Overall, I had a positive experience with threo skin. Great location, lovely facial, and it seemed like they made adjustments to the facial based on my skin needs. But here is the reason for not rating it 5 stars: I had booked a hydra facial, which I've gotten numerous times on a monthly basis from other estheticians, which includes extractions. I had told the esthetician, Hadiyah, that that was the main reason I sought out an esthetician initially. However, by the time the facial had ended, she did not do any extractions. I wondered if I had misread the details of a hydra facial; however, when I went back to their website, it says the hydra facial includes extractions. If I could go back, I would've asked why extractions weren't included, but again, I wondered if maybe it was my mistake before making any accusations. I felt like I didn't get the entire experience of the hydra facial at threo skin and that my skin concerns weren't fully addressed. read more

From day one I take all her recommendations to heart and in all my life my skin has never been better. THE BEST ESTHETICIAN. Please see photos for reference. I saw other estheticians and several doctors for acne before (thank god) finding Sabrina. I was finally able to see her in late June of 2020 once she was able to open back up because of the pandemic. I initially found her on Twitter and her tips on Twitter about icing my face had already started helping before I ever got to see her, as the stress and wearing masks constantly working at a hospital made my acne much worse and very sensitive. Once I started on the regimen Sabrina recommended for me, it was night and day. My face felt so much better, less sensitive, and more hydrated after just the first few weeks. Then as months went by, the results were extremely clear. With the routine and getting to see Sabrina intermittently, we had my face clear of acne in under three months. Then we had to work on the pigmentation (PIE) it left, which at this point, we have improved significantly. Sabrina is extremely knowledgeable, makes herself very available via email to her clients, is extremely kind, caring, amazing and really funny personally. I have been trying out different estheticians over the past 6 months trying to find the right fit and I definitely think I have found her! She is results based and gets right down to business. She tailors your treatment to what your skin is telling her. THEN (and this was the part I was really wanting but hadn't gotten from other estheticians), she guides you on your home skincare routine. She could charge $200 for this advice alone, so I was so excited when she pivoted to talk routine. Other things I like: easy to schedule appointments via her website, and her studio is clean and beautiful. Obviously her before and afters speak for themselves. I reached out to Sabrina after someone else I went to did a bad job on my chemical peel. I went to her site to book a new client consultation, there was only one slot available so I booked it. I messaged her on Instagram shortly after to ask her opinion and sent pictures. She told me not to come in and that she couldn't give me any advice or insight until I healed, after I told her I already booked. When I asked about rescheduling she said she didn't have any more availability so it would be a cancellation and that she would keep the $50 deposit, even though she's the one who told me not to come in. It's not like I wanted the appointment cancelled. When I asked about other alternatives than having my money go to waste she responded saying she would refund me my full amount but that I could never book with her in the future. She's rude, arrogant and completely lacks EQ. She will treat you as a transaction, not as a human being asking for help. There are other people who will provide you with results AND will show you empathy and respect. I recommend choosing one of them instead. Post response edit: There is a BIG difference between saying "You have to wait a month to come in, here is a full refund since you just booked recently and weren't sure, if you find an appointment a month from now I'd be happy to properly assess your skin. Thanks for double checking with me." versus "You can't come in, but I'm going to keep your $50 because that's my policy and I'm booked up so I can't reschedule you. / I can give you a full refund but you can never book with me." All I asked for was possible alternatives to having my money go to waste and instead of providing possible solutions or just reiterating the policy, she took it upon herself to just straight up cancel, didn't even give me a chance to make a choice. And Sabrina's response saying her decision to not take me on as a client based off her "assessment" from an interaction where I was seeking her expertise, only reiterates my point. She made a judgment about me first and that is exactly what lead to my judgement in her character. This woman was sent to me by Jesus literally everything was burning me stinging me I called her panicking she assured me that the new moisturizer wouldn't burn or sting me I have tried so many things .
