time, we got 2 weeks unlimited visits to try him out. He has a schedule for drop-in "maintenance", no appt necessary. They take less than 5 minutes in and out unless you need more care. After the 2 weeks, he gave me a summary offering some plan options. He works with FSA but because he's not part of an insurance network, he can offer highly competitive rates, including the unlimited plan. No further coverage/copay necessary. He has a modest setup, but is very effective in it. He has plans for expanding to another table & hiring another Dr. to keep the wait short and offer weekends, and has already introduced an automated logging system for drop-in visits, so things are looking good! He is also very responsive to emails and the website makes booking very easy! Disclosure: my wife and I both signed up for his 1-yr unlimited plan, so we are not paying per visit. I have been coming to 20/20 Chiropractic since Oct 2017 for once per week adjustments, and the staff has always been excellent. When I first started coming, I had numbness and tingling of my left index and middle fingers. Dr. Doyle took x-rays and asked lots of questions to get information on what might be happening to cause my condition. The next visit, she gave me a detailed explanation of how the bone spurs on my 5th vertebrae are irritating the nerves leading to my left arm and what she can do to help it from becoming worse. I am happy to say that I no longer have the numbness and tingling in my fingers, and overall my posture has improved greatly. Dr Doyle also helped me with an exercise plan that I do regularly that has helped with my energy level during the workday and maintenance of my weight. I must say that I look forward to my weekly chiropractic adjustments and Dr Doyle's friendly, cheerful, and helpful attitude! I visited Dr Bauer for lower back pain and had a groupon coupon with me that allowed for a consultation plus 6 visits. He was good at the consultation and I liked how he did the treatment. He told me that I would need 42 visits and since each visit was expensive I was not intending to continue treatment after my 6 visits. But on the first visit after my consultation he asked me if I was willing to do the 42 visits and I told I don't have insurance and i can't afford it. He told me that the treatment is of no use if he does only for 6 visits and hence he told that he would tally the remaining 5 visits with the 42 visit plan whenever I undertake it. He told that I already got my money value from the groupon as his single consultation itself was the groupon value. Well, you should honor your groupon commitment and not tamper it to your advantage with the patients. read more

Wow I can't believe I just hurt my back a few days ago! I came in to see Dr. Rosson because I hurt my lower back from landing incorrectly in Zumba class and could barely walk afterwards. Dr. Rosson said I had a muscle spasm. After his treatment, I was able to go back to work the next day. I was back to the gym three days later and started to slowly get back into my workout by using the elliptical machine. Five days later I am taking kickboxing and running again on the treadmill. Massages done at 20/20 is really good. I was having pain in my upper back and lower back since months. I got relief in my upper back. Lower back is ok. Got the massage done for an hour. Recommended for the patients those are suffering from back issues. But they won't accept insurance card in the beginning. I've had an old injury on my lower back many years ago. Unfortunately earlier this year, I pulled it again. Having had this injury for so many years, it was undoubtedly very frustrating. Upon recommendation from my wife, I decided to give 20/20 Chiropractic a try, and I am very glad I did. All the staff there are very friendly, supportive and insightful. The ladies at the front desk are always very nice and accommodating to my schedules for appointments. When it comes to the adjustment, Dr. Bauer is excellent. I was a bit nervous in the beginning, given that I've never been adjusted before by a chiropractor. He first took assessment of my current situation, then sat me down and explained everything in details. He was never pushy but always informative. He made me feel very comfortable and relaxed when he did adjust me, and explained to me what I should expect to feel for the next few days. There is also a free seminar/class he offers for all new patients, which I attended and found it to be very helpful. I would definitely recommend 20/20 Chiropractic to anyone who is experiencing back pain, or just frustrated with the limited movements that's hindering your everyday activities and the quality of life. I am not easily impressed with most businesses customer service. I am highly aggravated by just about all the doctors I have ever been to. Too many rush you through and don't even take the time to explain all your options. Going to 20/20 was amazing. I was not rushed, they listened and did a lot of tests to find out what was going on. When going over my X-rays they thoroughly went over the problems and the plan to get things fixed. I have never been to the Chiropractor before but Dr. Bauer was able to help out my intense pains that I get in my feet from spinal nerves. He also helped untwist my pelvis, which I did not know was twisted but knew that there was something wrong. Anyhow, I would say that one thing he needs to work on is consistency with the business (I know it is new but sometimes it is hard to follow with the new scheduling/information/requirements) and he can take a couple of days when e-mailing him a question.
