I love that Thrive Juice Lab uses organic ingredients. Most juice and smoothie places don't, so it's very refreshing to see that. In addition to smoothies, they also have fresh pressed juices, açaí bowls, and grab and go items like chia seed pudding, protein bars, gluten free cakes, and vegan desserts. I got the Strawberry Swag smoothie (imitation of the Hailey Bieber smoothie from Erewon). It was alright, but I'd rather it be a bit thicker. It was very runny. The women who worked the shop seemed very overwhelmed or annoyed even. There wasn't a big welcome or much customer service at all. I'm sure they're working hard because they also have to-go orders too. I am a big believer that a little kindness goes a long way.

food: decent reliable açaí (your average regular açaí) as for the other flavors, i feel like they're too experimental and the flavors don't blend that well for me at least on that yacht smoothie - i couldn't even finish half service: it was good nothing special ambiance: come and go types places not really sit down and eat. prices: insanely expensive parking : good parking is easy and it's in the same lot

This is a cool spot. Perfect to grab a to-go refresher rather than sit and enjoy it there, as there is only a bar along the wall and window to sit and eat. However, the blender sound is so loud, it makes it hard to try to have a conversation there. Parking is plenty though and we managed to secure a metal table outside to enjoy our açaí bowls. The menu is vast and they have a variety of gluten free, dairy free and vegan items. Totally worth checking it out. They also did not have other than honey as a syrup. No agave syrup available unfortunately. I had their PB Acai bowl which tasted ok but it was certainly missing a syrup like agave or so.

Throve Juice lab is one of my fav juice stop when im starving for something fresh, healthy and different! The service always nice here...The ambiance is chill and local. Today i also got $2 Gratitude for my next visit...They made my day...im coming here so often but when the employee acknowledges your existence its very sweet...Today i tried The Lunch which its a new item and they advertised it...the ingredients is Banana, dates, cold brew coffee, house-made almond butter, mushroom mocha functional blend, maca, house-made seed-based chocolate protein, oat milk, house-made vanilla chia pudding, and cacao nibs and ofcourse i ordered large for $15.95. Also my friend got Maca Luv $13.95... and i always buy Cocojune yogurt!!!! Very delicious....My fav....Overall great stop with organic and refreshing vibe!

I have recently laid my coffee kick to rest and have now been craving nutritional smoothies for my early morning pick me ups. This place has been on my to-do list for a while so I was really looking forward to trying it out after my early morning Lagree class. It's located in a shopping plaza. There were plenty of free parking spaces to choose from. I decided to get one of their most popular smoothies, which was their blue Laguna, which was absolutely phenomenal. All of the ingredients flowed very well together to deliver a well balanced, healthy smoothie that tasted great. There were a lot of different options that made deciding sort of hard, but I will be back to make my way through the menu again.

My friend was in need of a pick me up after a long night of work and I had passed by Thrive Juice Lab before and was curious if they lived up to the hype. She went three times during her 5 day stay in Newport Beach so I think they delivered! Full disclosure I didn't actually try the smoothies here but I did have a kombucha and ginger shot and it definitely perked me up. The smoothies were aesthetic too, as pretty as Erewhon honestly (and less expensive). Staff are friendly. It's pretty small, just a counter and some stools indoors but there's some tables in the plaza. I also got the blue drank (kind of a smoothie in a bottle). This was just okay, I wish I had gotten an actual smoothie though. Not in Newport often but would recommend to anyone who is!

I visited thrive juice lab on a Thursday afternoon. Parking was very easy since there's a lot right outside the store. We had ordered ahead, so our drinks were ready by the time we arrived. There were some customers, but no line when we got there. I appreciated their selection of snacks, including bliss balls from Meet The Source, as well as their premade drinks. I ordered the strawberry swag, while my friend got the pink dragon. We both enjoyed our drinks & can't wait to visit again to try more of their smoothies.

This is a great place for anyone who is vegan, gluten free and enjoys organic! I ordered the protein power smoothie and overall enjoyed it. It consists of Peanut Butter, Banana, Maple Syrup, Choice of Vegan Chocolate Protein or Vegan Vanilla Protein, and House-Made Sprouted Almond Milk. I chose the vanilla protein. The peanut butter wasn't too powerful and the smoothie was refreshing which I appreciated! I haven't tried but they also have cookie ice cream sandwiches and donuts that are gluten free and vegan. I'm curious to try and enjoyed seeing these options available. The was service was quick! It's a smaller smoothie shop but there's inside seating if you'd like to hang for a little.

This is a great place for your veggie juice. Service is fast and friendly. Inside is super clean with plenty of merchandise to purchase. We went here 5 days in a row when we were in town.

The place was very clean and there were a lot of things available in the store. The only thing I would say through me off was that I did order ahead and the item wasn't ready yet. The cashier said it would be ready in 2 minutes, but I probably would have rather heard that they're still working on it because it took longer. While I was watching the kitchen staff work on it, there was someone trying to get the rest of the Smoothie out of the blender, but the cashier who was grabbing the drink notice that the top was a little bit underfilled. What surprised me what they did was close lid and tap the smoothie cup upside down. Pretty much like oh just shake it the other direction so it hides the space. That definitely threw me off and is not like I didn't notice because I was watching. So considering that I paid for the up size when it was originally 12 something and the up size was 15 something. Kind of upsetting. Yes the Smoothie was good, but however they decided to serve it was not the best. I wouldn't normally say this, but I hope they don't do this to their other customers.

The ambience was inviting and so was the cashier who helped us. I let her know it was our first time and she shared with us her personal favorites and how to customize or substitute if we wanted. She also shared customer signature favorites. We were able to choose two different ones based upon her advice - and we loved it! We have come back twice since our initial visit! Would highly recommend for flavors of the smoothies and the friendliness of the staff. Side note: second visit was the Yacht Club which was also delicious!

So good!! I've been craving acai bowls like the ones I had when I lived in Hawaii and I gotta say, this place makes them spot on. Some juice bars and acai bowl establishments make them sickly sweet but Thrive's signature Acai bowl has the right balance of everything and their house granola is yummy too! I appreciate the amazing high quality superfood boosters that they offer and the cold press juices are not too shabby. (Coming from someone who has a Namawell at home.) Looking forward to trying their soups & salads. read more

I got the Stimulator Smoothie and I was disappointed. 1. Its supposed to be a smoothie - it was not smooth. I could feel chunks of banana and crushed ice with almost every sip. It wasn't blended well at all. 2. It tasted watery, making it hard to identify the different ingredients (banana, sprouted almond milk, coffee, dates, cinnamon and cacao maca protein) . It just tasted like ice water mixed with everything. Like I said I think ice was added cause I could feel the crushed ice and I think this made it bland. 3. Price: ended up paying $9 for this 16oz and it definitely wasn't worth it. Customer service was great and I liked that I could order on GrubHub and just pick up. read more

Honesty the best açaí bowl you'll ever have!! They have gluten free granola. It's also soy free. I come here because of those allergies. Fresh and made to order, and the consistency is perfect and veryyyy thick. Unlike some places where it's runny like fruit soup (yuck) I always get the PB bowl... with out the honey because I already think it's pretty sweet without. read more

Thrive was pretty good. I got a pitaya bowl and it was pretty tasty. The toppings were all yummy and the pitaya blend was good. This didn't necessarily blow my mind in any way, but it's a solid bowl. If you're passing and need a quick fix for an acai bowl or pitaya bowl or smoothie, then this place will get the job done. 4/5. read more

Would have loved it but felt the discrimination immediately. I am a young black woman came here dressed normally, had braids at the time, and came with my friend. We ordered what we wanted and the girl working the day immediately asked if we were taking it to go as though she did not want me in particular to stay and enjoy my drink there as I don't fit the typical Newport beach look. And, said we were eating/drinking indoors/for here she looked super disappointed *why am I not surprised*. And, the cherry on top this other customer took it upon herself when I was seated with my friend to break her neck to stare at me like bending her back to look over her partner for over 5 minutes straight even when caught she continued. No one in the shop did anything just let the behavior continue. Honestly, would not be back, and would not recommend it as a POC friendly establishment. read more

I ordered through grub hub and it took several minutes to get a confirmation, then it bumped up from 10 minutes to 40 minutes to wait for my order (GrubHub issue, not Thrive). I popped into the store and the young lady assisted me immediately. They got my order done right away! Thank you thank you thank you!!! I ordered the Sunrise Açaí Bowl and was the BEST I've ever had! Delicious, fresh, fully loaded! I cannot tell you how amazing it was! I've been to several places and this is BY FAR the best. I was skeptical about the price being more than most places (by $2-3), but it's worth it. read more

This place is the real deal! They had me at "we make everything here, even our almond milk" I was sold. And so my journey began... Trying a different menu item each visit. Have not been disappointed yet.. They just get better and better. From the chai tea latte, the acai bowl, or Laguna shake to the salads or blueberry muffin. Just to name a few. So much yum. Thee best Açaí bowls I've ever had, no exaggeration. You can tell how fresh each ingredient is not only by looks but by taste which is the ultimate deciding factor for me lol. I live in HB and head over there any excuse I can get and never feel like I'm there as much as I'd like to be. I LOVE the organic juices, smoothies, and açaí bowls here! Customer service is always on point and the vibe is really fun. Met the owner Cole during my last visit and he was very friendly, told me all about the health benefits of what I ordered. Try the antioxidant supreme smoothie with almond butter or chocolate protein! Amazing combo. The pumpkin joy with blue magic is epic as well. My favorite juices are the hardcore with apple and the gold doctor (turmeric w/ almond milk). 99% of the menu is plant-based so they are extremely vegan friendly. read more

My favorite & go- to place for an açaí bowl! This place tops the chart with their matta green tea latte (with light ice) of course! I come here nearly 2-4 times a week just for a healthy breakfast or afternoon pick me up. It's gotten to the point where most of the employees already know my name. My order is a PB açaí with strawberry and bananas instead of their berries (raspberries & blueberries), nut butter, and extra coconut shreds on top! Super yum and worth the try if your in oc especially since it's very accessible near the 55. One thing I have noticed is that during the week the matcha latte will be more rich and tastier whereas on the weekends it's definitely a lot more matcha. Up until last month I decided to give their "bliss balls" a shot and to my amazement they were delicious! Yesterday I went in, and the day before but they didn't have the cookie dough one I love, but so I ordered one chocolate and one mint, I had doubts about the mint bliss ball at first , but after my first bite I'm hooked it's my favorite!! Cant wait to order here again! Thrive is my favorite place ever! For the first time I don't have to research the label like many other "healthy" places. High prices but you get what you pay for. Raw bites, wholesome muffins (including GF option), organic granola, soups, you name it. The raw snacks + protein bars are packed with super healthy ingredients. My pb açaí bowl always tastes fresh & perfect. I appreciate that they have a variety of options if you are watching what you eat. No artificial flavors, sketchy chemicals, or artificial flavors here. Also super happy they don't do agave & put healthier options like coconut nectar, dates & maple syrup. Happy they opened a location closer to UCI. A major plus is that they partner with local healthy businesses like Wild Fleur Baking Co. (their muffins are at the register : paleo carrot cake, banana, etc.) & Meet the Source (banana cake tasted amazing). YUM read more

Okay..so I would rate Thrive Juice lab 3.5 stars but the lady that helped us was pretty nice and their juice makes me feel good so I'm rounding up to 4. We came here on the way to a day hike in Laguna and we had just finished eating a massive California breakfast burrito, Some green juice sounded like a good idea because we were getting food coma. We were told that Thrive cold presses their juices every morning and my friend got one of their green juices and one of their coffees. These were $10 each. The coffee tasted pretty amazing, it had ingredients such as dates and nutmeg but didn't seem like there was too much caffeine. (though to be fair I like my coffee muddy so..) I got a green juice smoothie and they allowed me to make some substitutions. Everything tasted fine, I just thought it was really overpriced. I would come back for the coffee though with maybe an addition of a shot of two of expresso! read more

I've ordered for pick up from here twice in the last couple weeks and both times I've walked in and they've handed me a bag that stapled shut and said I'm all set only to find out that both times they were missing a salad I ordered. They don't mention it, they just send me out the door and I get an email from about the refund. They don't even give me the opportunity to choose a new salad. I'm also tipping on the total amount so it's an over inflated tip for this terrible service. I called and asked for the manager to call me and it never happened. Poor attention to detail which isn't what you want when they are dealing with your food read more

This is an awesome place to go for natural, healthy, organic selections. The salads look good although I have not tried them yet. I did order a smoothie "make my own" which consisted of strawberry, banana, peanut butter and vanilla protein powder. It was delicious and throughout the afternoon I enjoyed sipping on it. My tummy had been a little unsettled and it hit the spot. It actually calmed my stomach! I noticed they had some cool food items like cleanes, energy items, weight loss and stamina drinks as well as cookies. Why not a shot of Lemon Ginger? I liked how quick the service was as I ordered 3 smoothies and the customer service was extremely helpful. They had 3 sizes for the smoothies and I got the medium however I did feel it was a bit pricey at $10.20. I am interested in coming back for some green juices and additional items as everything looked fresh. I love organic and think it is well worth the price. This place will be definitely be my "treat myself" place and I can not wait to go back! read more

If you're looking for a gluten free, dairy free, organic smoothies or açaí/pitaya bowls, look no further! The staff was friendly and my pitaya bowl was delicious. Also, they were fast making my bowl even with multiple people in line in front of me which is a plus. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Newport! read more

Then proceeded to assist every customer who lined up behind that original customer without once glancing back in my direction. In fact, I had enough time to walk to the bakery, go through the entire gift card situation as mentioned above, and return to the butter section, and Lucy still hadn't looked over. We finally got around to trying their Newport Beach location and sure enough, we were equally blown away by the quality and customer service here! This time my wife tried one of their cold pressed juices the 'Tummy Tuck' (not because she needs one) and needless to say, it's absolutely delicious! I always worry about trying a new location of a restaurant as a lot of times the quality is not the same. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the lattes, acai bowls, and a couple other treats was identical to their original location.
