Step up to order, there is a great picture menu at the drive-thru.

One of the prettiest cafes I have been in, very artsy and lots of bright light! The baked goods are all baked in house and they're amazing. I highly recommend that Churro muffin! It's still fairly new, and they were still training barista, so it was a little slow in us getting our coffees, but the staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Tried the new Tierra Mia in Oceanside and loved it! I ordered the horchata latte with oat milk and a blueberry muffin - both were delicious. There's a drive-thru, but I walked in since there was a line, and service was super quick! The menu is broad, so whether you're a coffee connoisseur or new to coffee, there's something for everyone to enjoy. There's also lots of seating if you plan to stay around, hang with friends, or get some work done!

First time trying this spot and I ordered the banana iced latte matcha. To be honest it wasn't my favorite, it tasted very artificial and I should've tried an iced coffee instead. Their drinks sound and look tasty so I definitely want to return to give it another shot. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy your drink at this location, it's very spacious and clean.

    Coco Loco Latte.

I thought the Coco Loco Latte was good, It was a little sweeter than I prefer. Next time I will see if I can order it half sweet, or maybe add an extra shot. It was my first visit here. The service was fast and friendly and I love that they have a drive through as well. Will be back to try another drink!

I was excited to see that this place opened up right off the 5. Great location and lots of seating inside. We tried the iced banana latte and the passion fruit mango blended fresca. The latte was pretty good but a little too sweet for me. But the Fresca was so yummy, the perfect summer drink.

This place caught my eye because of the huge lines it amasses every single day, which does unfortunately cause mission Avenue to back up into one lane only. I decided to come by on a weekday early afternoon to miss the crowds, there's a good amount of parking directly behind the building. I got the iced Horchata latte, with half the sugar. The half sugar was a good call because it was delicious and pretty much exactly what I was hoping for. Yummy cinnamon Horchata flavor mixed with espresso . If I had gone for full sugar, it probably would've been way too sweet. The interior is bright and there's lots of little tables where you can sit and take a rest. There's also a handful of tables out front with umbrellas, which is where we sat. Staff was friendly and answered our questions. Overall, really enjoyed the coffee and would love to come back soon.

My family loved the coffee -hot mocha and iced latte-but the ice chai was horrible-it seems that places that have great coffee don't know how to make chai

Best Mexican moka I have had in a very long time. I am literally writing this from Tierra Mia in beautiful Oceanside. It is such a beautiful and huge space and it is also drive through! The have a huge communal table which I assume acts as some sort of co-working space. Super cool mid area with few places to sit and, in my opinion, nice decor but space could be more exploited toward the end but I guess is nice not to interfere with people coming and going to the restrooms. Beautiful vibes, really nice faux leather chairs, very comfortable. Such and elegant yet casual look and it seems they open until late at night. I wish I lived closer! The pink walls has photo exhibit of the places where they source their coffee. Music is a bit too loud for my taste, more melodious would be more pleasant. Outside they also have seating area with umbrellas. All great here.

This Latin-inspired coffee shop opened up about 4 months ago (replaced the Burger King). You can't help but notice it on Mission especially when the drive-thru is busy. Gotta loove the café and drive-thru concept! Instead of using the drive-thru, I wanted to go inside. I'm sure glad I did. It's spacious with pictures of both communal and farming aspects of coffee as well as plenty of seating creating a productive but yet peaceful atmosphere...a plus for teleworking. Staff are suuuper friendly and have greaaat customer service skills. When I received the more traditional Caramel Macchiato, I enjoyed it immensely. I just looove flavorful coffee with a touch of sweetness. It's truuue...the best coffee does come from Tierra Mia. l'll definitely be back to "My Land"! I highly recommend Tierra Mia Coffee to the Yelp Community :-)

I took the photo after a few sips. It was up to the top. Café Cubana con Lech

This place was great! The inside area is super cool and there's so much space to hang out with friends or get some work done. I tried the Coco Loco latte and loved it. I love coconut lattes this time of year! My boyfriend tried the Horchata cold brew and said it was amazing. The butter croissant ($3.75) was good and a pretty decent size! Definitely will be coming back. It even has a drive through!

Lavender latte and tres leches muffin
    Araceli P.

This coffee place is really delicious! It's worth it if you enjoy flavorful drinks. They definitely don't give you the strong espresso taste in the drinks, but I was happy with the lavender latte with white mocha that I ordered. I also ordered a tres leches muffin that was a nice size if you're ever craving tres leches cake. I got to taste a little of my family's Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte and Chocolate Mexicano Frappe, both tasty as well! I went through the drive-through around 2 pm and there were only a couple of cars in front of me. Service was fast and friendly. I'd say don't skip your homemade morning coffee, as nothing beats that, but this is a tasty coffee spot. I would recommend trying it out.

TIERRA MIA COFFEE This popular Mexican coffee shop has expanded into San Diego and their first stop is Oceanside California. First off, I like their overall branding & the concept behind what they mean to coffee. However, I was overall disappointed in my experience, in that, I thought they were going to bring something unique. I was looking for the use of Housemade ingredients, pastries made in-house and most importantly, cultural food. There is no food. No tortas or cubanos or even a Caesar Salad (originated in Mexico) Or anything of substance. Instead, there's just sweet pastries which are shipped down daily from their bakery up north. So, because they lack "food", I can't even make a direct comparison between them and call them a "Mexican Starbucks". They still will shine in this location and their Drive-Thru will meet the needs of many who desire some sweets on-the-go and especially for those commuting on the i5 hwy to San Diego or San Clemente. Their interior is cute and filled with cultural decor and I love the paintings. The music threw me for a loop... because they were playing Wu-Tang & ODB at one point in time... Customer service is on-point, fast & friendly at the counter & drive-thru. Where they are lacking is inside & I never saw anyone cleaning tables or messes (over a 3 hour timespan). Their bathroom situation was just a tad concerning to me. But i let management know what was going on. They have 2 gender neutral bathrooms, which are typically cool. They use a "grab the key" method of access. My concern is when customers use the bathroom and then keep the key, but keep the door open/unlocked for the next customer. There's multiple stalls inside. But I've seen a woman go inside and then a man follow behind her... So people NEED to make sure that they are getting the keys for the door and locking it behind themselves. Overall, I like what they represent to the area and I'll definitely take them over Starbucks, Better Buzz or Dutch Bros. But I'd prefer to support a smaller brand instead.

Mike and the entire team at Dreamwave are doing such an incredible job of making the experience worth every penny. The quality of the coffee, the work they do, and the service they provide is truly top tier. While they do have a lot of fun flavors, this is not the kind of place that drowns the palate with sweetness. They expertly balance the ratio of syrup, milk, and espresso to provide the best outcome. The nuttiness of their roast really shines, and they're always happy to adjust the sweetness if you need them to. Personally, I love the lower sweetness level being the default. These guys know what they're doing! We've been visiting for the past week and have stopped through Dreamwave four times this week. While I'm always in the need of a coffee fix, we've gone out of our way to visit multiple times because the people have been so beyond kind. We've sampled most of the house flavors and I can confidently say they have all been delicious. This would definitely be my go-to shop if I lived nearby.

The first time we went, we ordered Cafe de la Olla and La Morena- both with oat milk and I asked them to double check the syrups did not contain dairy. I asked again if the syrups contained any dairy and was told no. We ordered again with oat milk. On the second visit, my husband had stomach problems and I suspect dairy was somehow inadvertently used. On the third visit, I thought it may have been a fluke, my husband getting sick and so we ordered what we had the first time but this time I got sick. So, I'm not sure if there is dairy in the syrup or if they accidentally used cow milk in our lattes. Too bad too, because the flavors were tasty. We also appreciated the donuts from Doughside Donuts. I'm just not sure we will be ordered coffee from here anymore. The entry is really cute and you automatically see the variety of plants. They sell some jewelry and plant/Mexican pastry merchandise. Service was friendly but parking is not so great, especially when they are busy. Street parking only and it can be slim, especially on street sweep days. Cute shop but be weary if staying away from dairy.
