I normally get a strawberry macha latte, chocolate mexicano frappe or the mocha Mexicano and for pastries I highly recommend all tres leche muffins or churro muffin, can't also go wrong with the guava w/cheese and the banana walnut. A lot of my family members also like the horchata frappe so if you ever come across a Tierra Mia please do yourself a favor and try this amazing place and their service is always excellent! read more

The drinks are okay. My pumpkin spice latte doesn't taste like pumpkin and the horchata frapp tastes like nothing. Their Drive thru is super duper slow. They need more capable personnel who can make good drinks and can keep up with the pace. I hate to compare but I kinda have to; Starbucks baristas are much faster and courteous. I wish management would read these reviews. I will not be coming here again. I'll stick to the Tierra Mia on Atlantic and Firestone, they're much faster and the drinks are on point. read more

Drive thru line can be ridiculously long at times, but just know that it passes quickly, so most of the time, you won't wait for too long. Sometimes it's a lot easier to go inside as parking in this plaza is ample. My absolute favorite item is the tres leches muffin, but the coffee here is amazing, very good quality. Muffins & pastries are very great !!! Drinks are the best !!! But they LACK drive to work and are very slow . The girls who work there are very very talkative and distracted with eachother . They treat the drive thru as if they didn't have one . I stay in the drive thru the most 16 min , the least 6 min . I've seen a girl at the window have a whole conversation for 5 minutes straight after giving the guest their drinks already . I try to fit this coffee spot into my morning drive before getting to work but it's actually making me late to work !! I prefer pico Rivera location they are very hardworking and super fast workers !! I really wanted to continue to support Tierra Mia because of this immigration issues we are having , but I get serious faces, attitudes, and again lack of energy. I can see why it has low ratings. I've given this location way too many chances and they just can't ever make my drink right ): The iced lattes just always taste watered down, never a rich coffee flavor. For reference I got an iced vanilla latte w cold foam half sweet with extra cinnamon, once they gave me my drink it had no cinnamon at all!! And then I tasted my drink and it was not sweet at all. I understand I asked for half sweet but this one just did not have any vanilla at all. I usually go to other locations and they always get it right so I know I'm not tripping /: I love Tierra Mia and I've been to so many other locations but this one just never does it right sadly. Mixed review. This shop seemed out of place. Ambiance gave me a Porto's vibe but fell flat once inside. We ordered a Hot Brew and Latte which were horrible. The coffee tasted burnt worse than Starbucks. My kids had a double espresso and a Horchata Frappé which they enjoyed. read more

The drive thru is very disorganized. We entered directly through the drive through only to be told the line started at the other end. There was no clear direction or instruction of this but the worker made us feel like we cut the line on purpose. Then silly of us for trying to apologize because the person who took our order and the ones who gave us our drinks were rude and didn't care what we had to say and basically ignored us. They made it seem like they were doing me a favor. My drink was ok but not enough to be back again because Customer service is so bad. read more

YES, customer service here is BAD. *I would love to come more often but unfortunately, until they fix their customer service I will not be coming back. YES, some days your order may be edible and enjoyable. It's a hit or miss. *Some days you'll find foreign objects that shouldn't be in your drink in your drink, or you'll find yourself with a lightly warm drink with a splash of coffee. Drinks are very inconsistent here. Like I said, hit or miss. YES, you will be waiting 45 min + with only 4 cars in front of you. You'll have faster service elsewhere.. YES, workers here act as if they're doing you a favor by being at work. YES, they don't understand the concept nor possess any kind of sense of urgency. * I've waited 3 minutes and 37 seconds (yes I timed it after I saw my drink just sitting there) for my drink that was already made, just sitting there, while the workers had a whole conversation. Laughing and everything.* YES, they should 100% change their customer service practices, but clearly they do not care. Or else a change would've been made LONG TIME AGO. It's such a cute place, but the establishment as a whole does not make up for it. Do better to your own community and people. Such a shame. read more

I live near this coffee shop and I've passed by it everyday seeing the coming soon sign and I was very very excited to start going there instead of Starbucks. When they finally opened I went maybe a handful of times and the service is okay but their coffee is horrible... it always tastes different and they never made my order right. Honestly good just that they need a bit more organization on the line. The line starts on Downey but for some reason people cut on the parking side. Some lady literally threw her car in front of ours and was honking because she said she was next when she was coming from the wrong way, she started getting mad and began to cuss at us. Went here the first day it opened during evening hours, drive thru line was crazy long but that was expected. I'm sure everyone and their mom has been waiting for this place to open, including me. My boyfriend and I got a salted caramel frappe and a blueberry matcha latte with a cheese delight and a chocolate croissant. The baristas warmed our treats and they were delicious! I loved the cheese delight, tasted like Porto's but soft. The blueberry matcha latte was alright, the matcha was fine but I wish more blueberry syrup was added since it wasn't enough to provide sweetness to the drink. And it wasn't a bad price for two baked goods and two medium drinks. Will continue to come here for sure. read more

This location was horrendous. Got a Horchata frappe as we sipped on it with my partner we noticed a foul taste, and it was the whip cream that was spoiled. My wife got a rash over this. This is unacceptable. Will never come back to this location again. The health department should follow up with this location. read more

I was super excited to try this spot for the first time after its grand opening. My husband and I tried going a few days after it had opened but decided to leave because there was a huge line and only 2-3 baristas working. We then decided to visit yesterday since there was no line and the drive thru was empty. We ordered in store and our drinks took about 20 minutes to make even after being the first in line to order. I ordered the vanilla cold brew and my husband ordered the pistachio cold brew. Both drinks were way too sweet and had barely any coffee flavor--which was surprising for them being cold brews. Both had an artificial sweetener/ medicinal taste. Horrible coffee, had to walk over to Starbucks to grab something better. Sadly, this was the first and last time visiting Tierra Mia. read more
