Super easy and fast take out order. Order was ready in less than 10 mins and it's a fast checkout. It's cute inside if you were to eat inside there is a lot of tables. Parking is tricky because it shares with Starbucks and they also have a drive thru. There could be a designated to go parking spot. Things that can be improved: certain parts of the floor is wet, should be mopped up. I was invited to go to Tijuana Flats as a last-minute thing! I decided to accept because I didn't feel like cooking dinner that night! It had been quite a while since my last visit to any Tijuana Flats but this one was one I hadn't ever visited. This location was fairly busy for a Wednesday night. There was no problem with finding a table, tho. The food came out relatively quick and was delivered to the table, as opposed to us waiting at the counter like a take-out meal. It was all prepared just as ordered and the portions were great. The restaurant was exceptionally clean given the amount of people that were eating at the time. Lee M was our all around girl when we visited Tijuana Flat in Ponte Vedra. We felt so welcome, and Lee gave us the royal treatment. We felt like a king and queen. Flautas were hot and tasty. Customer service was a 10/10! The cashier was friendly and informative. She was helpful. One worker brought the food to our table since we were seated. And later checked on us. Update. I had gone in to pick up an order for someone else and the manager was right there so I asked him about my previous problems since no one would email me back. Even with that comment saying to email xyz. He told me that they changed the recipe for the chimichanga and if I want it how I got it back in the day I need to ask for no queso. I went ahead and ordered 1 the way we talked about with no queso and it was good with a crunch! No wet mush! We also got a steak burrito which was good too! During COVID-19 we've been ordering in takeout. We were craving Tijuana Flats, so that's what we ordered. Their online ordering system is easy. I placed my order (beef chimichanga, with queso and a side of guac), and my husband got a burrito. We opted to do pickup. Went to the front counter to check to see where our order was, and they said they didn't have a ticket, waited a few minutes and saw a bunch of different orders on tables, based on which ordering platform you ordered from. Our order was there, just under my husband's first name. We got our meal home and everything was made the way we liked it. I popped mine in the oven for a few minutes, because we don't live right around the corner. A few minutes in the oven was perfect, as the chips came out crisp. The guac tasted super fresh. The chimichanga was delicious, crisp outside, and the beef was nicely seasoned. It was our first visit to the Nocatee Town Center and there is a lot happening there! This was also our first visit to Tijuana Flats, so we can check off two adventure boxes for this one. This was also our first Tex-mex place in a really long time, so we broke a lot of new ground with this outing. The restaurant is colorful and clean. The server was polite and was willing to answer any questions that we had about the menu and even give us some suggestions. As we waiting for our food we got to explore the myriad of sauce options. Unfortunately, they were out of the Georgia Peach & Vidalia hot sauce, which I really wanted to try, but there were still some good ones left. They also had social-distancing reminders on the floor, which was nice to see. Fast-forward, we got home and dug into the food. I ordered the steak fajita tacos. They were good, but I think I was expecting something a little more fancy based on the really exuberant marketing of the new product. They were, essentially, tacos with fajita steak and vegetables. I don't want to downplay, they were good, but I guess I was expecting a little more. That said, I think it can be a really versatile offering and could be offered on a bowl of lettuce for a low-carb option. Went for the Elite event June 2022. Tried the dueling quesos. Good chips. Queso was OK. No salsa. I had the BBQ pork tacos. They were good. Not really wowed though. Guests had Tijuana pork chimi and shrimp tacos. They were OK. This seems like more of a to go, affordable options place for families. The lack of salsa and emphasis on bottled sauces in vats is weird. Probably won't be back. read more

They were kind of dry, but the salsa gave it a little more juice. The Nocatee location used to be decent. Went last night. They were not busy. My drink was empty, so I removed the lid. Within ten minutes, three workers passed me, looked at my cup and kept walking. They even had the balls to refill someone else's cup. So I went up to counter with my cup. An employee, was filling up a drink, looks at me as I was holding up my cup, puts the lid on his ( personal cup) and walks away. The person waiting next to me says" That really did not just happen did it?" "Did they just blatantly ignore you"? They sure did ,I replied. She was so pissed that she says out loud, "Excuse me, this person is waiting here for a refill, and you just ignore him?" Only then did I get a refill after 15-20 mins of waiting. You service hot sauce on demand, don't you think people may need drink refills for other then you friends tables? Second issue was , When you buy a large side of chips a salsa, they would refill it ( when you are dining in). No more apparently. I was told that I have to buy a whole new order to get more. I remember not only did they refill, they used to give you some to take home. I asked that manager when did this change, she could not answer me. We have eaten at this location often over the past couple of years. The cleanliness and food at this location are continually declining. Upon entering the restroom this past Saturday I was blown away by the mess that was in front of me. I could understand if it was late in the evening following a rush but this was shortly after they opened. Toilet paper all over the floor, toilet absolutely disgusting, toilet hasn't been properly cleaned probably ever. Walls are gross, floor had feces around the toilet and hasn't been cleaned in forever. I made mention of this to the gentleman at the register to only receive a "ok". Service - gentleman at the counter looked like he just returned from a week long bender and had zero interest in being there. I understand getting employees is tough right now, but this guy represents the business! Food- we ordered 4 items and asked for no dairy on any of them. We get home to find they added sour cream to my spouses burrito after specifically asking them to take it out. We had a bowl missing the guacamole, no explanation. We had another meal missing the guacamole, too. Maybe they were out but there was no mention of it when ordering. Making food shouldn't be this complicated, but seeing how the store is ran, the expectations of a higher standard seems to escape them.
