One of my coworkers used to rave about the coffee here. I finally got to try it! We visited three times in a 2-week span. The first time we went, we ordered Cafe de la Olla and La Morena- both with oat milk and I asked them to double check the syrups did not contain dairy. I was told all was good so we enjoyed our lattes and our daughters shared a hibiscus refresher. On our second and third visit we ordered again, La Morena and one other latte. I asked again if the syrups contained any dairy and was told no. We ordered again with oat milk. On the second visit, my husband had stomach problems and I suspect dairy was somehow inadvertently used. On the third visit, I thought it may have been a fluke, my husband getting sick and so we ordered what we had the first time but this time I got sick. So, I'm not sure if there is dairy in the syrup or if they accidentally used cow milk in our lattes. Too bad too, because the flavors were tasty. We also appreciated the donuts from Doughside Donuts. I'm just not sure we will be ordered coffee from here anymore. The entry is really cute and you automatically see the variety of plants. They sell some jewelry and plant/Mexican pastry merchandise. Service was friendly but parking is not so great, especially when they are busy. Street parking only and it can be slim, especially on street sweep days. Plantology has been on my list for a long time, so I was so happy to finally get to go! As soon as we walked in, we could place our order and explore their plants for sale while we wanted for coffee and baked goods/food. I ordered La Morena latte and a croissant and my husband had the mocha with an everything bagel and cream cheese. We both loved our drinks but I was obsessed with La Morena. So good! Found this gem of a coffee shop in Oceanside Cali while exploring a bit in the area. What stuck out to me first was the mushroom coffee/matcha options, their menu was something unique for a coffee shop and both my drink and my husband's drink was delectable. I got a Chaga matcha drink that was featured and my husband got a dirty chai. I like that the drinks weren't very sweet as the standard, but you can always add more sweetness to make it to your liking! The drinks came out fast and the barista's were very friendly. The relaxing and fresh atmosphere made it very easy to work on schoolwork and just enjoy slowing down and enjoying life a bit more. Would recommend giving it a visit if your in the area read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! When my friends and I go on hot girl walks, we come here! The coffee shop has so much to offer. The drinks are adventurous and delicious. The paninis are fire. The donuts/pastries are delicious. PLUS it's also a cute little plant shop! There are so many different plants that are beautiful to peruse. There was an outdoor section with what looked like rehab plants and succulents, while indoors there were the tropicals and a couple tables to sit. I was on a hunt for a smaller coffee shop where I could do some work and since I live 15 minutes from downtown Oceanside, I decided to go to plantology cafe. I had heard from numerous friends that I needed to check this place out and since coming back to California, I made it a goal. The place is small but so welcoming by not only the staff but the by the house plants they have in the shop. I ordered the mazapan latte and I've ordered this type of drink at other places and always worry it will be on the sweeter side, but the one at this location what the perfect balance.
