We eat here quite often and the food is always good. They have very authentic flavors and for the most part, everything we have ever ordered here was really good. My favorite is the Szechuan spicy chicken, braised pork with pickled vegetables, deep fried fish with sweet and sour sauce, and dried fried green beans with minced pork. Even my wife's parents give this place the thumbs up. If you see other asian people eating in a Chinese restaurant, it usually is going to be pretty good. We can be picky eaters and you aren't going to find people with their parents eating in a place serving food that tastes like Panda Express. This has consistently been my go to place for area Asian cuisine. The food is consistently top notch. Made from scratch sauces are delicious. My go to has been the Mongolian Beef and steamed pork dumplings. Not overly salty and well portioned. Only complaint would be for a more compelling and user friendly online website for online orders. Visited not too long ago. We were offered, on the house for our first visit, an eggplant appetizer, which I am not fond of eggplant, but it was nice to try. While the service was impeccable, the restaurant was very clean and presentation was amazing, the food was so greasy that neither my husband or I could eat even 1/4 of our meal. One of my favorite restaurants in Katy!!! Their food is so yummy and always consistent. We usually always get the Mongolian Beef or chicken, Tiger fried rice, green beans, Kung Pao shrimp, and dry fried Szechuan Spicy sliced fish. I honestly don't think I could live without the Mongolian dishes in my life. Some chefs put a little more love into the food than the others, but it's still delicious either way. I love that they offer a dish on the house. My kids make a game out of guessing what they're going to surprise us with. Their service is always top notch too. My favorites: Ghost pepper beef noodle soup is as spicy as advertised and has incredible flavor. We've been going to this location since it opened and we've always enjoyed our visits. We haven't had Tiger Noodle in a few months and we felt a lot of the quality dropped tonight, didn't taste as fresh and there is a lot of cross contamination going on in this kitchen. Very good food! They gave us delicious egg rolls on the house. The steamed rice and entrees were great as well; my favorite was the Mongolian beef and chicken (so good!!!). Doesn't look like much when you walk past, but I was practically dying of hunger so I popped in! The waiters and waitresses were so welcoming and polite! They let me pick my table and my kids were very happy! We ordered a bunch for all of us to split. We got orange chicken, dumplings, rice, etc.. Once we started eating, they gave us a complimentary bowl of white rice. They said it was refillable so we could fill it as many times as needed! We found one small hair in the rice but we don't know if it was one of ours or the cooks. That's the only reason I gave it a 4 star. read more

I swung by with a friend during lunch hour and tried dan dan noodles, pork soup dumplings, and spicy crispy fillet w/ veggies. All came in generous portions that we had to get to-go boxes :) The food was pretty tasty and fresh. I was a little bit disappointed by the soup dumplings bc the dough was too thick and the meat inside was too small, so there was not enough juice inside the dumplings when steamed. I've been to this restaurant many times, one of my favorite restaurants pre-COVID. Recently, I started coming back as restrictions eased. However, the last couple of times...the service was not great (not bad but not great). It is very different from the past. The food was very salty both times. When you ask for lemon/lime with your water, they said they don't serve it anymore due to COVID. I'm not sure I understand this reason...especially when the food gets touched in the kitchen during preparation anyway. So what does COVID has to do with serving lemon with water? I am not sure if ownership changed recently because if that's the case, it explains the downturn in service. I will not go back. read more

We came here one Sunday night to try other Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood. We saw an awesome review at Yelp! so we gave it a try! And yes this place is definetrly different than any other Chinese food around here. We ordered their szechuan dishes (spicy sliced poached beef, deep fried spicy szechuan fish, and steamed dumpling). They were all very delicious. I cannot compare these dishes to the real szechuan like the one in Chinatown, but it's pretty decent. My husband and I were elated when we found out that there was a closer Tiger Noodle House (TNH) to our house. We love THN! When we don't want to drive to Chinatown, we opt to go here. Our favorite dishes here are the sweet and sour fish, dry green beans, and the spicy wontons. Everything is fresh. The staff here are wonderful. We met Tiger once before (he is a very busy and popular man), and he is so humble and kind. You definitely can tell that he loves his customers and wants to serve them the best dishes.
