I highly recommend Tick Tock Locksmith. I have lived in my 1987 Eagan townhouse for 5 years and have always had problems with the locks on my 2 outside doors. I tried to replace them myself but found that the holes on the original doors don't match todays standards. I wasn't about to try to bore new holes by myself so I searched for a locksmith. The 1st one I had come out actually told me I needed to buy a new door because the material of the door could not be drilled into to bore a new hole because it would damage the door. I could tell the guy didn't really know what he was talking about. So I researched Yelp and found Tick Tock with very high reviews. I'm glad I've called Tick Tock locksmith, I've found them here and sent a message to get an estimate, I got a response within 5 minutes. The guy showed up the same day and put a whole new high security lock system in the whole store. When I look at the estimate I made the decision to write a good review for this company. Since all the estimates I've got from other local locksmiths were way more then the price Tick Tock offered me. The guy named Ben explained to me why local companies can afford better service for way cheaper and still be profitable since they don't pay a lot for advertising and they look more for long term clients not just 'hit and run' in his words.. I've had the pleasure of using Tick Tock Locksmith's wonderful service twice now. The first time was when my son locked himself out of his car under a bridge in the pitch blackness. Avi showed up and got in the car in no time at all! The second time was just recently when I broke my key off in a commercial-type condominium door. Avi came out once again and saved the day. Called Tick Tock after reading other reviews by satisfied customers. Was not an emergency call, but needed prompt service. After talking with Avi, we agreed to an end of day service call. Technician arrived as promised and we engaged in a through discussion of the problem and the various options to solve it. Interestingly, I actually learned a couple of things about "today's" locks. Technician departed and within 30 minutes returned with two locks that met the need. Selected one and it was quickly installed. Also, installed a rear door lock that was rekeyed so one key operates both. Just a great experience at a fair price. read more

We had a door lock that was jamming and wanted to change out the locks on both household access doors. We purchased the locks but wanted to ensure they were installed correctly.
