I needed to do some Christmas shopping as well as get some comfortable pillows for myself. I've had my pillow for over a decade, and it was time to get a new one. I also needed some hand soap and scented candles. As most of us who shop and know Marshalls nationwide, they are known for their great customer service and fair, affordable prices. I also needed to get few toys for kids. Let's not forget that Santa is still stuck in the North Pole.:-) I am not joking. I think it will be easier and faster to go on a dating app and find someone, than the struggle that I have been having to find Santa Claus. After a long search of visiting multiple different stores, the search is FINALLY OVER! Santa found me:-) Was warmly greeted by so many friendly staff that I can't even remember their names. One thing I can say, is that I was treated like ROYALTY! Felt good. Being helped by different people in different aisles. Got everything that I needed and wanted. Paid less than $100.00 not including tax. Great deals every corner of the store. Store was nicely organized.Honestly it felt like family. Parking can be a disaster at times, but the flow is moving pretty fast. They also have an underground parking and the store is shared with numerous businesses. I honestly wish that I could have given them 5 STARS. Mother nature was calling me & I had to use the bathroom. The minute I walked in, I wanted to vomit. It was so disgustingly filthy, dirty, smelly, toilets in all 3 stalls were not flushed. Wet all around the sink, & the floor. Can also be dangerous. Please clean your bathrooms lovely employees at Marshalls!! I will be back.. JUST to use the bathroom! Thank you ALL!!

I needed a birthday gift and happened to drive by this Marshalls. I pulled right into its underground parking structure. When i walked in to the store it was fully stocked , clean , and full of great deals. I found a pair of MK sandals for a great price, got a great perfume, a few body oils. Face mist and body scrubs. at Check out the staff was really friendly. Great Store.

Halloween is here. I visited this store end of July they already had a lot of Halloween merchandises. This store was very organized and clean compared to other Marshalls I have been to. They have a variety selection of merchandise. Employees were nice. I was greeted as I walked in. People working the floor didn't seem annoyed by customers like other Marshalls locations. They had really nice stuff for reasonable prices . they had really nice dresses that they cost fortune in the department stores. They were marked half the price here. Parking can be tricky depending on the time of the day. I parked in the structure since there weren't any spots available. It is a plus to be able to find free parking off the Ventura Blvd.

Ran into this man harassing customers and telling me to leave. Totally unacceptable.

I had a very disturbing and uncomfortable experience at this Marshalls. I was stalked by random man while staff did nothing. A male customer followed me around, told me I had "a bad attitude," said I was "making him uncomfortable," and then actually told me to leave the store. Imagine a random guy harassing shoppers and acting like he runs the place. To make matters worse, the fitting room attendant an older woman with short grey hair and glasses named Naya was openly rude, unprofessional, and made inappropriate comments. She joked in ways that came off racist and antisemitic, and even spoke negatively about customers (including my partner right in front of me) behind their backs but loudly enough for me and others to hear. This is completely unacceptable behavior in any workplace, especially a retail store where customers should feel safe. When I raised my concerns with management, I was told that there have already been complaints about her before. Yet she is still working there. That's unacceptable and shows negligence on management's part. If Marshall's has received multiple complaints about the same person, why is she still being allowed to mistreat customers? I left this store feeling unsafe, disrespected, and shocked at how poorly this was handled. I am reporting this to Marshall's HR directly as well. Until serious changes are made, I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Hadnt been here in a minute and needed a belt ASAP - found plenty in my size and also picked up a pair of work pants in the process . Both items were a great value. Staff were friendly, no line whatsoever, and parking easy - Bravo !

Unprofessional illogical clown working as manager at Marshalls in studio city. They don't honor red sale tags at this location.
    David S.

Unprofessional illogical clown working as manager at Marshalls in studio city. They don't honor red sale tags at this location. They charge the price they want when you get to the register. He insulted me by saying I had interesting logic to believe the sale price was the right price. Then didn't let me purchase the items and when asked when he would remove the 100+ items with the same sale tag, he said he would look into it. Jimmy is a POS store manager unfortunately. He doesn't care to make sales, he is there to excercise his store manager power and not let people buy things at the price they're marked at :(

    Jessica C.

There seems to be some construction around the entrance so you can only enter through the parking structure. It is a very narrow parking garage so take caution. However, there is lots of parking. It was a nice Marshalls and my friend found what they needed (pants and a nice shirt). The lady at the cashier was very nice and friendly! I agree the customer service here was good. There are escalators from the parking garage to Marshalls, so it made it easy to find it and get here.

Prices are very comparable with other similar stores and, if I may say, sometimes you can even find things that are on sale. That's the best part of it. Store was well organized and very clean. I walked in today around 2:30pm and was automatically greeted by an employee that was standing by the main entrance. She gave me a shopping cart and told me enjoy your shopping. This is a very big store and has it's own parking lot right in the front. I needed some bed sheets, pillow cases, one fitted queen size sheet, and that was about it. You know how it goes. Not only did I find what I was looking for, I also found some other things that I liked and could picture them in my home. I got this cute decor for my bathrooms, small round candle holder and a beige color candle. Also for my bathroom. A black color stand that you can put flowers, plants, I also saw this beautiful solid wood breakfast/lunch/dinner tray that you can enjoy in bed or anywhere else. Got 2 Febreze's, different scents, shoulder cover plastic that can protect your clothes from getting dusty & dirty. I also needed 2 soap dispensers and found exactly what I was looking for. Some of the items were on sale. They had 3 cashiers that cleared the line so fast and were very kind & helpful. While waiting in line, you can find other things like beverages, cookies, and other types of snacks. Thank you Home Goods, employees & management!! Very content & happy with my purchases. Some aisles are cluttered, even with merch on the ground, but when a customer dropped something ceramic in the checkout line, I later found pieces not cleaned up. This is both unsafe and unprofessional. I informed an employee at check out. 3) Need more cashiers. 3 out of maybe 7 or 8 registers were open? This is the only HG where long lines didn't move rather quickly. The line was long. I waited 17 minutes to pay. Despite all the negatives, I love that I saw a whole section of artificial flowers in clear glass vases with pretend water. This location also has a lot of throw pillows and even couches! The seasonal and gift selection was overwhelming, in a good way. Valentine's is being pushed earlier, capitalism at its finest. Ditto for Lunar New Year merchandise. Also impressive were the availability of Diwali and Chanukkah products. Appreciate the diversity! I'd come back but after the holidays without the crowds.

I am NOT a fan of Target at ALL!…read more Yesterday, I stopped by this Target around 7:45pm and was looking for some baby clothes/toys that a friend of mine has registered for at this particular store. I looked around to see what I could get for her soon to be born baby girl. Looked around and around and couldn't find anything that really caught my eye and knowing her style, she wouldn't like the items that they had. I was trying to get the attention of someone on the floor, but apparently they were all busy. I had to go and find someone to help me. He said someone will be there shortly. No one came by to help me, I waited for like 10 minutes and walked away. I also wanted to buy a bike for myself. Always wanted to have a bicycle, looked at the prices and they had a great selection of bikes, however, they were expensive. I walked to the register, and out of probably 18 registers, only 5 were open. The line moved quickly though. I ended up buying a gift card and left. They have clothes, electronics, home goods, dishes, glasses, utensils, Starbucks inside, huge section for food/beverages, decor, furniture..(both for home and patio), baby toys, clothes, shoes, detergent, games, sporting goods, accessories, books, magazines, bags/purses, bedding, towels, CD/DVD section and a whole lot more.. If it wasn't for the baby registry, I wouldn't have gone to Target. Have shopped there before, and bought few clothes. Fabric is CHEAP, prices according to the stuff that they sell, is pretty reasonable and affordable. This is a very BIG store. Store was nicely organized and clean.. The lady in front of me had bought two and the guy before her bought two was well. They tried to say the lady was with her daughter who was like 9 years old and they counted her as a paying guest. So if I came here with my 4 kids would they have sold me 5 of the squeezy???!!! I don't think so. If policy states only one per guest then the lady should have been sold only one!!! But of course since I'm a minority I wasn't given that special treatment. Target you need to treat every guest the same. This isn't the first time I've been mistreated or ignored at Target!!!

I was hoping they'd have a little more variety for frozen goods and groceries especially of the non-dairy and vegan friendly variety but it was pretty similar to others nearby which is disappointing. To TJ Maxx Customer Relations,…read more I am writing because I have never experienced customer service this dismissive over something as simple as a legitimate return. I recently purchased an item at TJ Maxx last weekend and had the receipt with me when I went to return it. The receipt was clearly in my possession and was from a recent purchase. When the cashier attempted to scan it, she said the thermal printing was not scanning properly. That is unfortunate, but it is not my responsibility to solve a problem with TJ Maxx's receipt system. The cashier then manually entered a number from the receipt, apparently without being able to verify whether the number had been entered correctly. I was then told that TJ Maxx could not verify my receipt and therefore could not process my return. What happened next is what I find completely unacceptable. I was told that my only option was to drive more than TWO HOURS back to the original TJ Maxx location where I made the purchase. I am sorry, but I am not driving four-plus hours round trip because a receipt that TJ Maxx issued to me is not scanning properly at another TJ Maxx location. I asked whether there was anything else that could be done. I was not asking for special treatment. I had the receipt. I had the merchandise. The purchase was recent. I was simply trying to make a legitimate return. I was even willing to accept a gift card rather than a refund if that would resolve the issue. I was told no. Then I asked to speak with a manager, expecting that someone in a management position might actually try to find a reasonable solution. Unfortunately, the manager did nothing to resolve the situation. No one attempted to verify that the receipt number had been entered correctly. No one appeared willing to investigate the transaction. No one offered a reasonable alternative. I was simply told that there was nothing they could do. So let me make sure I understand the policy being communicated to customers: TJ Maxx can issue a receipt that becomes unreadable or cannot be scanned, an employee can manually enter information from that receipt without even establishing that it was entered correctly, the system can then fail to verify the transaction, and the customer is expected to drive several hours back to the original store to correct a problem that is entirely on TJ Maxx's side. That is an absurd customer experience. What is even more frustrating is that this was not some unreasonable request. I wasn't attempting to return an ancient purchase without proof of purchase. I wasn't asking for an exception to a clearly stated policy. I had a receipt from a purchase made LAST WEEK. The response I received communicated something much worse than simply "we can't process this return." It communicated that once the system failed, nobody in that store cared enough to actually help me. A manager's job should include exercising reasonable judgment when a straightforward customer-service problem arises. Instead, I was essentially told, "Not our problem. Drive two hours." That is not customer service. I would like TJ Maxx Corporate to review this situation and explain why a legitimate receipt could not be verified through any reasonable means, why the manually entered receipt information was not independently checked for accuracy, why no alternative return solution was offered, and why I was expected to absorb the inconvenience and expense created by TJ Maxx's own receipt/system issue. I also expect a resolution regarding the return itself. I should not have to make a four-plus-hour round trip because TJ Maxx was unable or unwilling to verify a receipt for a purchase I made last weekend. I have been a TJ Maxx customer, but this experience has made me seriously reconsider shopping there. Losing a customer over an easily solvable return is one thing. Making that customer feel completely dismissed while doing it is another. I am asking Corporate to do what the store manager refused to do: actually look into the transaction and find a reasonable solution. I look forward to seeing whether TJ Maxx considers this acceptable customer service.
