I hired Ticket Crushers to handle my traffic citation and paid their fees upfront with the expectation that they would actively manage my case and keep me informed of any developments. After the initial onboarding email in January 2026, I received zero proactive communication for nearly two months. No updates, no check-ins, nothing. When I finally reached out myself in early March, I was blindsided to learn that a plea offer had apparently been accepted by the court -- resulting in a reduced fine of $279 that was due the very next day (March 6th). I was given less than 24 hours notice about a court-mandated deadline on a case I was paying them to manage. When I raised this concern, the response from the case assistant was essentially that the firm had followed its process and was not at fault. While I understand that courts operate on their own timelines, basic client communication is the bare minimum expectation from a law firm. Being informed of a financial obligation the day before it's due is not acceptable. When I requested a full refund given the poor experience, I was offered only a partial refund -- which I also found inadequate given the circumstances. I came to Ticket Crushers based on strong word-of-mouth recommendations and genuinely wanted this to work. repost as original review was deleted ------ Don't waste your money on these guys. Communication is good until you pay and then it's like pulling teeth to get a response. I was trying to get a ticket reduced to avoid a point and impact on insurance. First they said it was a done deal, then a few weeks later I got a letter from the court saying that the plea was rejected because of the CA Vehicle Code they cited to amend my ticket to DIDN'T EXIST! I called a few times and finally got a response. It was a typo (2 was a 3 in what the court clerk recorded). They would contact the attorney who worked on the case to get it corrected with the court. That was the last time I received a response. Nothing got corrected. Phone calls. Emails to follow up. Crickets. Then months later I got an email where they just cited the denial by the judge. It didn't look like they actually followed up to try and get the CVC cited amended to the correct one. They might be able to help, if they do things right to begin with, but poor attention to detail and only wanting to do the minimum amount of work needed, made Ticket Crushers a waste of time and money for me. Total scam. Got a speeding ticket on i80. They would not tell me likelihood of winning based on evidence I had. I asked for historical success %, they refused. Asked for estimated success %, they refused. So pretty much a pure gamble. I paid the price so you don't have to. They did not request for information regarding my side of the story. All the communication received seemed cookie cutter and not personalized to my situation so of course i received the honor of paying these guys to do nothing. Also, This is my 3rd review. They also constantly flag and take down truthful and negative reviews. Ask yourself how trustworthy is this company if they need to resort to these tactics? We got off to a slightly rocky start in connection with a red-light camera citation, but Ticket Crushers came through (San Mateo County). I could complain about the communications process--this is a challenging area of the law and must be very difficult for the firm. But I cannot fault the results, and we hire and pay professionals, above all, for results. Caution to Yelp users: San Mateo County traffic court used to be in Redwood City but has moved to South San Francisco. I went to Redwood City, fortunately early for the trial date/time, and was able to get to SSF in time. The Court did not advise me of this change of venue and the paper citation clearly stated Redwood City. A word to the wise. read more

They are very poor communicators and disorganized, e.g., they will take your $ up front and fail to follow through. I spoke with Adam Cohen directly @ least 3 times and he said he would email and text me info which never happened. Their lack of action has caused my driver's license to lapse. Honestly Total Scammers!!!! ------ I've used other firms in the past and had real results. Super poor communication with the firm. No clue who represented my case as I wasn't given the information. Who knows if they even had an actual licensed attorney with the CA bar go. I thought it would be a walk in the park for anyone, as it's a simple traffic violation that I wasn't guilty of. It seems to good to be true, it probably is. I hired them to handle my speeding ticket that I felt my speed was justified to avoid on coming traffic. According to them, they could probably get my citation thrown out. I received an email stating that they will contact me when I get a court date and update me with when information arrives. Well I never received any email. I called and spoken to Ricky who asked me that I should have received an email from Emilio in March. I did not receive anything. I sent both of them an email and called Ricky to get an update since I didn't hear from any of them. I called a week later and spoke to Lyle who apologized and said will call me back by close of business. It's been 72 hours and I was left to not just pay the citation, but court fees and processing fees. They have very poor communication. Any negative review for them is Legit. I do not recommend using their services. I would rather just have attended traffic school and be done with it. Two thumbs down! read more

I've never used a service such as this before but I'm extremely glad I found Ticket Crushers! I received a speeding ticket back in February and Ticket Crushers informed me today that it has been dismissed! I worked with Mary and other staff members who kept me updated on the status all along.
