Beautiful decor and calm vibe here. The wait staff was attentive and prompt with waters and our pitcher of margaritas! Brought our glasses full with the pitcher just about totally full. I would've liked if they asked if we wanted glasses salted (they were Not and wish they were). Chips and salsa plentiful. Nice flavorful salsa. We ordered an appetizer that had a little of everything and I esp liked the mini tacos and the pork bellies. It was quite an ample amount of everything enough for the 4 of us ! I need gluten-free items and many items had wheat flour tortillas. Our server went in the back to ask the chef what would be corn flour. I ordered quesadillas with corn and had steak added. Very well balanced textures and sweet and spicy. I should've paid attention to the other items ordered. All I can say is everyone was thoroughly pleased with their orders. Totally mid. If you like chips and salsa don't come here(I pretty much get Mexican food for the limitless chips and salsa). They charge for extra chips past the first complimentary round. The salsa truthfully tastes like an Ortega seasoning packet (I liked it but the rest of my party didn't). The steak was a little dry and so was the rice. Great flavor though and a very nice and clean restaurant. The staff were great too. Will most likely be coming back for the family taco and sangria pitcher combo. read more

Our first time here. We were heading to another location. We had passed here before. Always commenting on one day coming here. Now we did. This location is in Rte 82 in Fishkill The interior is very big. We were offered a choice between booth or table we chose table. We were giving a dish with colored chips and a sauce. Not spicy. The staff asked if I prefer guacamole.which I would I ordered 2 tacos J didn't want the rice or beans. My tacos are very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My friend and I came in with two kids and were seated right away at a booth which was comfortable. The menu is extensive and we noticed they offered family specials too. We ordered drinks and chips and salsa was brought over right away. We ordered and the food came out quickly. I had the taco salad with steak which was perfectly cooked with the steak spread across the top in strips but I broke the strips smaller. There is no dressing for the salad and they forgot the sour cream which was fine. I added salsa as a dressing. My friend had the enchiladas with 3 sauces she enjoyed. The kids had a chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla which were both a good portion. Our waitress was attentive. I loved the Mexican themed decor it was bright and beautiful. Typically this is our go to for Mexican in the area. We go at least once a month as a family and spend over 200$ per visit. The food is always on point & the service stands up. However, tonight when ordering a simple burrito that I often get, I'm brought out a dish with the burrito & fries- no salsa lettuce guacamole sour cream & side of rice & beans. No big deal, but when addressed I was told it NEVER comes that way... and the situation was never remedied. A Mexican restaurant that can't handle rice & beans properly..... That's not ok. Adios! My husband and I have been trying different places in the area on Friday nights in my quest for the perfect margarita. This spot has a fantastic coconut margarita. I usually go for the regular ones, but the coconut caught my eye, and I'm glad I indulged. DELICIOUS! We also had the nachos as an appetizer, and they were the best nachos I've had in a while, so I knew the food would be great, and it was! My shrimp burrito was so fresh and so tasty! Visited here tonight for a late night family dinner. We were greeted by the host who promptly seated us. They have amazing chips and tasty salsa which my kids quickly gobbled up before our meal. For whatever reason, this week I paid attention and decided to go. 10/10 great decision The food here is INCREDIBLE. The steak nachos were the best nachos I've had in my 25 years of life. This week they had a Birria Combo Special where you could get a quesadilla, 2 chimichangas, and 2 tacos with consommé for dipping all for $30. My boyfriend and I ordered the nachos and the combo special and ended up being stuffed. It was soo good. The ambiance is also really nice with colorful decorations and Mexican music. Really really disappointed with this restaurant and the staff. Just to give everyone who reads this a good idea at what we dealt with tonight. We ordered Botana Mexicana, chips with a side of queso and churros with a side of ice cream and No berry sauce (my girlfriend has an allergy to berry) which we made known over the phone. We were very excited to try this place as we've never been there. We got there and I saw the bill $47 and I thought to myself huh maybe a little steep but nothing crazy. We got home and were LIVID. The Botana mexicana was supposed to come with guacamole, it didn't. The churros came filled with berry sauce. The ice cream on the side? Not there either. The queso we ordered was not what we received, we received a cup of solid cheese. Not even sure what it is. So we were charged $16.00 for the Botana (advertised to feed two people, which is BEYOND ridiculous with what we received-not nearly enough for two) without any guacamole, we were charged $11 for 2 churros filled with berry sauce we specifically said not to add and no ice cream (DoorDash advertises churros $2.50 each) and $15 for chips with not even queso but a cup of solid cheese we didn't eat! My girlfriend decided to call and try to figure it out. She expressed her concerns with the missing items and outrageous price and she was met with a very condescending "haha that's not my problem" I am so disappointed I wasted $50 on a terrible dinner and I seriously suggest whoever owns this place they take a deep dive into who they are hiring and they're online false advertising. Really really disappointed. This was genuinely one of the worst if not WORST experience I've had at a restaurant. Horrible. read more

My wife and I came in one Saturday for a late lunch and got seated near the fireplace. The place was cold, but they lit it up for us, so it was cozy. The fireplace is a nice touch, but it's an oil flame. The atmosphere was good. I always like a nice wood fire, but it needs to be kept up. I had the Enchiladas Tres Amigos (rice and beans) and My wife had the Carne Asada (guacamole, rice and beans). I also had a Margarita - no salt, which was good. I really like the Enchiladas with the mole, green and red salsa. Fresh cut lettuce and tomatoes. I would like a little more cheese on it. (I'll ask for that next time.) Also I remember when this dish was served with pickled red onions. Before COVID I got this dish with onion, at this establishment, but the onions weren't good, so they eliminated them I suppose. I do think that the refried beans should have more than Queso Fresco dust on them. Everyone seems to be cutting back. The Carna Asada was good, but my wife asked for Medium rare, warm pink most of the time. I can see that this was a thinner cut, so very difficult to get right. She got it medium well with no pink. I know fresh ingredients and cheese are expensive, so I didn't complain. The meat temperature shouldn't be asked, if you can't get this to a certain temperature or tell the customers that it will be without any pink. I really like this place, they have a lot to offer. I think a wood fire with a screen will help (maybe move some table around, if needed.) Also bring the extras to the food. It will be slightly more expensive, but I think the owners here know that quality food is the goal. There was no one there the Saturday afternoon that we went, and there really should be. Maybe a lot more Social Media Advertising would be good. Go by when you get a chance. This location is good, but it's midway between everything, but it's worth the trip read more

This was our first time here. It all started when we were seated in the bar area, since it was a Saturday night and they were busy. I commented on the loud music and they said they would turn it down. I moved up another table to move away from the speakers, but there were four speakers in a small room. We were handed a menu on an electronic mini pad. We were given chips and salsa. The salsa was just ok. Eventually, the waiter, who it turned out was the owner, took our order. I ordered a chicken dish with mushrooms which was a different menu item than I expected from the online menu, because it had chorizo. I was very clear in asking for chorizo not to be put in my dish, which he said they absolutely could do. The guacamole was ok. My husband loved the Paella Valenciana. The sauce in my chicken dish was delicious. I ate half the dish and saved half to take home. When I packed up the meal, underneath the second piece of chicken was a pile of chorizo. I was furious. I called over the waiter, I expressed my anger over chorizo being in my dish and told him that I would not come back. He said, "Over chorizo?" and was laughing. Then he made excuses about the staff on a Saturday night and asked me to give them another chance on a weekday. Unbelievable! He ended up giving us a dessert for free. But between the chorizo incident, the loud music, the bench seat that was popping up, other staff that made mistakes, and a messy bathroom with no paper towels, there is no reason to go back. read more

My only complaints are that the hard taco shell wasn't hard at all and fell apart immediately when I tried to pick it up. Also the menu only features two combination entree choices. I like to be able to choose different foods in a combination platter, which many Mexican restaurants feature, and this restaurant one only had two pre-chosen platters to choose from and one was a vegetarian choice. Upon ordering some fantastic frozen margaritas, we were served fresh tortilla chips with salsa. But don't fill up on those because the dishes were terrific too. This is a little gem of a Mexican restaurant! A friendly welcome at the door and we are seated in a nice atmosphere. Next, the acid test.. how are the margaritas? I got a frozen Cadillac and have to say it was one of the best I've had. super creamy and just the right amount of Gran Marnier. Next ordered enchiladas to sample all their sauces. No skimping on sauces and they were delicious. Lastly, there was a small ad on the table with desserts, which I could not resist. Don't remember the name but vanilla with caramel ice cream covered in frozen chocolate. (edit: Dulce De Leche) It was excellent and the bill was quite reasonable.
