This is a must for happy hour!! The drink and food soecials are excellent and the food is very fresh. We enjoyed the nachos and margaritas and all were delicious!

This stop never disappoints. I tend to always get the same salad and it's delicious. My husband tried the burger for the first time and the fries which were both spot on! So yummy will always return

Not it. Vibe is cute but birria tacos are not tradition- plus it's just one big taco. Salsa was bland.

Writing my review before even finishing my meal! It is that delicious. I had the carne asada and the shrimp tacos, and both were amazing. The carne asada taco is possibly one of the best tacos I've ever eaten in my entire life. There were so many layers of flavor and each bite was an experience of its own.

I love this place. The food is elevated from your normal Mexican place. The margaritas are homemade. The steak on the nachos is so tender, juicy and flavorful. The nachos are one of my favorite dishes here. I also love the patatas bravas. The potatoes are fried super crispy and taste so good. The service has always been super friendly. And then I usually enjoy sitting outside to enjoy fresh air but inside is just as nice.

Amazing experience on every level! We stopped by for happy hour.....the service was exceptional-- thank you, Riley! Great recommendations! We enjoyed the Prickly Pear Margarita and Blood Orange Margarita-- Wow! Hard to decide which was the best.... We also ordered the special Duck Taco and Big Eye Tuna Aguachile-- both amazing! The flavors were fresh and fantastic! We also had an incredible Mezcal tasting experience-- thanks to Peyton! They went above and beyond in service, cuisine, and cocktails! We are looking forward to our next visit!

We stumbled upon Tierra Al mar while looking for someplace to eat in Mt Pleasant and we're so glad we found them! The food, the service were 5 stars for sure. We had the pastor tacos, chicken tacos, chips and salsa and the Mexican rice. No complaints on any of the food. They were absolutely delicious and full of so much flavor. The waiter was awesome - so friendly and informative. The 4 stars are only because we weren't able to be seated inside due to it being so small and they didn't have high top high chairs for our son available (they do have them but they were in use) other than that, absolutely recommend if you're in the area!!

Meh. Food was just okay and very limited indoor seating options. Our quest for decent Mexican food in Charleston continues....

Salsa was out of this world. Barbacoa was flavorful and seared to add flavor! Best Mex in a long time.

We had A LOT of questions but our server was very helpful in explaining some of the dishes but more importantly the pictures helped greatly. The passionfruit and spicy marg were both delicious. We all tried something different when it came to the food so we could share. The trio empanadas were banging! Crispy outside and filling inside was tasty accompanied by 2 dipping sauces. You got one cheese, chicken and beef unless specified. My friend and I shared the "Max dog" which was topped with fried potato sticks, mozzarella cheese, pulled chicken, pulled beef and corn mixed in their house made tártara sauce, smoked bacon, and house made pineapple sauce. It was an epic hotdog for sure, a bit hard to eat so we had to break it down a bit lol it had a lot of textures and flavors. The mozzarella kind of fell off since it got hard so I really didn't eat it with the hot dog and enjoyed it as is. We also got a chicharrona arepa which was a Colombian Arepa (corn flat bread), pulled beef, chicharron (fried pork belly), sweet plantain, mozzarella cheese house made tártara sauce. If you haven't had an arepa it's a must try! If you love corn and protein then you will enjoy the maiz Bonito which was a bed of corn, layered with grilled chicken, gilled steak, smoked bacon, potato sticks, colombian sausage, mozarella cheese, tártara sauce, pineapple sauce. The pineapple sauce is delicious and helps cut through all the savoriness that can be a bit overwhelming. Lastly my friend also had the chuleta which was a t bone steak grilled and topped with chimichurri. The only thing I will say with the service was that we didn't see our server after the entrees were dropped and had a hard time finding her when we were trying to get boxes and pay. Eventually someone else assisted us and found her but it was quite a delay towards the end. Overall we did enjoy our experience here with this cuisine and I actually came back not too long after with a different group of friends. I do think the pace of service can improve as a whole.

Last night I placed a large order: burrito de birria, two tamales, pozole, large bag of chips , guacamole, drinks . After driving 30 minutes back to my hotel, I opened the bag to find the tamales were completely missing. Then I tried the pozole, and it was so salty it was absolutely inedible. On top of that, they didn't include a single condiment--just a bland, overly salty soup. I tried calling for 30 minutes straight--no answer. Left a voicemail--no call back. Not that night, not the next morning. Completely ignored. The next day, I went in person to give them a chance to make it right. I had my order number and explained everything clearly. Instead of even attempting to help, they refused to do anything without a physical receipt. No effort to look up the order, no accountability, no customer care. Just excuses. Expecting someone to drive 30 minutes back with uneaten food just to prove a mistake is ridiculous. I ended up having to go to Wendy's just to eat dinner after spending money here--that alone says everything. Mistakes happen, but the way a business handles them is what matters. This place clearly doesn't care once they have your money. This wasn't my first issue here, but it will definitely be my last.

Pollo Loko - North Charleston, SC…read more The wife and I stopped into Pollo Loko for a quick lunch, not expecting much... and wow, what a surprise this place turned out to be. First off, the customer service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel appreciated from the moment we walked in. You don't always get that kind of attention these days, so it really stood out. The restaurant itself was spotless, well-kept, and had a great vibe. You can tell they take pride in the place. Now let's talk about the food -- because this is where they really shine. We started with the empanadas, which were absolutely delicious -- fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick things off. For our main, we ordered the Peruvian chicken, served with fries and rice, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and paired incredibly well with their signature sauces -- seriously, those sauces take everything to another level. Even the salad was fresh and tasty, which says a lot because that's usually an afterthought at most places. On top of that, they've got a great selection of sodas and other drinks, making it a perfect stop for a casual lunch. Bottom line: An unexpected gem with amazing food, top-tier service, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. **Highly recommend -- 5 stars, 3 thumbs up from us.

This is a fast casual style restaurant and not a real fancy place. My picky colleague who's never had peruvian ordered the ribs. Quesadiladas - you get 2 in an order and these are different than Mexican ones since they have grilled bell peppers and onions. A bit pricy too...the rice and beans that come with this are just average. They only had 2 salsas for the table, a green ranch like one and a red spicy one similar to a spicy Mexican red sauce. I'm still looking for a peruvian restaurant that has the spicy green sauce that most all peruvian restaurants have in California.
