    Colored chips with salsa dip

Our first time here. We were heading to another location. We had passed here before. Always commenting on one day coming here. Now we did. This location is in Rte 82 in Fishkill The interior is very big. We were offered a choice between booth or table we chose table. We were giving a dish with colored chips and a sauce. Not spicy. The staff asked if I prefer guacamole.which I would I ordered 2 tacos J didn't want the rice or beans. My tacos are very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I definitely would come back. I recommend it. They are changing the name to Guadalupe Mix.

Food was great! Everything about this place is amazing!!!! My husband doesn't like cilantro and they catered to that request. We had an amazing night with my sister's bday. Had margarita, mojito, guacamoles and more!! The serving was big as well. Our server was amazing, he sees to it that we get everything that we need! He even told us to order the biggest glass for mojito next time and showed us the glass! Ambiance was perfect feels like I was in Mexico!! Over-all will definitely be coming back!!!

Coconut margarita and coconut mojito were fantastic!

My husband and I have been trying different places in the area on Friday nights in my quest for the perfect margarita. This spot has a fantastic coconut margarita. I usually go for the regular ones, but the coconut caught my eye, and I'm glad I indulged. DELICIOUS! We also had the nachos as an appetizer, and they were the best nachos I've had in a while, so I knew the food would be great, and it was! My shrimp burrito was so fresh and so tasty! The service was fabulous too! I loved the beautiful decor inside, and I know we'll be back soon!

Tried this spot yesterday. We rarely find ourselves this far North on Rt.6, but when we do, we will Definitely hit this spot again. Service was great. Drinks where delicious. Place is pretty big yet still cozy. I don't think you would be disappointed if you enjoy great authentic Mexican. Enjoy!!

Visited here tonight for a late night family dinner. We were greeted by the host who promptly seated us. They have amazing chips and tasty salsa which my kids quickly gobbled up before our meal. We ordered a kid's burrito, kid's tacos and two adult burritos. The food was very tasty! Portions were huge and everyone left feeling full and satisfied. We will definitely be back again!

    Tijuana Birria Combo Special- 10/10

Every week I get a text from Tijuana telling me the specials and every week I glance at it before ignoring it. For whatever reason, this week I paid attention and decided to go. 10/10 great decision The food here is INCREDIBLE. The steak nachos were the best nachos I've had in my 25 years of life. This week they had a Birria Combo Special where you could get a quesadilla, 2 chimichangas, and 2 tacos with consommé for dipping all for $30. My boyfriend and I ordered the nachos and the combo special and ended up being stuffed. It was soo good. The ambiance is also really nice with colorful decorations and Mexican music. Lastly, the service was wonderful. Jorge was very attentive and nice. Would definitely suggest eating here!

I'm visiting from LA California and let me tell you the food is authentic, warming and is absolutely so delicious. It taste like when I go to Tijuana. Besides Claudia was incredibly friendly always with a beautiful smile. Claudia was constantly checking to make sure we were doing good or if we needed anything else. When I come back to visit definitely will come to eat here again

It's one of those places where you can immediately tell the owners care about both the food and the overall experience. The atmosphere is beautiful. The restaurant has a classy, Great Gatsby-inspired feel with elegant décor, plenty of space, and a spotless dining area. I loved the attention to detail, and the bar area is especially charming--it's the kind of place where you could easily stop in just for a glass of wine. We started with the hummus served with warm pita bread, and it was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. The chicken empanadas were another favorite--crispy, flavorful, and served with fresh pico de gallo that complemented them perfectly. I also enjoyed a glass of wine, and it paired beautifully with the meal. What impressed me the most was the hospitality. My daughter wanted fries, even though they weren't on the menu, and the chef was kind enough to prepare a fresh order just for her. That thoughtful gesture meant so much and really showed how much they care about their guests. The service was exceptional. The chef came out to greet us, and our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Before we left, they mentioned they have live music on certain nights, which gave us yet another reason to come back. This is truly one of Beacon's hidden gems. Between the delicious food, beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality, it's a place I'll happily recommend. We already know we'll be back!

The atmosphere is elegant and refined. The service was fantastic and our server was extremely knowledgeable. The Iberico Secreto was one of the best meat dishes I've ever had. Really 4 1/2 stars. Almost a perfect 5 stars - see below…read more What a nice complete dining experience from start to finish Great friendly staff- we started with very easy to use valet parking. Vida is a beautiful restaurant with both downstairs and upstairs elegant indoor dining areas. No wonder Westchester Magazine gave Vida an award for dining room/bar decor. A top feature includes elegant sconce ceiling lights and a formal dining room table for 12 placed on an Indian tapestry rug in the upstairs dining room. The outdoor area is very well designed. The restaurant designer deserves major credit for taking a porch overlooking two major roads and cutting down poor view scapes and noise. Your eyes while standing and sitting at tables along the porch edge are drawn towards the curtains and well designed wooden features. Roadway noise is minimized and allows conversation. The food is unique- no standard Westchester lasagna or meatballs here. We had tasty crispy zucchini ( $22) flowers stuffed with fresh ricotta. The small plate had two flowers, three would have been better for the price. The next small plate was 3 sea scallops ($24) with a stacked diced tomato and cucumber salad. Very fresh with a nice sauce. Here again, 4 scallops would have been nice for the small plate price of $24. The third and 4th small plate with crispy 1/2 sized small potatoes ($18) with a spicy cumin or paprika based creama. Excellent hearty dish with the carbs needed for a full belly for two people. The 4th small plate ($28) was the winner - crispy rice stacked with fresh tuna steak and vegetables. A delicious memorable dish. Great spice use. The two mocktails were excellent along with a cold16 ounce pilsner and a large 6 oz + pour Chardonnay. If you are looking for a different place to go for a memorable diner- Vida is highly recommended. Yes. It's a bit pricey- but the dining experience is superb. Note- if it's important to you- bring cash, a $5 charge for credit card use.

The inside was a tad dark, and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, which was to be expected given our large group size and the various other tables they had to attend to. The food, overall, was excellent, with this being the first Spain-ish (last time I'll use this bad joke) spot that reminded me of the Ironbound in Newark. In terms of drinks, they have the usual sangria, wines, sherry, and some standard cocktails, but I went with something that's not commonly found in the city. That was the Tinto de Verano, a refreshing mix of red wine and lemon soda, which I believe was around $12. This is a more local drink from Spain, and I was happy to see it here. They also have the Basque drink Kalimotxo, a mix of red wine and Coca-Cola, for $9. They gave us some bread to begin with, which was munched on and soon used with their delicious sauces. As for the rest of the food, we stuck primarily to tapas, aside from a paella. The first thing that arrived was unfortunately something that I couldn't eat, as I have a cephalopod allergy. This was the delicious-smelling Pulpo a la Gallega for $22, consisting of sliced boiled octopus with paprika, salt, and olive oil. The rest of the people loved it, and from serving it to some people, I could tell it was fork-tender. Outside of the pulpo, we got two other seafood tapas. The $16 Vieras a la Casuela, or scallop casserole with red & green peppers, paprika, and olive oil, was delicious. There were plenty of plump scallops with a mild sweetness accentuated by the olive oil and paprika. The $14 Gambas al Ajillo, or prawns in garlic & white wine, was also excellent. The shrimp were cooked very nicely, and the garlic flavor was as strong as it should be. One of the earlier things to arrive was, ironically, my least favorite. This was the $15 Pimientos de Piquillo Rellenos, or Piquillo peppers stuffed with tuna, egg, olives & vegetables. The dish was cool as expected, and while I liked the sauce, I didn't find the texture appealing. The flavor was a bit light for me as well. Next came an excellent version of Tortilla Española for $13, a Spanish omelette with potatoes & onions. A lot of the other Spanish places mess up the texture, but this was perfectly soft and tender. There were plenty of potatoes in there as well, with the onions only mildly cooked down, which added a little bite. There were also two dishes featuring Serrano ham. One was the tasty $13 Judías Salteadas con Jamón Serrano, or sautéed green beans with said ham. The green beans had a nice texture, and the salty ham added a pleasant bite. The other dish with this ham was the Garbanzos a la Española, which was slightly more expensive but also better. For $16, this consisted of roasted garbanzos sautéed with Serrano ham & chorizo. I was surprised I liked this more, as I usually don't like these beans much, but the mixture was very pleasant with the chorizo adding some nice spice. We also ordered two other dishes with chorizo. First was the excellent Huevos al Antojo for $16 with cottage fries, egg, grilled chorizo, and red peppers. This almost felt like a fancy breakfast option with the thin-cut cottage fries having a nice texture, especially when mixed with the runny fried egg. The chorizo and red peppers added a necessary spice to this dish. Otherwise, there was the simpler Chorizo al Vino, or chorizo in wine sauce, for $14. This was as good as can be expected for such a plain dish, but it was still tasty. Rounding out the tapas was the $9 Patatas Bravas, or spicy potatoes with a cooling white sauce, which was pretty good too. I've had this in plenty of places, and this was decent. I have liked the texture more in some other places, but it was still good and was plenty piquant. Our remaining main dish was the $48 Paella Valencia, which had a mix of seafood and meat. The seafood included one of my allergens, but they removed it, so I was fine eating that dish. Otherwise, I believe the remaining ingredients, aside from the spices and peppers, were mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, chicken, and chorizo. All the seafood inside was cooked nicely, and the rice had a good flavor. This was an excellent paella, and the portion size was quite large, still served in the large vessel it was cooked in. The remaining dish was dessert, the $9 Tarta de Santiago, or Spanish almond cake, served with vanilla ice cream, which might have been an extra charge, but I'm not positive. The cake had a marzipan flavor and was lightly sweet. It was a satisfying end to the meal. We had a very good meal here. No particular favorites, as everything was very tasty overall.
