Vert cute place.

Cure place good service and good. Avocado toast and chai tea for me! Pancakes and coffee for the hubs. Delicious

Breakfast was good as well as the Bloody Mary. I think pricing was steep for an omelet?!!!

Avocado, toast, and chai tea

I normally don't care for organic health for you restaurants but this one was definitely worth a stop. I had the cornbread pancake with blueberries on top and my wife had the avocado toast. Both were delicious. Totally recommend this place.

Nice lil spot in town. Friendly service, clean and good selection. I was out with my baby and needed a coffee! We sat for a little bit, (high chairs are available) in a booth which was great so he could move around and I could block him in. Ordered a seasonal fruit bowl and a large dirty chai with whipped cream. I only got one shot of espresso but should've got two! Wasn't strong enough for me. Whipped cream tasted like the good stuff- made in house. The chai was lovely. The fruit was delicious and made my baby happy. Cafe wasn't too busy and the staff was very friendly, offering to grab a high chair if I wanted it. There was no loud music playing which was nice but it wasn't awkwardly quiet, could hear people talking and even my child's baby talk didn't seem out of place. I also noticed they had children's books which is a nice touch!

I came here based on the YELP reviews and that my cat is named Tilly. Well this place is named after a dog, but the other YELP reviews are right. Cute coffee place with good sandwiches and they make a fine cup of cappuccino. The breakfast sandwich is a winner thanks to the fresh baked biscuit. Nice sunny interior, friendly service. They have some beautiful vases for sale.

Avocado toast on GF bread, seasonal salad. Delish!

This was a wonderful stop, while traveling. Lovely, peaceful, yet upbeat atmosphere. Food was excellent. Avocado toast on GF bread is to die for! Seasonal Salad fresh and delicious. My husband - typically a chicken nuggets guy - enjoyed his ham & cheese on seeded bread. His remarks "delicious!" Cappuccino and a strawberry lemonade were both winners. Clean and fresh cafe. Very well done. Kudos - and Thank You! An excellent experience.

Ordered Breakfast Biscuit and surprisingly filling. To drink had the Arnold Palmer. Would definitely recommend this place if in the area for breakfast/brunch.

Food was great, fresh, and safe for our Celiac allergies. It will be a must visit when we are in town. Thank you!

Excellent! Fabulous bread. Had the avocado toast and a cup of chicken lentil soup. If the cup had been bottomless I would still be there.

Great coffee, high quality food, light-filled space and comfortable booths. A required stop in Rhinelander.

I love how friendly the staff and atmosphere is even on busy times. My son and I just had breakfast with my niece and her two young daughters yesterday morning during Memorial Day weekend and our service was great! Shout out to our server, Brenda. Our order was served quickly and very tasty. That's one thing that always surprises me is no matter how busy the place is, your food comes out fast. It has become a family tradition to eat breakfast here as a family whenever we visit Rhinelander and we look forward to our next visit!

We stopped at Rhinelander Family Restaurant for lunch on May 29, 2026. My wife and I both ordered…read morethe turkey wrap, but what we received was not what was advertised on the menu. The menu photo clearly shows a wrap made with sliced deli turkey, while ours contained cubed chicken and had been grilled. When my wife politely asked the waitress about the discrepancy, she immediately became defensive. She went back to the kitchen and returned saying that because turkey wraps are rarely ordered, they use cubed chicken instead. My wife explained that this was not what we had ordered and that the menu photo showed something completely different. As the waitress walked away, she responded with, "Turkey is turkey." She even told us it was the chicken they used in the chicken dumplings soup they were serving that day. A $33.10 meal we barely touched. My wife also pointed out that the wrap shown in the menu wasn't grilled, while ours was. The waitress replied, "Well, that's how things stay together in the wrap." The conversation continued to deteriorate, and when my wife requested to speak with a manager, the waitress responded, "I doubt she'll care either, just like me." What made this experience especially disappointing is that I had eaten dinner here a couple of weeks ago while attending an event in the area. At that time, both the food and service were excellent. Unfortunately, the poor attitude, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to address a legitimate concern during this visit completely overshadowed the positive experience I had previously. I understand that mistakes happen, but customer service and respectful communication go a long way. Sadly, this visit left us with a very negative impression. I DO NOT recommend Rhinelander family restaurant

No kidding, don't let the gas station vibes throw you, this place has great eats. We walked in through the gas station part of the building and were surprised to see the rustic decor of a medium sized dining area and an adjacent bar. It was a pretty full dining room and we sat ourselves. It didn't look promising as we saw one waitress and one bartender. However, after a brief wait, the waitress came to our table and assured us she would return as quickly as possible to get our drink and food orders. She returned as promised. Our drinks arrived a short time later. They were well made and attention was paid to get us another round as we finished the first. Our table had ribs, prime rib and a French dip sandwich. The portion size was great and the food arrived hot. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce was tasty. The prime rib had great flavor, was prepared as ordered and had very little fat. The French dip was also tasty. Truth be told, a salad bar would make this a true five star rating. The salads served with the meal were nice but very run-of-the-mill. Will we go back in the future? You betcha!
