Crab Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Good food and drinks with a beautiful ocean view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Due to the cold overcast weather I started with one of the best Irish coffee's I've had. Cream mixture with crushed almonds, strong coffee and whiskey hit the spot. Probably have been here six times and ordered the wagu steak ,mashed potatoes and asparagus instead of the traditional seafood. Steak was tender, cooked nicely and had a really good mushroom peppercorn cream sauce. Mashed potatoes had bacon, truffle , cheddar and were not my favorite due to overpowering flavor of the truffle oil. Mrs D had the crab Mac and cheese with brussel sprouts. Really satisfying with a fair amount of crab and the right mixture of cheese sauce & slightly undercooked pasta. Sprouts were crunchy and a bit tart, really good.. Service was prompt with a widow table and we missed the lunch rush by arriving when they opened.

I review restaurants with my OAT method: Overall experience - My husband and I had been recommended to check out Tidal Raves and with the many positive reviews we decided to make a reservation for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, they were running behind that night and even with the reservation we made we were not seated for 30 minutes. The place was slammed. Appearance - [[HIGHLIGHT]]We did get a window view of the sunset which was beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Taste - For our appetizer we ordered the tuna tartar. We felt it was a bit odd to have blue corn tortilla chips served with it, but the tuna itself was quite flavorful! I ordered the crab mac and cheese and I was not a big fan of the panko thrown on top. I prefer the crust of mac n cheese to be more golden and cheesy on top. Plus the brussel sprouts they served with them were bland. They had no flavor and were just roasted. Unfortunately my fiancé was also let down by the scallops he ordered. They were overcooked and to our surprise there were only 3. We were hoping to have a great meal celebrating our 3rd night on our honeymoon. Unfortunately we were a little let down.

Table Service ~ ***** [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cliff side view ~ *****[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The best waitress service we have experienced in a long time! She made the entire dining experience awesome! The menu was good ~ Food was fresh and clean tasting. A bit pricey but for the whale watching view it is worth it. Over the top wine list and a couple local beer brews. Don't waste time trying to park restaurants side and cause a jam; street park and walk a little bit. Busy during peak season so reservations are recommended.

This was our first time here. We had an order of steamer clams with a baguette and they were so good we used the bread to soak up the sauce. I ordered the halibut fish and chips and the wife had the oysters. Both were excellent and well plated. The cocktails were a little lacking so maybe keep it simple. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view of the ocean is fantastic and helped enhance the meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

All of the food tasted great. I ate the wagyu burger "not pictured" because it was devoured too quickly, and it was the juiciest, most delicious burger I've ever had. My father had the fish tacos, which he said were fabulous. If I were criticizing something about the food, it would be the portion of dungenous crab on the crab Louie, which I feel was small for the price. In my experience, that is just the amount of crab you get on the Oregon coast. The service was great. It was midweek, and it was not crowded at all. Our server was very polite. She was there when we needed her, and all the servers seemed very attentive. The restaurant's ambiance was my favorite part. The way the restaurant was designed was like you were hanging out over the ocean. We sat in front of a window with a panoramic view of the coastline. I included a picture. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and nice. When we are in the area again, we will definitely be back.

On our latest trip to the coast we decided to give Tidal Raves a try on our never ending quest to find the best seafood in the state. Unfortunately, we will be continuing our search. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The views were top notch[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], but the food was hit and miss. Our shrimp were overcooked and brussel sprouts burnt and mushy. The risotto was the star of the dish bringing lots of needed flavor. The fish and chips had excellent texture, but was left wanting for seasoning. Overall everything was fine, but for their prices we expected a higher quality experience.

    Still here after 20 minutes.

I have been here before and was so excited to come while visiting solo. Unfortunately solo diners do not get much service and it made me very sad. Had a reservation at 7:45 and even saw hostess comment something about having to seat 1‍. Finally sat down at 8:10. Granted they were busy but I am still a paying customer. I don't like to dine alone and this just made it that more awkward. Then my server didn't even acknowledge me for 10 minutes after I sat. She was not very knowledgeable on "what is the best" on the menu. I have been sitting here for 20 minutes finishing my wine and watching g the sunset and my finished plate is still here. I pushed it away from me and told her I was done. I was so excited to enjoy a night out on my own. I am sure the tables of 4 had a fine experience, just not me. Food is delish, had the Lingcod!! However I guess I won't return alone.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Tidal Raves' has an absolutely breathtaking view of the ocean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Accompanied by this view is such friendly staff! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is often busy due to the good service and a beautiful view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is enjoyable, but I have found that it can be a little inconsistent. This might be due to the restaurant being packed and orders not receiving the same amount of care all the time. When the food is good though, it is delicious! The menu also includes a variety of options to choose from. I have yet to find an item I don't enjoy.

So good that we went for dinner twice. Beautiful place on the ocean with great views. Service was okay the first night and outstanding the second (thanks Rory). There were six of us so tried lots of seafood. Halibut, Scallops and Cioppino were outstanding as was chowder.

May 2026 Depoe Bay, Oregon [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wow! Come here for the views. Absolutely gorgeous. Try and get a window seat. However any seat in the house will be beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the seafood Diablo pasta. It had so much seafood from the crab, clams, shrimp, and fish. I had seven or eight clams and they give you a dish to put them in after the clam is removed. I was slightly dismayed in that only three of my clam shells had clams. The rest were in the shell and they were empty. The flavor was slightly spicy, and there was so much food. I had plenty of leftovers. My husband had the herb crusted, lingcod. He had mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts in the dish. The food was divine. The fish was tender. And the entire meal was delicious. For dessert, I had the strawberry rhubarb cobbler. It came with a ginormous scoop of ice cream. The cobbler was served warm and it was so much food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were so pleased with this restaurant. The views were incredible, the food was delicious.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our only complaint is that the hostess had no personality. She ignored us when we came in, dropped us off at our table with the menus and said nothing, then when we left, we said goodbye and she said yup. I think she needs an attitude check from management. Other than our negative encounter with her, this dining experience was darn near perfect. I will give this restaurant 4.9 stars. The small amount was removed because of the hostess.

Raspberry cheesecake. This was the best cheesecake I've ever had. It was so light and fluffy.
    Brandy N.

I just finished going on a whale watching excursion and found this gem for lunch. I had the soup and salad, and the raspberry cheesecake that was simply divine. The cheesecake was so light and fluffy. That was seriously the best I've ever had. The clam chowder was the best I had on my trip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And the view was spectacular.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was good. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in Lincoln City again.

Beautiful view. Intimate atmosphere, classy, modern, and warmth. Every table has an ocean view Even by the bar area, they have counter tops that overseas the ocean. Well designed layout. Parking is very limited, with street parking available. Reservation is highly recommended. Wonderful service, friendly, kind and attentive. We saw the bartender came down just to make sure he understood what the customers' requested from another table. Everything we ordered was delicious and came in large portion. The cocktail shrimp was lightly battered and cooked to the perfection, these shrimps are much bigger than it looks from the photo, I couldn't even finish half of the order. Given I also ordered a green curry. I had to save some room for the main course. Unfortunately, I had to take most of the green curry back, cause I was too full. The Wagyu burger was plentiful, juicy, and tasty. Especially the fries that came with were seasoned very well. The sliced pork appetizer was the only one we were not a big fan of, reason being some of the park were too fatty. Pricing is reasonable, especially for ana coastal restaurant also based off of the quality of the food. Highly recommend by @WineDinenVacay We will return on our next trip to Oregon.

Such a hidden gem. My wife and I asked a shopkeeper for food recommendations and she said to try here. We were very happy with this recommendation. Killer views of the water, delicious food, nice servers, and super reasonable prices made for a truly special experience. My wife and I already said we'd plan to do a staycation in the area at some point and I know we'll definitely make a point to come dine here again. Definitely check this place out if you happen to be in the area.

Appearance - We recommend sitting near the window and you'll get the view of the World's smallest harbor! If you're lucky, like us, maybe you'll get to see a baby sea lion. Taste - I'm a sucker for a delicious grilled cheese. I am quite picky about the cheese, bread, how crispy it is and what not. This one hit the spot! I specifically liked the seasoning (I believe it was parsley) they added to the bread. The tomato soup on the other hand was not my favorite, I tend to prefer more of a tomato bisque because it's creamier. Their's tasted more like vegetable soup. My husband ordered the chicken tender basket and they were nothing to write home about. They were very bready and for 4 pieces it was $17! That felt quite pricey considering it was from the kids menu... yes I know we are adults ordering off the kids menu, but we were just craving some homey meals when traveling on the road. Let me tell you about the popcorn shrimp though.... MMM I liked em! A lot! I'm used to having popcorn shrimp with the tiny, tiny shrimp but I enjoyed this switch up. It included a flavorful chili-lime aioli to dip in as well!

We got the seafood platter as an appetizer and it was so delicious! We got to try a little bit of everything. We were pretty full just off of that but got entrees.
