I got to try some at an event and decided to track some more down. You can order them for delivery in the Twin Cities area, or buy them in person at the Brooklyn Park Dragon Star Supermarket. They have specific plans to sell in more locations and at more events, but I'll probably get them delivered again when this order runs out. I always keep my freezer stocked up on dumplings from Asian grocery stores; these are so much better than what I usually buy. They are plump and flavorful, made by hand from very good, very fresh ingredients. I love being able to taste the discrete vegetables, especially the celery. These are definitely a little more expensive than a typical big sack from the frozen section, but you'll notice how much better they are.

It's wayyyy healthier and tastier than any of the other frozen dumplings I can find on the market. My favorite flavor is the shrimp and cabbage, my husband loves the pork and chive, my kids love chicken and organic corn.

The mac n cheese veggrolls had a weird taste that I couldn't identify, but it was a bit tangy, so I dipped them in the sauce and that helped greatly. The pumpkin cinnamon roll up had a pretty strong alcoholic flavor in an unpleasant manner, which might have been the result of vanilla. I couldn't identify the actual ingredients because the item on the menu just said "a sweet rolled focaccia w/ a drizzle" which was ambiguous. My partner and I enjoyed Hi! Quesadilla the most, and having salsa verde on the side helped greatly. The hazelnut cheese was an interesting experience and we liked it as well as an alternative option to eat the quesadillas with. Per my understanding, this establishment will close soon, which I am a bit sad about because I highly support vegan places, but I do think that the food, at least the items I had ordered, needs some improvement.

There was one guy working the kitchen and the counter, while there was another lady on the bubble tea side. I thought that was strange as it all looked like one business. I started to notice that the people standing around were all waiting for food. Well it took 20 minutes for my noodle to appear. So much for a quick lunch. Apparently because of their receipt print out not being available, there was another customer who mistook my Khao Poo with his. Well I showed him my receipt and he backed off. After taking the photo though, I dug into it and discovered that the noodles were in a clump, like they were just taken out of the fridge and poured the broth on top without stirring it. Well cold noodles with not boiling broth makes for a lukewarm bowl of noodles. I asked for pig's blood, which I paid extra for and were absent. The rice noodles were overcooked and they started to fall apart in earnest. However, the bowl had a lot of flavor. But the execution and temperature were not on point. Their saving grace was a surprise. Since there wasn't much protein in the noodle bowl, I was still hungry. I went and ordered a Durian Smoothie. The lady confirmed that it was real fruit in the smoothie. Well they were really proud of it: $8.95 for a smoothie!! Well I didn't care. I cannot remember the last time I had a real durian smoothie with real durian. When it came, OMG!! This was insane. I had died and gone to heaven. The broth was not watered down at all and was full of flavor, and the seafood was plentiful and went perfectly with the rice. The only downside to this dish were the banchans, which were overall a bit underwhelming, especially the beansprouts. The seafood pancake was also just okay. It was thick and filled with seafood, but despite eating this right when it was finished cooking, it just wasn't as crispy as I would have liked (a good example of really good seafood pancake is at K-bop near the U of M).
