My wife loves Mediterranean food so we try various places and usually have some interesting stories. This place, however, was a pure delight! She took one bite of her gyro, didn't even finish her first chew and just froze. ... I sat there, waiting to see if the cause of her odd pause was good or bad... and her eyes slowly widened in awe. Side note: My lovely Yankee bride never speaks with food in her mouth. It's rude! I've actually seen her frantically grab a napkin, spit her half chewed food into it and ONLY then yell out a warning to a man and woman who's baby was about to topple its high chair. Back to the main story: With a mouth half full of gyro she silently uttered "Oh my God... this is amazing...." Almost 22 years of marriage and this is the first time I've seen her talk with food in her mouth. I ordered the steak tikka plate with some sides I couldn't name and everything was wonderful. I ordered a variety of items without knowing wth they were, and I even found myself stopping in surprise at the unexpected flavors. Owner is an awesome guy and he's a one man show. Ok, wife is ready to leave and I'm getting the stink eye. Oh, and the hummus was orange? Tasted like hummus, just never seen that particular shade of color before. read more

After a late evening at work, I was craving fresh and exciting so I decided on Mediterranean and found a place close to my workplace. Being that it was my first time there, I ordered 3 different platters and a double side order of falafel. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside, and flavorful on the inside. Only 4 of the 8 made it home. I am, in fact, having the remaining 4 for breakfast as I type this. The Gyro platter was some of the tastiest I've ever had also. I also got the Chicken Tikka and the Beef Tikka platters, and yes, I sampled them all. I had a choice of six toppings and opted for the same on all 3 platters: lettuce, Tzatziki sauce, AND salsa, black beans, and a phenomenal cilantro-lime corn mix, making it the perfect fusion of Mediterranean and Mexican. Unlike other places where the fare is often dried out and unappetizing by closing time, the meats in my platters were incredibly moist and tender and the toppings were fresh and tasty. I originally reviewed Tikka Kabab and gave them a very favorable review in January of 2018, but I can't see it now. I've been back a couple times recently, and this joint has become one of my favorites. I had the chicken tikka plate today with brown rice, black beans, fresh salsa (tomato, red onion, cilantro and lime juice, I think), corn and topped with tzatziki sauce. IT. WAS. TASTY. Brown rice can be chewy sometimes, but this was cooked perfectly. The chicken has a nice, spicy kick to it but by no means hot. The tzatziki was a great complement to the spiciness of the chicken. I mixed everything together to make a "bowl". Again, it was tasty...and healthy. There are so many options (toppings, etc.) that you can create a different meal whenever you go. The place is clean, and the owner is very friendly, accommodating and does a great job of explaining the food and your options. read more

I recently dined at Tikka Kabab, and it was a truly delightful experience. The owner, who runs the restaurant by himself, was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The cozy, inviting ambiance added to the charm, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The tikka kababs were perfectly seasoned and grilled, bursting with flavor. Food: excellent, so delicious, everything is so fresh, well cook, they serve you good enough. George's choice: gyro sandwich with fries! You'll love it. Place: easy to get there, lot of parking lots. The only thing I didn't like about it is that the tables and chairs are not that comfortable... but who cares if you are going to be only 15 minutes. Service: this guys are awesome! Ordered my food online through grubhub, waited ~20 minutes, drove to pick it up, was greeted warmly by the owner, watched the finishing touches get added to my to-go order, got asked if everything looked okay/abundant enough, and walked out within 3 minutes. as if the service wasn't already incredible, the food was so good it made this normally plant-based eater try the chicken tikka :-) I will be coming back for the food, but also to support the kind man who served me (the owner, I think). I love this place. Mediterranean is my favorite food. I've been all over Tulsa area and this is by far my favorite!! The owner is always very kind & helpful. It's very clean and well kept. I order the Mediterranean combo. It's delicious the chicken is moist with a burst of badass flavorings. It's a lil spicy but so good. The hummus is awesome I always get extra the pita hands down the best makes it in house. And most importantly the servings are huge so you may have some late night fire leftovers!! also they sell great drinks I always get the guava drink it's bomb!! read more

Had late lunch here yesterday with my adult daughter. We both had the Chicken Tikka Plate and we both loved it. The food was very flavorful and the portions were huge (we needed a large take-home container for the leftovers)! Because of the time of day, we were the only customers in the restaurant so I was able to have a very pleasant conversation with the owner about everything from Halal food preparation to celebrating Ramadan. I'm a door dasher and I had seen this place before; but I'm usually not this area so I almost forgot about this place. I had some time so I decided to come try it. I walked in and the Owner greeted me. Very nice man. I wanted to try some kebab, he made sure that I would get the best plate possible. It was amazing, very flavorful! This was mine, and my buddies first time eating here. The atmosphere is great. Along with the wrestling on the TV. (Took me back to being a kid) haha. The owner was super nice, and really great to speak with. The food was top notch. I've had several Mediterranean/Gyro places in town, and this one by far was my favorite. This place is underrated, it's some of the best food around and the owner has a giant menu and will actually come out and talk to you and fully treat you like family. I went in to eat all alone which is kinda depressing and we ended up sitting there and talking for around 30minutes while I ate. the food was amazing and he brought it out to me really fast. this is one of the few actual diamonds in the rough. read more

I came in here earlier today because it was the closest Mediterranean place that was around because I was reallyyyyy craving it, so I tried it and it was super good. We have been looking for good gyros since we moved to Tulsa a few years ago. This place is the BEST in the area. My partner and I both had gyros and fries and it was fantastic.
