To start, the appetizers were instant hits. The chicken meatballs were full and flavorful, and it was very clear that they were hand-made because we could see the herbs inside. The mother sauce gave them a second layer of flavor upon dipping the meatballs in it. Then the lobster bisque totally blew my mind because it was so flavorful that I thought it was the best I had ever had. I could taste the heavy cream easily and I thought the sherry and brandy did a fantastic job in diversifying the flavors with the existing seasoning. We also loved how big the portion was for the hashbrowns and thought the gouda cheese had the right consistency to provide flavor and texture, while the caramelized onions gave a layer of sweetness which was refreshing because I don't often see that with hashbrowns, if at all. The mushroom risotto was also full of flavor, especially since it had truffle oil, making it full of umami. I also really enjoyed the tiramisu, as it was soft enough and had layers of ingredients that were clearly divided and defined. Relatively I enjoyed the pappardelle grilled chicken less because the chicken was hard to chew and the tomatoes didn't really help elevate the overall flavor. I also thought that the crème brûlée had too much egg yolk flavor, and since I make this dessert myself often, I knew it was because they didn't put enough sugar into the yolk, sugar, and heavy cream mixture. I would recommend adding more sugar to help overcome the yolk flavor. Despite my slight criticism, I still thought this was arguably the best Italian food that I have had in the entire state, and I would most definitely return if I come by Rochester again. Oh, I was also given a free limoncello shot for my birthday, which was insanely strong so I mixed it with my cocktail drink and it actually helped elevate my drink's flavor.

If you are a new customer you can join their rewards program and get 10% off your first purchase, so we got the large Chicago Style Pizza with Sausage, Onions, Green Peppers. My dad said the double dough pizza is really good too. They bring the pizza out piping hot in the cardboard box, and it was superb. They don't skimp on the cheese here that's for sure. I would have liked a little more sauce with my pizza. But the taste was superb and quality was very good. Crust was flavorful, you will want to eat it all - maybe dip it in garlic butter or some red sauce. The large was plenty for 3 of us as we had about 3 large slices left over to take home. They do specials here, today was a pasta special but we were set on the pizza which was good enough. I gave them 5-stars because the food was really good and the service was helpful and attentive. I think they could tweak a couple of things to make it better - - for example we wanted ice water but they do not have an ice machine (huh?). So we got lukewarm tap water from their sink. Tasted fine, but I think an ice machine would be nice added touch. I think maybe they want you to buy the bottled water. Also - I think when they serve pizza in-house, they should serve it on a platter, and then when there are leftovers to give the customer the right-sized (smaller) box. We only had 3 pieces left yet had to take the very large box home which doesn't fit in the fridge. Plus it's waste and over utilization. We could have gotten smaller to-go boxes, that way it's a win win for everyone. But overall we were very happy with our meal here. I would definitely come back, and I wish I had more time to try their double dough pizza as my dad said he really likes it.
