My wife and I dined in today. We were made to feel welcomed by a very friendly staff. We sat down and sipped some very fine iced tea before enjoying some delicious cuisine. Had the House Special Lo Mein. It was dry, barely seasoned and the shrimp was fried and added to the dish so don't bother digging for more. What's on top is all you get (5 or 6 med size). Could've used more veggies too.Had the Moo Goo Gai Pan . The chicken was tender but there wasn't nearly enough veggies. Just mushrooms and snow peas. Food is just OK typical American Chinese. You do get a lot for the money, but there is better out there.

So far the dishes of tried were delicious, they give you a pretty big portion. You don't have to wait long at all to get seated and served with drinks to start. The place is not too big yet there's plenty of seating and the staff there are friendly. read more

Places is kind of overpriced for the quality it's weird when you get out lunch special combo you could swap out the fried rice or white rice for got charged an extra two dollars for changing the rice even though they kept the white rice lol read more

10/10!! Everything was fresh and the portion of the Veggie Lo Mein + Orange Beef was impressive. The Orange Beef is probably the most tender I've ever had, a nice subtle flavor too. Picked up some food to go and everything was fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed the shrimp lo mein. They gave a nice portion. Also got the Szechuan beef. The flavor was good but oddly it had a scent of hot dog? Not sure what that was about. The cheese rangoons are good too. They made the order very quickly. I'll definitely get the noodles again and try out a chicken dish. read more

Food was delivered thru Doo Dash and it arrived in less than 20 mins. It was so much food. So much. We barely put a dent in it. And it was very good. No complaints at all. Good food! The 2 young girls at the register were very unprofessional. Laughing and giggling to each other. I asked for a receipt for the cash I paid to give to my job to show I paid and one of them informed me they don't give receipts for cash. Which is ludicrous. When I looked at her puzzled and walked away, they started laughing and one of them said "what is she on?!" That wasn't funny to me and it was down right rude and very unprofessional. I then spoke to the manager who didn't understand anything that O was saying. She thought it was about the receipt but it was about the customer service from the two immature girls at the front counter. We have been going here for 7 years. Because of them we will not be back. Nor will all of the people we raved about them to. Too many options for great food in Houston/Richmond to put up with that! read more

Food has been decent the times I've went. I have an issue with the guy who answered the phone. I asked for my order to be placed over the phone so I could sit down and eat when I arrived and so my food would already be packaged to go. (This makes it quick for a lunch break) He responded it's the same ordering it here vs ordering to go and that it would only take 2 mins. This of course is not true, as I have eaten here 3 times. Buddy would NOT let me place my order! Which is crazy! Or, if it is true, they are frying food and leaving it out waiting for people to order it. I hope he's not the owner. It's a different request but I've never had anyone tell me no, the food is already cooked and ready to go so you might as well wait. I'd go to Panda Express if that's the case and save a few bucks. Edit: Sounds like the owner is also a liar or delusional sense he claimed when I called that it would take 2 mins to get the food and that it didn't matter if I ordered over the phone or not. BUT... Ordered for lunch 6 days ago and no complaints. This place is hit or miss in my opinion. While I was happy last week today's lunch was straight up nasty. The noodles in the Singapore mei fun was mushy and where was the curry? My kids veggie lo Mein didn't taste the same and smelled smoky. Even the veggie egg rolls were gross. This is quickly becoming our go-to takeout place. It's one of the best mei fun we've ever had - and they STUFF their containers to the brim. Everything here is fantastic - from their fried rice options, lo mein, mei fun, any of their appetizers, the soups (not salty at all), to any of their chicken, beef or pork dishes. Making the transition to vegetarian has proven to be no small feat so I absolutely appreciate finding wonderful establishments like this one who offer savory tofu dishes. The shrimp fried rice had what appeared to be fried shrimp that were thrown in there, the sweet and sour chicken and egg rolls were super greasy. I had a hankering for Chinese food at 8pm and looked up the closest to me. I saw that Yumi was in a nearby shopping center so I drove over. I didn't have great expectations of this tiny place but I was pleasantly surprised. I was the only dining guest and noticed they serve wine and beer so - what the heck - I ordered a glass of wine and the Szechwan beef. Their hot and sour soup could have been my meal! Sooo good! Loved the egg roll. Then this huge plate of beef showed up with wonderful, crisp veggies. For $15 this is the best bargain I've had in a while. Nice, friendly people. Interesting as I sat there probably 10 takeouts got picked up. I'm sure that's a rollover from Covid. But I plan to go back and take my grandgirls who love Chinese. Probably maybe decent American Chinese food. If you're looking for anything remotely authentic, steer clear. Even the mapo tofu was far from what it should taste like. There was a spicy sweet and sour flavor! The bok choy was basic with barely any garlic flavor but it was a welcomed dish compared to the others. First n last time. I've definitely had delicious "Americanized" Chinese food (like Rice Box and Mai Tai here in Houston) and just did not enjoy the dishes I happen to select for 4 of us to lunch on (others were right that portions were a good size). Husband said Gen Tso was ok n finished most of it. The rest of us chose to NOT eat the mapo or pork. We ate some bok Choy. Just stating facts. read more
