Well I finally made it to Mr. Wich the very nostalgic and famous deli after all the years of…read morehearing mixed reviews I finally got to experience it for myself. Some say the pastrami is the best ever other says the pizza is to die for, well today it seemed most people came for the pizza but I had already decided on the pastrami before I pulled in the parking lot. This was a giant sandwich freshly prepared while I waited, really good fresh rye bread, spicy mustard, swiss cheese and a lot of hot from the grill pastrami (deli sliced but I knew that coming in). I got here a few minutes after they opened so there was no line and the woman working the register was so friendly and accommodating, the older gentleman I presume is George was busy tending to the pizzas and sandwich orders that were coming in. I planned to eat this outside at one of the older tables and chairs which I found pretty cool so told her that and she had the sandwich put in a container and didn't bag it but ensured I had plenty of napkins. The sandwich was $17.04 with tax so there went my twenty dollar bill with the tip. Well that seemed a little expensive to me until I opened it up once I grabbed a seat in the shade and found it was easily enough for two or one with half to take home. There are a number of reasons I give them 4 stars but honestly the sandwich was at best a three, it was a little chewy with maybe a little too much time on the grill. I'm happy I was able to experience this place and I'm planning to return to experience a few slices of pizza (two slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza and a can drink for $8.00) sounds more than reasonable to me...

There were so many rusty water stains and sagging drop ceiling panels that I choose to never return. Hopefully that's been fixed after by now. Anyone reading this please advise

A Standout Find in Daytona Beach!…read more Our family of six ventured to Daytona for a visit to Buc-ee's and wanted to find somewhere special to eat closer to the water. We're so glad we discovered Farm to Fit! What a fantastic surprise. This little bistro is seriously underrated. We're New York Metro foodies, so we have pretty high expectations when it comes to fresh, flavorful food, and Farm to Fit absolutely delivered. Everything we ordered was fresh, beautifully prepared, and genuinely delicious. We tried the Cuban sandwich, Chicken Club, Shrimp Bowl, Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato salad, and Salmon Bowl. The Salmon Bowl was a standout and easily one of our favorites. We also sampled the Key Lime Pie and cheesecake, because apparently six people need dessert research too. Both were delicious. We all left feeling completely satisfied and already talking about coming back. There's something special about finding a place that feels like a hidden gem, where the food is thoughtfully prepared and the people genuinely care about what they're serving. Daytona is lucky to have Farm to Fit and its wonderful team. Kudos to the staff we met for making our experience even better! This was such a fun find, and I honestly can't wait to return!

If you're looking for a great local spot, this one is definitely worth a visit!…read more Cute space, beautifully decorated, and a super friendly staff that made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. As someone with celiac disease, I especially appreciated how knowledgeable they were about gluten-free dining. Their menu is truly farm-to-table, and the majority of their dishes are either naturally gluten-free or can be made gluten-free without sacrificing flavor. We each had a salad, and we shared the Buffalo Chicken Dip--which was absolutely delicious! It's always exciting to find a restaurant that takes gluten-free seriously while serving fresh, flavorful food. I'll definitely be back!

A diner that stays open in the evening is not that common, but here we are!…read more A short stroll from our hotel on an early Saturday evening found us there at this classic New Jersey-looking diner (Looks like a silver railway car) Inside - the olde school diner decor with photos of Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando and others on the walls Service was very good - our young lady informed us before we ordered that the kitchen was very busy (nice touch) In the end, food came out within 15 minutes of ordering...set expectations low and deliver high = super service So...onto to the food Shepherds Pie exceeded my expectations; although it always comes with carrots, they were substituted by green beans and it worked Great food, fast service...you will not be disappointed

2 Stars I hate…read moregiving anyone a two-star review, especially for breakfast--my favorite meal of the day--but unfortunately, this one just missed the mark for us. The biggest issue was the quality of the food. If you're going to charge around $15 for a breakfast, put a good-quality sausage patty on the grill. It doesn't take much to make a flavorful sausage gravy from scratch either, but this gravy tasted like it came straight from a bag or can and had almost no flavor. The biscuits themselves were actually pretty good, but pouring margarine over the top completely changed the taste. The sausage patties weren't very good and seemed like they'd been left on the grill too long. The fried potatoes were decent, and so was the sourdough toast. The staff was nice and working hard--they were extremely busy. There were a lot of people in line, so clearly plenty of people enjoy the breakfast here, and the place itself has an interesting atmosphere. The price didn't help. $4 for a Sprite is overkill. We had one breakfast with an egg, sausage, toast and home fries, one waffle, half an order of biscuits and gravy, and drinks, and the bill was over $40. At that price point, I simply expect better-quality breakfast ingredients. This is just our experience and opinion. The staff was friendly, and considering how busy they were, I give them credit for that. Maybe we'll give it another shot next year, but this time around, the quality just didn't match the price.
