*Note: TDLR at the end of the review Chocolate Mexicano: 9/10 Honestly can never go wrong with the Mexican hot chocolate. Came out hot and was rich. Hits the spot on a cold night. Service: 8/10 They were super nice and they made my drink pretty quick, even with the fat drive thru line. Ambiance: 8/10 The inside is pretty clean and theres outlets here and there. A pretty good study spot. It's in a decent sized lot so I had no trouble finding parking. Can get a bit noisy when there's big groups, great lighting, and gets chilly inside so bring a sweater. TDLR: Great study spot! One of the nicest Tierra Mias I've been to. I think it has low ratings because most people reviewing are drive-thru customers. Besides that, drinks are consistent with every other Tierra Mia I've been to, service is good, restrooms are clean, easy parking, outlets here and there, bring a sweater and headphones.

This Tierra Mia spot is a bit of a mixed experience imo, but overall still a solid spot. I'll start with the good: the drinks are really good and consistently flavorful, whether you're getting a coffee, latte, or something sweeter. You can tell they always nail that. The environment is also clean and well-kept, which makes for a nice place to sit and enjoy your drink/study. That being said, there are some downsides. The wait can be pretty long, especially during busy hours, and there have been times when orders tend to take much longer than expected. Occasionally, orders get forgotten or mixed up, which can be frustrating when you've already waited a while. I would say iff you're not in a rush and you're mainly there for the taste of the drinks, it's worth it. Just be prepared for mishaps.

This location has a spacious interior that is usually clean and comfortable. They also have a nice-sized patio for anyone who prefers to sit outside. In my experience, the drinks are on point about 90% of the time. I have had a watered-down drink once or twice, but overall they are consistently good. The pastries are definitely worth mentioning. I've tried the churro muffin, banana muffin, tres leches muffin, and chocolate croissant, and all of them have been delicious. As for the staff, most interactions have been neutral--never rude, but not especially warm or welcoming either. Today, I stopped by during my break because my team needed a pick-me-up, so we decided on Tierra Mia. I ordered five muffins. Normally they ask if you'd like them warmed up, but this time they didn't, and it slipped my mind to mention it. When I got back to work, I realized one muffin was missing even though I had been charged for it, so I had to drive back. When I returned, I also ordered another coffee and mentioned that I was there to pick up the churro muffin I had paid for but never received. Once I got to the window and received my drink, I had to remind the employee again about the muffin before leaving. Mistakes happen, so that part wasn't the issue--it was the lack of professionalism afterward. There was no acknowledgment or apology, and the employee seemed more inconvenienced than concerned about correcting the mistake. It also appeared that the ongoing conversation among the staff was getting more attention than the customers. Overall, I still enjoy this location for the drinks and pastries, but customer service and attention to detail could definitely be improved.

Visited Tierra Mia Coffee with the fam and it was a 1st time for me visiting this LA chain coffee shop. Tierra Mia means my land in Spanish and their slogan on the wall means "The best coffee comes from my land." Their quality coffee beans is from Latin America and other regions. The shop was busy on a summer Friday afternoon and we were able to park in their lot with several available spaces. They are located across the street from a high school and actually in close walking distance from a Starbucks. The cashier and order taker was friendly but uncertain about which beverages are available in decaf and had to check w/her supervisor. It was maybe 10 minutes or so to make 4 of our beverages and the batista called out our order. The hubby got a cold Chai latte which was oddly made, not mixed well. Nephew got a hot Cuban coffee which he thought was good. Nephew's girlfriend got a cold mocha drink that she enjoyed. My simple hot decaf was A-OK. I did like my cheese roll though. The ambience is lovely with the clean look in the seating area, lighting, and high ceilings. Tierra Mia kinda gives me the style over substance vibe. Would try a different location if I was around one. Just 3 stars!

I need of some caffeine! I'm excited to see how this goes!

Coffee got me through! I enjoy not giving money to corporations because of shops like this! Great service and ambience!

4/2/25 Hubby needed a pick me up & the one that's convenient was this location. It does not compare to his Cal State LA location in terms of taste or customer service. The drive thru looked busy so we walk in, two sets of patrons seated inside. The employee at the cashier was courteous & asked, "Hi, how may I help you?" Hubby orders his usual oat milk latte & hands her his cup with hot water in it (to keep the latte hot, longer). She says, "Sorry we don't do that" & he says, "Yes, you do & I have this done prior, many times". Sheepishly she obliges. I wish I was paying attention instead of taking photos. I would've LMAO. What coffee shop discourages using your own container? The beverage was ready in a timely manner. The environs is aesthetically pleasing with high ceilings, music is not to loud. Plenty of seating indoors & outdoors (except it's not a covered patio). It's a neat place to enjoy your beverage & pastries. Hubby's oat milk latte is mediocre, lacking depth in richness or flavor. It was alright. Did not get the tres leches muffin this time, that would've been so good warmed. It could be a hit or miss.

Maybe I went on a bad day... My first drink had plastics inside the cup, like 5-6 pieces. When I went through the drive through, I showed the lady that gave me my drink the plastics I had to cough up and said she's never seen that type of packaging before. I asked if she could ask the baristas and they noticed it's from the matcha packaging. And they didn't even say sorry. They didn't even offer to make me a new drink, I had to actually ask for it. I'm not sure if the employees should be trained on customer service or how to keep plastics out of drinks more :/ Anywho, I order another type of drink without matcha (bc I didn't want to consume more plastic as I had a piece literally still stuck in my throat). And the drink was not great. I'll stick to the Tierra Mia on Garfield.

Excellent coffees with excellent service , I truly love the selection of their coffees cold or hot !

I've been coming here for a while and have always had great service, which is why today was so disappointing. After I got my order, I asked for napkins. One of the employees closed the window while I was mid-sentence, so I assumed she was going to grab them. I waited at the window for about 4 minutes, and during that time, Alexa, Brittany, and Arlene all saw me standing there multiple times--but no one came back or even acknowledged me. When I finally spoke up again, I mentioned how rude it felt to be ignored like that. It honestly wasn't about the napkins--it was about being treated like I didn't matter. I'm really disappointed because this isn't the kind of service I'm used to here. I hope this gets addressed so no one else has the same experience. 04/09 7:33am ticket D7

I was so happy to know that PARAMOUNT TM finally opened its doors after sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long. The decor, aesthetic, and interior design is beautiful! I love that our community finally has a Tierra Mia. I don't need to leave my house 30 mins early to go to the LB location before work anymore! However, I recommend if you're stopping by before work, to still give yourself 30 mins because it does get busy! I waited 20 mins on opening day for my small horchata latte. No, you cannot order ahead. To the youngsters working here- please remember, customer service should always be superior.

New establishment, customer service needs BIG HELP. At first I was like it's easy going. Cashier just stares at you until you say something, no what can I get you, hi, no acknowledgment, I'm the type who doesn't just walk up and say my order, I have no clue if they're ready for it or not, so some type of communication would be nice. After I originally ordered and tried my daughters chocolate croissant and tried it, it was good so I went to order more pastries and the cashier was in the back, other employees saw me standing there a good 3mins at the register, no one said anything, so I went to wait for my drinks instead of buying more. Another customer walked in, they said "hi welcome"and cashier instantly appeared, so I went back in line to place my order. I got the horchata frappe, taste just like it always has from other locations Daughter got chocolate croissant and kids hot chocolate, croissant was good. Theirs are soft instead of crunchy and flaky. The hot chocolate had no chocolate taste. It was literally warm milk. Think I'll stick with Starbucks until they can figure their issues out.

Venue: beautiful, clean, and spacious with plenty of seating for families and friends to gather comfortably. It's conveniently located inside a shopping center with lots of parking available, which made our visit even easier. Ambiance: We absolutely loved the ambiance! The mariachi music playing in the background truly brought the whole experience together and perfectly represented the spirit and name of the location. Food: everything was fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced in flavor without being overly sweet. We ordered the chocolate croissant, Abuelita's rosca, elote fino, and a fried pulled pork empanada with green sauce. Every item was flavorful and satisfying. The café de olla was warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweet. Overall, my family and I had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be returning for more pan dulce, delicious food, and maybe even try one of the cold brews next time. Highly recommend!

After requesting to place an order for a cake I would need the next day the staff was more than happy to accept my order. Originally, I would have liked to order a carrot cake but those cakes need to be ordered at least a week in advance so that was very much my fault. I ended up going with a classic tres leches cake which tasted wonderful. Miriam was the one to help me out. Bonus points for having the same name ;) Miriam made great detailed questions to make sure the cake was exactly what I wanted it to be referencing off a picture I had showed her as inspiration. From size all the way down to the smallest details, Miriam disclosed information about how certain designs or details I wanted would change the presentation of the cake, and made sure I was delightlfuly satisfied with what would be the result. She broke down every last detail including how the icing would likely stain our mouths and very nicely reassured me that it would rise right off with water swishes. Overall I was incredibly satisfied with the service I was given, and I greatly appreciate how Miriam thought about every question in order to complete my desired vision.
