But I must say this place is definitely worth a try as one of the better Asian places in Katy. We had some kind of fried rice with some local dudes "Daddy Duncan" bbq brisket! And while my first bite was like it was weird because your getting this bbq & Asian thing happening...my second bite was "Fusion Baby"!!. Holy moly it was really yummy! This place was good! I have gone there repeatedly and keep getting a teenage waitperson that has no clue about the menu and no clue about customer service. I asked specifically for appetizers and they keep sending the appetizer with the entries that come one by one. It is polite to wait for all people to get food before beginning to eat and this restaurant does not understand that they are serving a mostly a Western culture. That means that they need to adapt to the customers and stop thinking that they are serving their own culture. The proof is in the food. It has been Westernized. I spend over $100 dollars every visit and expected to leave a tip of at least 15% for what service? I have the service of a fast food restaurant. I am calling it quits. They have lost a customer because they hire only teenagers that they don't bother to train. I will make the trip to Bellaire to get better food for the price. read more

First let me say that we went here because of the reviews, and they were SPOT ON! It's True. It's Real. Go See For Yourself! There were two of us and we went around 6pm on a Monday night. They were not busy, but there were several tables of people. We were seated immediately and the service was incredible the whole visit. We ordered Pork Xiao Long Bao, Szechuan Spicy Chicken, and then ordered Mongolian Beef to go. They delivered a complimentary plate of fried green beans to our table. These were off the charts amazing garlicky, salty, yumminess. Pork Xiao Long Bao - 10 perfectly shaped, perfectly steamed buns presented perfectly in the traditional bamboo steaming basket with a side bowl of julienne ginger. They tasted wonderful with the perfect amount of liquid inside to make me smile! Szechuan Spicy Chicken - Served beautifully with fresh cilantro. The chicken was tender, coated and nicely spicy. It was served with a side of steamed white rice. This stuff has me craving left overs and sadly there are none. :) Mongolian Beef - I had to taste this when I delivered it to my husband, and it was also a winner. Me and the family had take out there. The food was really good and the portions were nice. The restaurant looked in good shape and clean but will not know until this COVID stuff goes away. After a gym work out I was craving some major carbs and decided to co e try out their beef noodles and I'm glad I did. I arrived with a girlfriend around 7:00pm and it wasn't extremely busy, but not dead either. We walked in and were seated right away by the hostess I believe, which took our drink order and told us that our waiter will be with us shortly. They gave us egg rolls and it was on the house and surprisingly, it was quiet tasty! We ordered: 1. Spicy wontons: 3/5 This dish is NOT spicy what so ever, but it got 3 Stars because the sauce was really good. The wonton itself wasn't too great.. it was mushy....... yeah enough said. 2. Special Beef Noodle Soup: 5/5 This place kicked beef noodle soup that's deep within Bellaire's butt! I wanted to actually taste the broth so I asked for the spicy oil on the side. We ordered the special beef noodle soup which has the beef and the beef tendon as well. I really wanted to try everything on their menu, but like I said before... Light, crispy, delicate, filled with shrimp, served with delicious sweet sauce, they are heavenly creations. The pan-fried pork dumplings are also amazing. There are a lot of traditional dishes on the men at Tiger Noodle House. Some, not all that common but nevertheless delicious. On my first visit, my date recommended trying the sauteed green beans. Fresh-tasting, deliciously savory, we polished them off before we even realized they were gone. But ... the soup. The simmered pork noodle soup comes out boiling hot, a huge portion of noodles in a delectable broth. I ordered mine middle-of-the-road spicy and it was just perfectly balanced. A generous amount of delicate, tender pork belly pieces float in the soup. I'm just not accustomed to Taiwanese beef noodle soup being that spicy. But it was still very good. We also ordered the beef wrap. The meat was extremely seasoned. Good if you like that. I prefer my food just a tad more subtle in taste. Got the chili wontons too. Again, the meat was super seasoned. Not necessarily a bad thing but not a great thing either. It's good though. I just went here with my son, he looked at the ratings and pics and wanted to try it. No idea why the ratings are so high. The service staff was not attentive and the quality of the food was mediocre. The decor is starting to look a bit stale but the food and service will make this a place to not visit. So we ordered some appetizers: veggie spring rolls, crispy shrimp rolls, and the veggie dumplings. O M G all of it was fabulous. The wonton paper used for the spring rolls and shrimp rolls is so delicate and light. Fried to perfection and everything had its own tasty dipping sauce. Our entrees arrived with an "on the house" plate of the most delicious green beans I've ever had. I had the dry crispy squid and it was absolutely to die for! Located in Katy, Tiger Noodle House is a solid spot for Asian cuisine. I've been several times and they have always given a free appetizer to start. This is such a great way to try new dishes, and because of it, we have ordered some of the appetizers that we got for free from the previous visit. Tiger Noodle House was amazing. The food was delivered in a very timely manner. We started with the vegetable egg rolls as an appetizer. They were decent and worth a try. However, the broccoli chicken, Kung Pap chicken, and sesame chicken were fresh, and full of flavor. The fried rice was very subtle in flavor. I would recommend that you just go with steamed rice. Next time I want to try a noodle dish because I noticed that people from the culture ordered the traditional noodle soups. This is a lovely little dive. We came on a Saturday night at 6 pm, there wasn't a wait then but when we left there was. I totally misread my friend's review regarding the Tiger Hot Beef Noodle Tiger Hot Level 1 (x5 Spicy).. It's TOO SPICY. It's made with ghost pepper like duh I should have know better. They were kind enough to offer a remake of the soup but we declined since there were so much other food. We started with the Spicy Wonton - it was good but I prefer Mala Sichuan better :3 The Full House Spicy Pot includes all the protein (seafood, chicken, beef) which is not bad if you like variety. It will serve between 2-3 people?? Then they dropped off the Xiao Long Bao and said it was on the house - not that bad, wish it had a little bit more soup since the skin is thick. This definitely helped me from the fiery beef noodle soup. Very good service too. Overall, it's a good place to eat if you're in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it again when Chinatown or Mala Sichuan which is closer to me. read more

Potstickers are a must, but the spicy wontons are so good; you'll dream about them! The soup dumplings came out complimentary and I'm so thankful, because I wouldn't have ever ordered them. These stole the show! After they cooled down, hot AF, they are so yummy you just pop them in your mouth! I've been on a diet but decided to come here on my cheat day but honestly I was really disappointed about this place. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't all I had ever hoped for lol. The staff was nice and brought us out some egg rolls on the house, which I thought were ok but filled with just veggies. I came here solely for the pork xiao long baos and dan dan noodles. The xiao long baos were pretty bland and too thick. The "spicy" (as in the name) dan dan noodles were not spicy what so ever but just tasted ok. Yes, it was nutty and sesamey but I felt like there was a lack or something. I also ordered some sesame chicken which were ok but how can you mess that up?
