Teddy Bear 2 yo and Mocha Bunny 16 yo pups enjoy their haircuts and also their boarding here. The team just takes really good care of them and they get so much TLC. My kids are in such good moods today after a week of boarding! I put them in separate quarters at night to give them privacy but they get to play together. read more

I have been a customer of theirs for over a year. Such a let down. I told them that my mini-schnauzer needed to get a good hair cut because I am selling her puppies and people are coming by to look at her, and they shaved her beard. She looks like yoda. They said that her beard was matted, and it hurt her to get them out. I call bs. They literally do hand stripping where they rip the hair out of dogs body. I have owned horses and dogs my whole life. If someone shaves their hair, it because they are lazy. Imagine shaving your daughter's head because she had tangles. Let's say your daughter had a modeling shoot and they shaved her head. Yup, they are done. It's such a shame. Accountability is everything and they were not adult enough to hold themselves accountable. Such a shame. They went from 3 to 4 stars, down to one. It looks like everyone is one haircut away from a disaster. I would have given them two stars for their welcoming etiquette, but the no accountability and poor damage control brings them down to a 1 star! read more

My pups love visiting Tiffany Kennels it could be for a day of play or a weeks stay and the team there is amazing. Caring , loving and make our pups and us feel welcome and special. I boarded my Schnauzer at Tiffany Kennels and have no complaints what so ever regarding the boarding. The complaint I have is with the grooming. It seemed convenient to have her groomed the day I was picking her up from boarding. With the grooming being okay I was shocked when I was told the price...$65 for shaving and $15 for matting for a total of $80! She was not matted on the Wednesday I dropped her off for boarding as I brush her every day. If she was matted on the following Monday when groomed the matting happened while she was boarded. My regular groomer specializes in Schnauzers and charges $58. She has never charged me a matted fee. As I will board my dog at Tiffanys in the future I will never have her groomed there. read more

Hi my name is Shelby. I'm an Australian Shepherd. My mom has been bringing me to Tiffany Kennels for grooming for many years. I don't like to leave her and get very anxious, but everyone at TKs tries to make me feel better and they remind me I will see my mom again soon. The groomers always ask my mom how I want my hair this time, a girl's hair is very important! I have a ton of hair and in this Houston heat, sometimes I just want it all off!!! Other times a trim is enough. Let me tell you this last time Niki got it exactly how I wanted it!! Long, but short! You gotta love a hairdresser that can understand what that means, even I am not sure!! I feel pretty!!! and am super confident walking my neighborhood!! My dog really loves coming here but every time I bring him home his paws are torn up. The skin on his paws will be red, raw, cracked and peeling. I think it's because my dog loves to run a lot and the gravel they have there is too rough for his paws. Especially when it's hot outside it tears up his paws. So even though my dog enjoys coming here it's not worth the pain he endures for weeks trying to recover. The staff is really nice. No issues there. I just wish the grounds were nicer so my dog does not get injured every time he goes. read more

I'm not at all pleased with the service here. Having enough standing chemical in the kennel to cause my dog to get 2nd degree burns on his balls is NOT okay. He has since had a visit to a Vet an has to receive two treatments a day and an antibiotic. Question is, how much of that shit did he consume while attempting to remove it from his genitals? If it will cause chemical burn to his skin I wonder what affect it has on his digestive track? I would highly advise against bringing your pet here. It could've been a fluke with the chemical, however, they also forgot (really?) to feed him for a day. On a high note they have a very nice and well groomed yard. read more

The last time we came to pick up our dog, they were really confused about what animal we were picking up and which dog was ours....they don't seem really organized. Left my two beagles for 13 days and there weren't any issues. The staff is super cool and when you call to see how they're doing they're very friendly and helpful. My oldest has ear issues and takes medications but staff had no problem keeping up with that. Will continue to give them my business whenever I'm out of town. read more

NEVER again! I figured with great reviews and the convenience of living across the street boarding my dog here overnight was a no brainer. The first sign I shouldn't have left my dog here was seeing how frazzled the workers were. There were two customers there (including myself) and they seemed as if there were a line out of the door. They were just unorganized and seemed very frantic! Not only this, but when I was picking up my dog the next day, I asked if he had gone outside (I only let him stay because they said they allow them play time outside three times a day). However, she couldn't confirm if he had gone out at all and it was early afternoon. When I recovered my dog he was wet from his own urine, and BLEEDING! As soon as he came home, he ran to his water bowl and finished the ENTIRE bowl to where I had to add extra! He has never drank water like that before. No innocent animal should have to endure what my poor pup did. I'm so afraid to know what really happened while we were away for just ONE night. read more

I needed to find a doggie day care near my office and I chose Tiffany's due to the friendly response I received during my initial inquiry call. Not many places accept pitt bulls (or Pitties as I like to call them. And mine is a sweetheart.) and they didn't hesitate as their staff has very good experience with this breed. Well, I read the YELP reviews and I'm astounded. I have received nothing but stellar customer care here in 2015. They don't open til 7:30am but when I come at 7am and they take him. WOW!!My dog comes home and crashes out after he spends a day here in doggy daycare... And pitties are high energy dogs! Moreover, he gets mad at me when I don't take him in. He absolutely loves coming here. Each time we pull up, he is so happy & eager to get inside. The have the same committed, educated, trained, experienced staff. Omar & his wife are tremendous!! My special meal requests were honored, when I forgot food, they gave him some at no charge, they match temperments so well my guy is exhausted when I pick him up. When my doggie food lid got damaged by another dog, they replaced it for free. On days where there's no playmate match, the staff plays w/ him and he still comes home exhausted. On rainy days, cold days, he still comes home exhausted. Same consistent quality care. He never smells funny. He never has any injuries. They even walk him out to my car for me when I pick him up! WOW!! They gave me a report card on his 1st day too--it was really sweet, photos, detailed info, it's on my refrigerator. I was hesitant when I first walked in due to the fact they operate on a pen & paper filing system but that has absolutely no reflection on how they run their daycare. Ahead of the Pack is where they are. I've had my pittie at other Houston daycares costing $25-$30/day & he comes home wired, full of energy like he did nothing but sit in a kennel all day. This places charges $16/day for daycare and he comes home exhausted every time! And the staff genuinely cares for your pet like its their own. So, I don't know why this place got bad reviews. I've had nothing but consistent, stellar customer service for doggy day care. They got a very nice, big dog park in the back too! Wonderful hidden gem. read more

I have used Tiffany Kennels for years for grooming my dogs and on occasion, boarding. After the last boarding experience though, never again! I could also go on about how poor the last two grooming experiences were...clearly not hand-striping anymore, but rather using a clippers...but it is the boarding experience that causes me to say board at your own risk. Upon picking up my senior dog on Tuesday morning following the Memorial Day Holiday weekend (they would not let me collect him on Sunday as they have in the past) I immediately noticed he was visibly unstable on his feet and would not put his right front paw down at all and was trying to hobble on two legs. When I questioned the staff as to what happened, they all feigned ignorance or having any knowledge and asserted he had been fine. Yet, they walked a visibly lame dog out from the boarding area to the front and never noticed! This told me volumes as to their power of observation and lack of concern. Following a vet visit it was clear that something happened in the course of his being boarded and while we can't be entirely sure, symptoms indicate it is neurological. Sadly, he will not win this battle, but it makes me wonder if the outcome could have been different had the dog received earlier medical attention. I called Tiffany Kennels back the next day to demand more information about his boarding experience (record of going out, eating, behavior, etc) and was assured they would check security cameras to see if they saw any change and the owner would get back to me following some investigation. Crickets...not even a courtesy followup phone call to inquire after the health of the dog...a customer of their's for over ten years. Even if something just occurred that morning with my dog, their lack of observation is a major fail. In hindsight I should have realized they are not on par with other boarding facilities for they never asked me for proof of his inoculation status either at the time the reservation was made or when I appeared with the dog. I pointed that out when I brought him in and presented the front desk with his medical record of shots. When I asked how come and how can I be assured that all the dogs they board are up to date, they dismissed it with "oh we know your dog and yes we do ask for records for boarders". As mentioned, he is quite senior and I have long accepted as he has aged that his health could take a turn for the worse while in someone else's care. I expect the care-taker to be observant and to notify me immediately of a problem. I certainly do not accept that the care-taker would be as ignorant of an obvious problem as not one, but several employees demonstrated. I echo earlier comments that the front desk staff are not very professional and I now see that the rest of their staff is not as well. read more

We have been boarding our pugs here for 3 years. They are WONDERFUL!!! Our vet, a longstanding well known well respected pillar of the veterinarian community, recommended them. My grandparents used to board their westies here for over a decade before they passed on. The people are great, the facility is great, the rates are reasonable, and most importantly, my picky dogs get EXCITED when we pull up - not scared! In my opinion, the other reviews are an anomaly. We love Tiffany Kennels! In fact, we tried a person who stayed at the house with the dogs and decided to go back to Tiffany! read more

I've taken my other westies in for grooming in the past and have not been here in years but since I was in town with my new westie I decided to pay them a visit since their stripping of terriers are great. This time I was WRONG! Joyce has always done my other dogs in the past but this time I was told Hailey would be grooming my westie which I thought would be stripped but my poor baby looked like she had clippers used on her! I was upset at not only that but she also clipped my dog's quick which was still bleeding when I picked her up. I never leave reviews but looking at my baby I get upset at how her hair is growing back and it's been weeks ago. I felt it necessary to let others know to NOT let the Hailey girl groom your dog! You'd be better off going to Petsmart. I highly recommend Joyce and requested her from now on any time I go back. That's the only reason I gave this business 2 stars. read more

DONT DO IT!!!! I have never had to kennel my 2 beagles before and thanks to my experience at Tiffany's kennels ill do whatever it takes to never have to do it again. I dropped my dogs off Thursday 4/4/14 and picked the up Monday 4/7/14. Tiffanys even called my vet to confirm my girls were up to date on the shots. Everything appeared to be fine until the next day when I noticed my poor babies coughing uncontrollably like humans. I've never experienced this before and it scared the heck out of me. It was non stop in addition to them wheezing like they couldn't catch there breath so I had to take them to the vet asap. Dr confirmed it was kennel cough. Dr also said that any "good" kennel would give them to drops in the nose at the time they get dropped off so having never used a kennel before I had no idea. I called Tiffany's Kennel the next day to inform them and the manager wasn't in so I informed the asst. manager. She seemed compassionate enough and stated she would bleach out the kennels that same day. I asked to have the manager call me the following day and as of today 4/30 I still have yet to hear from them. I had to spend another $250 bucks in top of the $250 I spent boarding them. I was looking for a little compensation but didnt even get an apology. The hardest part was watching my dogs go through hell for a week! Had they made it right you would not have seen this comment. Needless to say...I wont bring my dogs there if I were you! read more

This place is so cute! I came to this kennel to have a tour of the facility and to decide if I wanted to make a reservation for boarding my dog and some days of daycare. When I got there, the place smelled so good and clean, I forgot I was at a dog kennel! Lady, who I was told is the kennel manager, was so nice and and explained their routines to me and answered all my questions and made me feel good about leaving my dog with them. I brought Daisy the next day for daycare and to prepare her for the overnight boarding I arranged with them and when I picked her up she literally did not want to leave! She ran behind the desks of the two women that worked in the office then back to the door leading into the kennel. I was in disbelief that she wanted to stay! They even gave me a picture of her during her playtime with some new friends and a report card! I will definitely be bringing her back! I recommend bringing your furry family member to this place!
