I can wholeheartedly recommend Vincent! He is actually starting another large job for me in two days. I meant to write this review last fall when Vincent installed over 1600 sf of porcelain floor tile downstairs in our home. We have cats and dogs and they have been hard on our home. We chose an American Olean 24x24" lightly polished tile. At the same time we did the floors, we were in the middle of remodeling 2 master baths, using a general contractor, and that was Not going well. So I knew I needed a great tile guy. I met Vincent at a tile store- he was there helping a client, and I liked that. One of our best decisions ever! Vincent and his assistant were/are so amazing - very professional, nice, easy to work with. Just such a pleasure. They had to tear out carpet in our living and dining rooms, hardwood flooring in the family room and a bedroom, and ceramic tile in the entry, laundry and powder rooms. They kept the mess to a minimum and just kept moving right along. They also primed the concrete foundation with Kilz primer before laying the new tile, as our dumb (but lovable) cats have peed here (and there). And they primed about 1' up the walls with Kilz for us. You will see the walls with the primer in the pix, as we are still remodeling. Anyway, the final floors look gorgeous. We are so thrilled that Vincent is starting in two days on the upstairs for us - he will be laying the same tile in our master bedroom and the upstairs hallway (800+ sf), but using 12x24 tile and setting it in a herringbone pattern, on the diagonal. I will post pics when that is done. Oh, Vincent also did my master bath countertop for me - I became disgusted with my contractor and asked Vince to do that. read more

I hired Vince to put ledger stone on my fireplace. While doing the stone he paid great attention to detail. His craftsmanship is outstanding. We also encountered a small challenge with the hearth which Vince undertook and completed perfectly. We are very impressed with Vince's work. I was recently referred to Vincent by one my coworkers. I wanted to turn an old shower with an old tub into a all tile walking shower with a rain style shower head. I gave him a call and set up an appointment. He was very on time and knocked on my door on the dot. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the measurements and answered all of my questions. The next day he emailed me an estimate which was much better than anybody else. We agreed on a start day. Because of work I gave him a key to my house and he would come in the morning and leave when he was done. He was very clean and detail oriented. I always hated having construction done at my house because of the mess but he made it so easy and painless. Once he was done he helped install all the new vanities and assured me that he would come back if there was any issues. The bathroom looks amazin and I am very happy with his work. We hired Vincent to tile our kitchen, dining and hall areas. His brother Tony did the tiling (vincent had an injury but got Tony in right away). Tony is a really nice guy, genuinely concerned to do the best job possible. My Father does some construction himself and wanted to make sure the job was done well, and he really like working with Tony. The tiles look fantastic and Vincent wrapped thing up by cutting the baseboards and putting them in. He and Tony are so nice, easy to work with, and reasonably priced too! I can't say enough about Vincent! (Tile by Vincent). He came highly recommended by a friend/neighbor although we did interview other tile contractors. He was so knowledgeable on the specific tile we wanted which was Saltillo tile in our kitchen, entry, downstairs bath/closet. He's more than a contractor, he's an artist as well! It is always scary when you choose a contractor. Every now and then you are lucky enough to find one that not only does an incredible job but is honest, reliable and lives up to all his promises. We were redoing our downstairs flooring and wanted to do Saltillo Mexican tiles that are not easy to install as they require sealing before and after. We got 3 quotes for the job. Vincent took the time to explain each aspect of the job and how he planned to proceed with the job. We were also redoing our kitchen and he gave us suggestions on how to make sure the job not only went perfectly but also was completed in a timely manner. He was completely honest about the issues we would have because of our unique requirements and made sure he took care of any issues we had.
