Great food with various spice levels. We like it hot so went with spicy but were afraid to go to "Indian hot." Gobhi Manchurian was a great appetizer. Had Lamb roganjosh & paneer chettinad (a coconut based sauce) & both were delicious. read more

I used to visit this place in Voorhees and was sad to see it close but was glad to see it open up again in Cherry Hill. Unfortunately it did not live up to its expectation. The pkace just opened and it already looks run down, scratched walls throughout, same old photos. I am willing to overlook it for good food, but their one dish came out slightly warm and it looked like they hid the charred tandoori chicken in the tikka sauce. Meat was dry and quite different from what we are used to. Sorry to say but this was our ladt time to this place. Plus there are a other Indian restaurants in the voorhees location as this is not worth the drive. Server was friendly but a bit indifferent. Old location had really friendly guys. read more

Ordered a take out for Chicken Briyani some three months ago. I should have reviewed it then. Wanted to check out other dishes though. WORST briyani I ever had in my life. They seem to have a very simple recipe for making Chicken briyani. Take some white rice. Add turmeric and peanut. (Yes, seriously peanut in Chicken briyani) Add some boiled chicken and mix it. Pack it in hollow plastic box. That is $14 briyani for you. I will never order from this place again. read more

Visited today, 05/02/2015 for lunch around 2.15 pm and had the worst experience one could ever have at a restaurant. I asked the guy at counter are you open for lunch as there was no one out there in the restaurant the guy was really rude and he was like you have 10 more minutes for buffet but when I checked outside it said lunch buffet is open till 3pm. Saag Paneer and Dal Makhni was empty so I asked him can you please refill this please and the guy is like no I can't. When I asked him can I talk to your manager he was like I am manager and would not even give me his name. He was super rude and never gave me his name. I am never going to this place again not would recommend to anyone. I walked out and he was like complain to whoever you want we don't care. This shows how much less they are concerned about their customers. I have been to many Indian restaurants in the neighborhood but never ever had this type of experience. read more

Tiffin is my favorite Indian restaurant, and I'm in love with Indian food. I eat it all the time, my pores ooze with Indian spices. I always get the 11$ meal option, which is available all times of the day. It includes a choice appetizer, a choice non-vegetarian meal, naan, and basmati rice. Although the portion is small, the array of items included - in addition to the richness of the meal, always leaves me full (like 5 bites ago). I usually go with their vegetarian samosa (filling: potato and peas) as my appetizer and the butter chicken (chicken makahani) as my meal. The samosa is so crispy and dipped in the provided mint chutney sauce it is just the perfect way to begin the feast. The butter chicken, ordered with the specification of "burn my face off spicy" takes your tastebuds on the most flavor packed journey. It has sweet, spicy, and truckloads of cream. You can tell by the color of the dish if the butter chicken is good... some Indian butter chicken dishes have red gravy, making you feel as though you're eating Prego spaghetti sauce. Tiffin masters makahani to perfection; the gravy is a beautiful sunset/rise color and is the most delightfully smooth consistency. In addition to the complex flavors brought by the gravy, the chicken in the dish is of dark meat variety, which makes the flavors just oh-so much better than other Indian establishments. The accompanying basmati rice and garlic naan serve as the perfect vehicle for transporting the heavenly gravy to my being.. every drop must make the destination! I use the naan to scoop the chicken... but mostly prefer pouring rice into the gravy and churning until every basmati granule is coated in deliciousness. Other dishes I've had the pleasure of trying are the chicken korma, and the chicken biryani. read more

When called after an hour for the delivery status, Mr. Manager (Gabriel at Cherry Hill) couldn't locate the order and when found, refused delivery that too within 0.2 miles. Definitely an award winning restaurant which declines delivery after accepting online order for about an hour! read more

I've been wanting to try Tiffin for awhile. Now that I have, i can say I'm really disappointed. I decided to order takeout lunch. First, I ordered an appetizer, cauliflower bezule. I've never had this dish but I'm a cauliflower lover. It was soggy and tasted like it was lightly fried, pale tan, and it had a strong taste of flaked coconut. Being a takeout order, I can forgive the sogginess, but the flavor just wasn't there. I got a lunchtime meal of baighan bartha, an eggplant dish. The naan that came with it looked so good but it was tasteless. Also bland and tasteless. The onion bhaji was the star of the meal. Absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had. That's the 2 stars rating. My meal of eggplant was too spicy for me. Although I ordered it extra mild, it was too spicy for me to eat. Maybe that's just a misunderstanding but my basmati rice wasn't very good either. I don't think I'll be trying it again. read more

My takeout was a disappointing experience; though the place was empty and the woman at the register spoke excellent English, I did not get exactly what I ordered on several counts. I ordered two separate entrees and received two of the same. The naan I asked for was not included either, though at least I was not charged for it. this was my first visit today 02/18/2017 and we ordered papri chaat.specially for my mother, being punjabi we love spicy , khatta mittha. but i never had tasteless papri chat in my life. there was no masala , no salt even had no taste of red chuttney. i just shocked. and when we complained to the ordering guy. there was no reaction.no response no apology , didnt say even a single word. well i would never visit again. my friend had referred me to go there. customer service was poor and taste of food was horrible. need to improvement a lot. i will never refer any one to go there and try. you can go there by your own risk.lol.. just waste of time and money. read more

I went to Tiffin Cherry Hill on February 16, 2015. I must say the food and service was amazing. For my appetizer i ordered the Chili Chicken, the Chili Chicken was very juicy and tender, it had a lot of flavor and i absolutely loved it. For my entree i ordered Chicken Biryani, the chicken was very good and was also spicy which made it better. I also had the Peshawari Naan, the mix of nuts inside was very delicious and i really enjoyed it. Finally, for dessert i had Rasmalai Tiramisu and it was like nothing i ever had before. It seemed to melt right into my mouth and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend Tiffin to a friend and will be going back soon. read more
