Unfortunately, customer service is literally non-existent. You can not get them to answer a phone call and the VM is full. They will not answer email, text or Facebook messages. At this point, I'm just hopeful the business still exists and fulfilling orders and the product is as wonderful as my last two pair. I really find it difficult communicate my level of disappointment as I love their products. read more

Love these shoes. So glad that they are still making them. New owners, YES!! But they've learned all they can from the previous (some original owner hand down info) and they're doing a great job keeping these authentic. Slight improvement changes and I love them!! Bought a pair today and plan to But two more. Love the palm trees and probably a 'naked' to stay original. I gotta say though, the screen printed top really helps with grip. I LOVE IT!!! read more

If you grew up in Texas in the 70s, chances are pretty good that your feet were wearing Tiddies. I wasn't and my feet weren't and I'd never heard of Tiddies until I met my husband and his original pair of Tiddies 15 years ago, who had traveled around the world together in the Navy. Unfortunately, that pair of Tiddies finally wore out (ie fell apart) and he was forced to retire them. I searched for years trying to find a replacement and thought they had gone the way of the pet rock and disco. Flash forward to now and hear me sing the praises of the invention of the interwebs. A simple request of The Google and I found my husband's beloved summer footwear just a hop, skip and jump away in Houston. I placed my order on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 6th. I received a confirmation email that my order had shipped by that evening. By the delivery of mail on Friday, July 9th, my husband's feet were wearing Tiddies once again. The only way to have them any faster would be to drive to Houston myself. They're a little more expensive than they were in the 70s - $46.37 with tax and shipping - but the silly grin on my husband's face was totally worth it. Not to mention, these Tiddies have received a NASA upgrade and the tubing is adjustable and 100% replaceable. They say that good trends make a comeback eventually. Being a native of Pasadena Texas, I had the pleasure of wearing these wonderful sandals during my childhood!!! I finally decided to buy my first pair in 20 years and they did NOT disappoint. I've had several people stop me here in Nashville and ask what I was wearing and where did I get them. My feet have never felt more comfortable in a sandal. Recently I went on a trip to Florida and when I came back I happened to glance at the bottom of my tiddies. There was a screw in it. Granted the screw was broken in half, but I had to unscrew it to remove it. These shoes saved me from getting a nasty foot injury! Can't wait to buy another pair in a different color!!! read more

I have been wearing Tiddies sandals since the 1970s. I am so glad that they are still available. I buy a new pair about every two to three years. In fact, I just purchased a new pair and a new set of straps for my old ones. During the warm months in Texas, which is almost year round, I am wearing Tiddies daily. I have probably 8 pairs of old ones in my closet from all different styles and years. These are the absolute best sandals ever! My wife hates them but will not try them. She does not know what she is missing. Quite often I have people stop and ask if those are Tiddies I am wearing. They say they used to have a pair. I always give them the web address and encourage them to buy a new pair. If you want the BEST sandals that are so comfortable and well made that they last for years, look no further. Many of my friends ask me if I am going to be wearing my Tiddies when we go out. Of course the answer is always yes! As long as they keep making Tiddies, I will be, and am, a customer for life! These are *not* the original makers of Tiddies. In the FAQ page they try to redirect from the question and mention that they used to be made in Pasadena (and in Texas City), but the current owners are in no way associated with the original owners. I bought a pair of sandals from them just to judge quality, and they were probably a 7 out of 10 compared to the original Tiddies, but that isn't bad. What's bad is how they try to claim they are the original, and to "accept no falsies" - when they are not the original, and they are falsely alluding to being the original manufacturers. I rate them one star because of the deception. read more

. Believe it not, I still have a pair of Tidies I bought in 1987! I broke my leg so I can wear them anymore, but I sure do miss 'em - they're the best! Mine have surgical tubing rather than the black tubing displayed on the current models - I kinda think the surgical tubing is better. Ok, so someone on here posted a comment that these are not the original owners or the original Tiddies sandals... Well that may be true, but it is not false advertising or deception because the new owner bought the company/brand from the original owners.. Therefore they are associated with the original brand... I had an extensive talk with the owner on the phone and she was very informative and super nice. I bought several pairs and some T-shirts and I couldn't be happier... I am super excited to be wearing my Tiddies around Austin this summer... I am originally from Houston and spent many summers in Galveston wearing these shoes as a child and teenager.
