Yes yes yes. The bagels are so chewy and I love the combos that they have as opposed to just the typical LOX combo. The bagels came out pretty quickly and the cashiers were kind which is always a plus. Smaller seats for children. Lovely little bagel place. The only downside I see is that they use white flour as opposed to whole wheat. And they don't have a lot of sugary options available (like cinnamon crunch, blueberry, etc). But America needs less sugar so it's all good. read more

Prior to this location opening up, i visited their south loop location. The bagels were good but the wait time even online is insane. Over an hour for a couple of bagels. Didn't really feel like dealing with that especially in the south loop with no parking. Then they opened up this location, with the same insane crazy wait times. Parking is still challenging in the Fulton Market area but not as bad as the south loop. Fortunately for me, I was prepared for that and ordered an hour ahead. We arrived right around the promised time and they had just finished bagging our order. We ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a plain bagel with blueberry and a Chicago bagel with giardiniera. All the bagels were good, but this Chicago bagel with giardiniera was different. And different in a good way. The spice from the Giardiniera was perfect. I would have preferred more of a relish type of the giardiniera mixed in with the cream cheese instead of thicker pieces of peppers but overall a tasty bagel the would get again. read more

The potato inside was like freshly made hash brown with its own good taste of its own and well seasoned. Caramelized onion cream cheese itself doesn't have the onion flavor, it tbh tasted like a regular cream cheese so doesn't shine through. WOW! The new bagel the smoked brisket is incredible. Honestly one of the best bagels I have had. In order online and I'm able to pick up within an hour. I love coming to Tilly's to stock up on bagels for the week! Everything here is so fresh and I love how you can see the bagels being made in the back. They have a great selection of classic bagels but my favorite is the weekly bagel flavors that they have. Some notable previous one are kimchi, Thai red curry, and gingerbread. They're all so good and you never know what you're going to get! Not to mention despite always being busy, the service here is great and they are all very kind. Everything was hot, crispy, flavorful, and the bagel had that perfect balance of chewy and soft. It was messy in the best way. I also got a matcha but the way they do it is kind of a DIY situation. They hand you a plain matcha and send you to a little syrup bar to customize it yourself. Cute idea but not helpful if you don't know how to make matcha. I had no clue how much syrup to add and ended up with something that tasted off. Next time I'll probably skip the matcha or ask if they can just make it for me. Cool vibe overall though. After living in New York City for 11 years and being inundated with delicious bagel options, this is what I was most nervous about moving back to Chicago. There are extremely limited bagel options in Chicago, but Tilly's was recommended by a northeasterner, as well as a few that were a drive out of the city. Tried Tilly's after a local workout class and it was fine! Relative to nyc bagels, it was fine. Relative to Chicago bagels, it was pretty good. They had good options for bagels, cream cheeses, and specialty sandwiches. I ordered everything bagel with scallion cream cheese (my regular) and was surprised that it was pretty decent. Would I go here again? Sure. But I also did just pack 8 bagels in my carry on from my recent trip to nyc, so I may be okay for awhile. read more
