Chill and laid back , with pin ball machines, board games and darts. For those who drink beer, there were tons of options. It really is surprising to me how so many restaurants in the area that claim to offer "authentic Mexican" seem to care so little about the quality of their tacos. My chicken tacos were simply plain grilled chicken on tortillas with a couple pieces of radish and 2 lime wedges on the side. No cilantro, no onion, no cojita, and the tortillas weren't slightly grilled the way most people like. My expectations were severely dashed as soon as I saw what they looked like. I know how much Mexicans take pride in their tacos, and I believe Mexicans are some of the most culinarily gifted people walking this earth. So my question is why do so many Mexican spots, especially this new one, put forth such half-assed effort into their tacos. I hope the decision makers of this place read this and take my advice, sell better tacos. It's a nice atmosphere, decorated well, with a nice bar that has as big a selection of tequila as I've seen around here.
