Why do we always have to argue here? As repeat customers we always get treated like shit. We know what we signed when we bought the bike but now we are sitting here arguing w the GM (who we have never seen before.). We were promised 3 new tires when we needed them on the Freewheeler when we signed paperwork. We understand that we have had our 5 services and we were prepared to pay for the service today. We just want the tires we were promised. Not to mention that we rode almost 2 hours to get here and now an hour arguing. We had such great experiences buying our 2015 Heritage and then our 2019 Freewheeler. Every service we have come for its always an argument to get what we were promised and it's just not worth our time anymore to go out of our way to be treated like we are lying. After about an hour and a half of speaking with Sam (the GM), he ended up putting a front tire on our bike. Told us that there were no tires in stock for the back. Sat with us in the conference room and told us when t he tires came in he would call us, set up a time for Thunder Tower West to come pick up the bike, and tow it back to the dealership, install the tires and tow it back to us. Gave us his card and specifically said to only talk to him, Sam. When I tried to get it in writing, he said he couldn't do that. My husband received a call from the service department the next day. He was told again that our pp maintenance plan had expired so TTW would not honor putting the other 2 tires on. Before my husband could react the person had hung up. Thanks TTW for treating your repeat customers like liars. So much for the customer is always right. Won't be wasting our time again to come to your establishment. read more

Stopped in while in Atlanta area. Did buy a cool baseball hat with ear covers! However music so loud couldn't think straight! And so disgraceful that the toy drive toys were still in the store the day AFTER Christmas! Some well deserving kids were robbed of having new toys! Set an appointment for the training classes they had and was notified a day before classes start that it's been canceled because there are few students. While trying to register for classes they had about a million warnings on how if you don't show up you'd still have to pay or there's no refund or even if an emergency comes up you'd still have to pay $50 to reschedule. And just because they had few students they canceled and didn't even seem like it was a big deal. I have a very busy schedule and had to take days of 3 weeks in advance just to be able to get these classes so I could buy my bike from them! Got my refund for the classes but you guys also lost a customer who was going to buy a bike right after he got his license. Wonder if they were to be charged $50 for cancellation then would they cancel? smh read more

I bought my bike from them, the sales transaction was fine. Didn't take any longer than the other five Harley's I've bought from other dealerships. Parts staff is pretty good AJ is the best parts man there. Service is good, had the 1000 mile service and had a 107 to 128 stage IV done there. The lead tech John is awesome. Service advisors need to be more knowledgeable and better organized. read more

This is an addendum to my earlier review on my trade in for a TriGlide in June 2015. When I went to the tag office in June '17 for my tag renewal, I was told my tag on the trike had been cancelled for insurance lapse by the state. My tag was still never transferred from Dyna to the trike by the dealer. I thought I had been able to ride in good faith with a valid tag. I then had to show proof of insurance to the tag office before I could purchase a new decal. This scenario mess had gone on for 2 years all because paperwork was not filed properly and no remedy was in sight. It took my own leg work to straighten out the mess. Never again! read more

Ive had some pretty bad ones in the past, and have always left feeling ripped off.. i brought my 2016 softail in for a rear tire, brakes, and a 10k service. They squeezed me, get her done fast, and didnt leave me with a sore butt. But seriously, bike feels better than the day i bought it. I had an opportunity to go to Thunder Harley on June 17, 2021. I went to purchase an item that is sold in quart size and in a gallon size. The price is better when you purchase it in the gallon size. The gallon price for the item was around $32.61. The pints was $13.21 before taxes. When I put the order in, I was told the product was on back order and I would receive the product in two weeks. The two week wait was no problem, so I ordered the product. I waited but a month had passed so I decided to check the status of the order. I was told that they would call me when they get it. I never received a phone call. I went back to the store about two weeks later. I received the same (song and dance) response, that it's still on back order. On August 11, 2021, hoping it had arrived, I went back to the store to the store to check on my order again. I was told it was still on back order. This time I was told it was on back order until the middle of November. I asked the parts manager can I just have two four quarts for the price of the gallon since he had this product in store on hans. He said no. I explained to him that would be the best thing to do since I had been waiting so long. I asked him about the lack of customer service even after I have been waiting patiently, he didn't seem to care. He still said no. I asked if I could speak to someone else maybe someone over him? I spoke to the store manager, and explained the situation to him. He took a quart to the register to check the price of the item, which was around $13.00. The store manger told me that he could give me a 10% discount, which was still about $20.00 more from buying it at the gallon price. I told him I would be cheating myself. I asked them to please make this right after all this time of waiting and getting the runaround, that's the least they could do. I told him if they would not make this right I would be forced to leave a review Yelp. I didn't want anyone else to have to go through what I have gone through. I was also reluctant to leave a review because a brother owns the store and I try to support and uplift other brothers. Unfortunately, I had to leave this review because they did not make it right and the customer service at this location is horrible. I had purchased my bike at another location and at that location they made a $2,000.00 plus mistake and they ate the cost to satisfy me (the customer). It's sad that they are willing to loose a customer over this situation that they could have handled differently. I was going to take my bike in to them to install some new bars in the winter but I will not take it there now. They lost my business. I rather give my money to another location that appreciates me and have good customer service. read more

Finance guy , was very unprofessional, he tells you things that are not true, he's not consistent and I think he likes who he like, if you get what I mean. Run as far as you can from this place. I purchased my first Harley from another dealer the transaction was smooth, I came here because my husband was big on it being black owned, not sure that was the right decision. If I could post less than 1 star, I would. Warning: avoid HD Thunder Tower West at ALL cost. Don't step a single toe in this God-forsaken place. The dealership is a father/son owned place. I normally like family businesses, but both are completely dishonest and untrustworthy. I'll start from the very beginning... August of 2014, I decide to purchase a brand new Harley Davidson. First warning sign I didn't listen to: they screw my salesman, Nate, out of a commission, and upper management decides to take it because he wasn't there the day I signed. I made it very clear that Nate sold me the bike, he was a fantastic guy, I wanted him to get the sale. They said he definitely would. Well, he didn't, as he told me later. Second sign: the manager wasn't here, his brother was here. The sitting manager screwed up the financial write up for my bike three times. I had to order three different checks from my bank to accommodate his lack of competence. Now, I'm patient, so that didn't bother me. What bothered me was his lack of attention to detail and complete apathy of it. I decided to sign for the bike and off I rode into the proverbial sunset. Two weeks later, I get a call from a manager at the dealership asking me to return with the bike because there was a problem. I figured it was a recall part or something trivial. I return and to my great chagrin, they inform me they, "...gave me the wrong bike." I take a modicum of the blame. I didn't match the VIN to the paperwork, I decided to trust that the dealership knew what they were doing. Come to find out, they gave me a bike that was already sold to a deployed service member. Said bike had full security, exactly what I asked for and thought I was paying for. They inform me they had to take my current bike back and give me a brand new one. I was happy with that idea until they said I wouldn't have the security I paid for. Long story short, when I demanded I receive a bike with the security I paid for, the owner of the dealership (the manager's 'Daddy') basically told me he wouldn't fix it but he'd, "...cut me a check and take the bike back after a restocking fee..." I decided to cut my losses and take the new bike without security, being that I wasn't about to pay a 5% restock fee on a $10k bike. Since then, I've had two warranty claims on the bike that were completely legitimate. On both, the management fought me tooth and nail before giving in. Only one of the two were honored. I've had only problems with this place since. I will NEVER return. The only people who treated me fairly and with respect were my original salesman and the service department. Both service managers, who have since quit, were absolutely the best service technicians I've ever worked with and I'm sad to have seen them go. This place has a very quick turnover rate with employees, which is a red flag from the get-go. Again, avoid at all cost. read more

I went to thunder tower (W) to make a large clothing purchase for me and several police officers. after selecting the clothing went to the register to check out. while there I noticed a sign behind the counter that said military and first responder discount will be given with uniform or id. I was in FULL uniform. I asked the young lady behind the counter for the discount being that I was in FULL uniform and she said let me check turned to another older B/F who was later identified as the owners WIFE who YELLS NO You AINT getting no discount when the police stop us we don't get a discount pay the full price this was yelled at me in front of other customers. I encourage all LEO and military to Boycott this establishment take your business else where all of this is recorded on my body camera which I was wearing I couldn't upload it to this page however wsb tv has the video as well. read more

I bought my first Harley from Thunder Tower West. I was so excited to have my first road bike. The customer service and management is so bad here. They had to mail me 2 temporary tags because Michelle let it sit on her desk for 3 1/2 months. When she finally called she blamed in on Hurricane Florence which I don't live anywhere near. I even called another Harley Davidson store to ask what I could do to get a tag. They informed me that the process shouldn't take that long. I finally got a tag 6 months later. So after having my bike for almost a year I traded it in for something new. I bought the Extended Service Plan (ESP) and the GAP plan. Once you no longer have the bike you can get a refund on the time of the policy not used. They lied to me! They tried to say my refund was $329.00 but when I called the insurance company they really owed me $623.97. They also held my other check from ESP for almost $2000 saying they had to send it to the lienholder before they could cut me a check. It's been 11 weeks and I still don't have my refund. It's just terrible the way they do business at this location. Take the extra hour and drive to Great South Newnan. You won't be disappointed. read more

It's disappointing to read Devon's review of this dealership and to hear of all the trouble that he had. My experience has been quite different than his. I have purchased four motorcycles from this dealership over the years and two since Gene and Sean have owned it. The previous ownership treated me unfairly and three years ago I vowed to never set foot in the place ever again. Then I needed some spark plugs and reasoned that even Clayton County HD couldn't mess that up. When I walked in after a three year absence, I met Gene and Sean who introduced themselves as the new owners. I told them how glad I was to see the dealership under new ownership and within a couple of hours they truly earned my business and I rode out with a new bike. The service department has gone through some "bump and grind" over the past year as Gene and Sean re-staff it with professionally-trained mechanics and a service manager that really knows the bikes. The parts and motorclothes staff is all-new and genuinely helpful and knowledgeable. Last week I traded bikes once again and the sales experience and pricing were such that I can't imagine ever purchasing a bike anywhere else. Five-star rating well-earned! read more
