Iced Matcha Latte with Vanilla and Salted Honey Cold Foam
    Olivia E.

If you're looking for a great matcha in Oceanside, this is the place! I ordered the iced vanilla matcha latte with the salted honey cold foam, and it was absolutely delicious. I've tried matcha from so many coffee shops around Oceanside, and this is easily one of my favorites. The matcha is smooth, flavorful and perfectly balanced, and the salted honey cold foam takes it to the next level. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in Oceanside!

Found this coffee shop on Yelp while i was in the neighborhood for an appoointment. The Bound Coffee shop has a modern and stylish vibe, has a clean and contemporary interior. Its a small place so not that much seating is available inside. Outdoor seating is also limited with just a couple of tables. The coffee was good (I had a latte), and the service was perfectly fine. However, the food prices are quite steep for a coffee shop. My lox bagel was $17.50, which felt high for the setting. I'd definitely come back for the coffee or a quick pastry, but I'll probably skip the full food menu next time.

Just moved the kids to Oceanside, staying the week...I've been here three times now. Love this place already! Three different drinks, all good, but the Chai was my fave: yum yum yum. Also had the blueberry muffin, the everything bagel and the enormous breakfast burrito. All VERY good! Yummy salsas too. Go! You won't be disappointed, I don't think. Cute place and kind people, to boot!

Delicious house made sourdough bagels and lattes! Best food we've had at a coffee shop in a while. The guava tart was also delicious, more savory and buttery with little filling. The strawberry bergamot scone was good at first, but the copious frosting made it too sweet about halfway through. Black coffee is usually what I like with pastries, but their black coffee was a bit too acidic for me. I was able to exchange for a latte without any issue. Parking was completely full in the shared lot. They have a very limited number of retail spaces in the shared building. However, there is plenty of street parking within a block.

My husband and I were driving by and finally decided to stop by and try their matcha/coffees. It was a little awkward trying to order as we were the only ones ordering and all the baristas were huddled together chatting instead of acknowledging us. When we did get service I asked if I could add a syrup to an iced matcha and they responded that they don't typically do that but they could. So I did ask for salted caramel in my iced matcha. My husband just ordered a plain iced latte. I really enjoyed my matcha as it was prepared correctly as a tea latte. I will say there was no sweetness to it and no salted caramel taste. No biggie because I drink plain matcha daily, just wanted to spruce it up since I was ordering it from a cafe. Oh well. My husband loved his latte! The espresso itself was so smooth. Definitely worth an order. We would go back for the drinks again and would just know the customer service isn't always welcoming or kind.

I'm testing a new theory...and it's that anyone who is willing to invest in a Slayer espresso machine, they care a lot about their beans. So stop two on my Slayer-theory tour is Bound Coffee Company. And so far, my theory is testing true. Bound has a very clean looking operation and I was in and out of there pretty quickly. Not sure what beans they're using but the espresso was excellent and shows that they take care in what they're serving. They're tucked into a little group of businesses off of PCH but easy enough to navigate. If you're in the area and need a little pick-me-up, you can't go wrong with Bound Coffee.

Cute spot. In the plaza across from Angelo's burgers on Coast highway. Very cool vibe, Greta service, delicious coffee very strong and I usually don't do sugar and wanted a bit fo sugar and cold foam to make it less strong. Which isn't bad thing at all Sea salt cold foam with their cold brew brings out the sweetness of the coffee and it was very good, different at first but then it grew on me in a good way Parking is a bit strange but besides that, great outdoor/indoor seating, fun music playing, prices are good, and their bagels are delicious crunchy outside with a soft inside. They have cute little things for sale when you first walk in and next to the register. Will be coming back to try their plain bagel because they ran out by the time I got there. Overall enjoyable

I ordered a vanilla latte and it was delicious. The place is clean with a simple layout. I wouldn't recommend staying long since it is a small area and although it has some seating options, it can fill up quickly. The service was great, when me and my friends ordered, the lady would elaborate when asked about the drinks and food. If you ask for the drinks for there they will bring it out in a mug, so keep this in mind if you ever want it in a to go cup.

3 stars because the coffee is amazing, BUT service here has gone way downhill and gotten even slower as they have increased their offerings including offering more varied food. The ambience is cozy and probably needs expansion for seating/waiting because it takes a long time for your drinks and food. Also I have noticed that the staff has changed a lot over the years, and not for the better. The young ladies running the cashiers lately are actually rude and unfriendly. Honestly this used to be my go to spot for lattes for as long as they have been open (yes I have been visiting regularly since the very beginning) but recently the baristas are not as friendly and no one (including the owners) ever remembers me despite my many years of supporting their business. Note- I do see the owners and baristas talking to other patrons often, which makes me sad that I am still a stranger here. So for me, I will not be visiting as often. I held off leaving this review for the past year but it needs to be posted after a less than awesome experience today. Other coffee spots in the area are much much friendlier, have comparable coffee, and actually remember me even though I don't frequent their places as much. I know the owners care about their business but the slow and unfriendly service will catch up with the crowds that seem to be putting up with it for now. I hope they change back to putting friendliness ahead of menu variety.

The esthetic is really nice and as good as the coffee. It looks like they have seasonal offering that changes with the four seasons of the year. For spring seasonal I had a pistachio latte. I really liked what I can only assume is their in house syrup. Think Starbucks pistachio latte, but two times better. This coffee place is for those who don't do Starbucks. Vanilla flat white was just as good. I would say Carlsbad for coffee this place is a must stop.

Hiya B.U.M.S., Let's…read moreget something out of the way first: I don't like coffee. I know, I know. It's a latte to take in. My wife, on the other hand, is a total caffeine fiend. But here's the kicker--she orders her coffee plain, simple, and black. To me? It tastes exactly like every other coffee in the world. (Don't bean me, it's just the truth!) Despite my lack of enthusiasm for bean water, we recently checked out Revolution Roasters, and I figured it was time to espresso my thoughts on the place. Spoiler alert: It was a pretty brew-tiful experience. Since I'm not a coffee guy, I let my wife handle the beverage department. She ordered an Iced Cold Brew and gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up. She said it was really good, which means Revolution Roasters is definitely doing something right to keep the coffee purists happy. Now, onto my territory, the White Chocolate Scone was a hit with the wife because it wasn't too sweet. If you prefer your pastries without a side of sugar shock, this is the one for you. However, full disclosure: if you're standing there debating between this scone and the savory pot pie from the shop right across the way... I'm going with the pot pie. Sorry, scone. I also ordered the Berry & Cream Cheese Toast, which was the real MVP. Again, it wasn't overly sweet, and they nailed the ratio. There was a perfectly even, generous spread of cream cheese and berry topping. Highly recommend! Revolution Roasters is located in a super cool, market-style space filled with other neat little shops. It makes for a great, lively atmosphere. When we walked in, the line was pretty long--clearly, the secret is out. But don't let a crowd deter you! The service was incredibly smooth and helpful, and they've got the operation down to a science. Plus, despite the crowd, there was actually adequate seating for a ton of people. We didn't have to play the awkward "hover around a table until someone leaves" game. While the vibes are immaculate, there is one tiny logistical hurdle. For a coffee shop that gets this busy, there is only one bathroom. If you've just downed a large iced brew, you might have to practice some patience. All in all, Revolution Roasters ground its way into our good graces. Between the smooth service, the cool market atmosphere, and food that hits the spot, I could definitely see us filtering back in here again soon. Whether you love coffee or you're just there for the toast, it's well worth a visit!

Right off of Vista Way in Oceanside. Scored a spot right in front...must've been kismit! They have the regular coffees but also some signature drinks as well. But it looks like there's some seasonal coffees too. Friendly hello when it was my turn. Me: So what do you think, butterscotch or pistachio? He: I would say pistachio because sometimes the butterscotch is too sweet for some. Pistachio it was! So definitely inquire about the seasonal coffees because this was delicious! Great flavor and dark chocolate shavings on top. This helped keep me awake on my long drive home! Love that they're local! Also bought The Colores blend which they happily ground for me, and it is really good! Mellow flavor with a hint of dark chocolate finish. I now have a great spot to stop at if in the area and in need. They have great outdoor seating that's dog friendly, and a nice dining area.

Coffee 10/10 We ordered their vanilla latte with marshmallow cold foam and their coconut latte with toasted coconut cold foam. Both were incredible! The vanilla latte was not too sweet so the cold foam wasn't overkill at all. Both cold foams are more on the runny side and not too thick. The coconut latte was sooo tasteful. The coconut flavor definitely comes through. This was our first time trying a coconut latte and we were not disappointed. Food 9/10 We didn't order much food or pastries since we had breakfast prior but the pastries did look so good! We did get a salted shortbread to try and it was pretty solid. Vibes/Ambiance : 7/10 We came on a Tuesday morning and it was busy. The space is very spacious and there's plenty of seating area. There were people working there and hanging out. It's an open space so that was nice. The decor is minimal but cute. The staff is okay...I don't know if I'd describe as friendly, but they weren't rude. Not sure if it was the city as a whole but we didn't really feel welcomed or came across too many friendly people. It was the same here. Didn't interact much with us...just took our order and kept it pushing. lol not necessarily a bad thing but it was something we experienced a lot. Overall, the coffee was amazing here.
