Microdose is pretty much the drive thru version of Coffee Dose, which is one of my all time favorite coffee shops. While the drive thru itself is pretty narrow and can sometimes back up into the street, the drinks make it completely worth it. Everything I have tried has been consistently good and hits the spot every time. The food menu is definitely smaller than their flagship locations, but that is expected for a drive thru focused setup. I usually come here for the convenience and a quick caffeine fix, especially when I am cruising through with my dog Bennie. It is such an easy stop when I want great coffee without having to park or get out of the car. If you already love Coffee Dose and are looking for a quick in and out option with the same quality drinks, Microdose is a solid choice.

Love coming to micro dose on my way to the beach! It's so great they have a drive through so I can't quickly get a matcha and don't have to get out of the car. I am a huge fan of their matcha and the different syrups! It's the cutest little pink coffee shop. I got a vanilla matcha with cold foam and it was delicious!

A mini drive thru but also walk-up coffee place. They have a small menu but they do it right. In my opinion, similar concept to in-n-out. I got the Mary matcha and it was EXCELLENT. I strongly feel as though the color of your matcha says it all - the matcha here looks and tastes the part. I love lavender in my matcha and as a result, micro does has gained me as a returning costumer. The line to order through the drive thru is no joke but the wait and traffic is worth it :)

I miss the Stanton location because that was the closest one to me, but I love their coffee so much, I'm willing to drive further just to have it!! I've never been to this location and it was just a happy coincidence I saw it on the way to breakfast... talk about meant to be. Lol. I specifically didn't order a drink because I knew I was going to stop here. I had to!!! I wanted a drink that was for sure going to be delicious and it certainly delivered!!!! The coffee is still consistently yummy and I will always make an excuse to get Coffee Dose!!! : )

Thought this place would be overrated due to how cute and fun the theming is but I was impressed! I ordered the Basic Bitch, and while it was basic, it was really good! I'd certainly come back again!

I really like how their banana latte tastes like banana pudding instead of artificial banana laffy taffy. I will say the banana carried the coffee and you can tell the underlying coffee is not that great. My first time here and I would return again if I return to Costa Mesa.

Micro Dose is the cute roadside drive through of the Coffee Dose brand! This teeny store is nestled perfectly off the freeway in Newport and is a must visit! The service was so friendly in the drive through and moved pretty quickly. You can also walk up to a window to get your order taken. I highly recommend the Valley Girl matcha and Bananarama latte!

Quaint spot with darn good drinks. We went through the drive thru so service was fast. Would definitely recommend the valley girl matcha!

Ordered the banana matcha latte and it tasted sooooo fresh! You can tell that they use real bananas and not artificial flavoring. They also gave my dog a pup cup! Love that this is a drive thru as well

YUM YUM YUM!!! I got an iced vanilla late with almond milk and it was $7. It's sweet but not too sweet and has a perfectly creamy and smooth texture. There is a quick drive thru or you can walk up to the window. The girl at the window was so sweet and made my drink in probably 3 minutes. The shop is a cute pink and the cups have little art and fun designs on them. I love this place and will definitely be back!!

What an absolutely precious little coffee shop. It is so tiny. If it could say words it would say "I'm baby". Everything is pink, even the cones they put out when they are closed. Tall cacti grow around the tiny baby building. I tried to go there once after work but they were already closed for the day which was how I learned about the pink cones. But then I got lucky later that week and was able to go BEFORE work when they were still open. The girl taking orders in the drive thru was so sweet and when I said I wanted a matcha with oatmilk she said they had a banana matcha?? and a blueberry??? I went with the blueberry matcha with oatmilk and it was so good bro. Trust me bro. I will be back soon to try the other one I bet the banana matcha goes awffff.

We saw this spot while driving into our lunch venue and were intrigued as there was a drive thru line seeping out into the street. After we finished lunch we dropped in and ordered a "quickie" Oooh, this "Quickie" was good and well worth the wait. It was sweet, but not too sweet. It was a nice coffee slush-like drink . Would come back!! Actually, I'm wanting a "Quickie" now! Lol! Ambiance- no frills, straight to the point- order and go!

Located right across from triangle square in Costa Mesa off of the 55 freeway. You really can't miss it as they have a huge light up Microdose sign and the building is bright pink. Only ding is the parking lot is not the largest with only two parking spaces and leaves the rest for drive through which maybe 9 cars at most can fit through so peak hours it can be ROUGH to get in! Otherwise this Microdose mostly caters as a drive through hence the micro name but apart of the coffee dose fam. The drinks are pretty solid but can be pretty sweet. My second time here was much better as I really enjoyed the basic bitch latte($6.50). The bagels are also delicious here and recommend the OG OC ($8.50) as the avocado mash, Lemmon pepper and cream cheese were delicious! Overall, a cute spot when you need a quick caffeine pick me up in Costa Mesa!

(Does anyone work anymore!? ) The longest I waited was an hour but that was 3 weeks after opening. And I can tell you, as long as you have the time it will be worth it. The overall aesthetic is coastal cowboy meets rustic modern. There is a ton of seating with a great outdoor patio. Parking in the back is pretty slim, so your best bet is street parking. You can either get lucky or park around the block, depending on the day / time. My absolute favorite coffee is the Hawaiian Cowboy. It flavor profile is a nutty tasting honey that's refreshing yet not overly sweet. You can actually taste the espresso without it being too powerful. This coffee is worth the wait. Their other drinks are also good, but this one takes the cake. They have a pretty expansive food menu as well, so it's much more than "just a coffee shop". And you can't forget about their baked goods. O M G. It's from a local bakery (sift bakery) who makes the best non basic treats around. Salty horse found its place at the top of my list in a very saturated coffee market.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry!
