I had a ton of fun perusing the store. There were so many things to look at. Lots of holiday options but also a few staples if you just need a local grocer. Located in Southdale Mall, this is pure convenience for both your regular grocery shopping AND snacks on the go. They've got an amazing selection of ready-to-eat items, including a ramen bar (those exist!), a salad bar, a grill, and pizza. The store is clean, bright, and welcoming with an upscale feel. I definitely recommend visiting if you're at the mall. It's a bit out of the way for me to replace my regular grocery store, but I would probably pick it over the food court these days. Bonus: they have awesome coffee!

I got to try some at an event and decided to track some more down. You can order them for delivery in the Twin Cities area, or buy them in person at the Brooklyn Park Dragon Star Supermarket. They have specific plans to sell in more locations and at more events, but I'll probably get them delivered again when this order runs out. I always keep my freezer stocked up on dumplings from Asian grocery stores; these are so much better than what I usually buy. They are plump and flavorful, made by hand from very good, very fresh ingredients. I love being able to taste the discrete vegetables, especially the celery. These are definitely a little more expensive than a typical big sack from the frozen section, but you'll notice how much better they are.

It's wayyyy healthier and tastier than any of the other frozen dumplings I can find on the market. We ended up chatting with the owner for a bit, and she was welcoming. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience. We ordered the tomato mozzarella panini and a coffee each. I'll be honest--a tomato mozz sandwich wouldn't normally be my go-to, but it was surprisingly flavorful, light, and still filling (half was enough for me). Everything we had was delicious. There's seating inside.... tables and even a comfy couch--giving it that laid-back, neighborhood vibe. Also appreciated that there's a parking lot, which made things easy. If I'm in the area again and need olive oil (or just a chill spot for a coffee and bite), I'd absolutely stop in again!
