well took my kids in there to have some fun Sunday night and spent over $130 dollars just to get home and find out the candy my kids picked out with some of there 4500 points is in fact expired not by a month but as in 5/25/2024 the gummy's are hard as a rock....not cool. Come on Tilt do better and half the games took the points so I found myself having to go to the counter and ask for my points back.

The ripoff machine

Had an issue on 3/7, poor experience, today Chris the GM reached out , rock star customer service immediately!!

Rigged card/token redeemer.

Alright so here's my take. I've been coming to tilt for years now, and each time I come in, it's always a just a touch worse. This go around, I was relieved to see new games and new prizes while also preserving the original arcade games. However, this place is plagued with problems. Games will break on you, games will steal your "credits" forcing you to stand in line for 10 minutes so one of the four people on the desk can fix it for you. The biggest problem I have is the card/token redeemer. IT IS rigged to not give you what the games say they give you. The games say you'll win 50 per card, and 3000 per set of cards. It doesn't, we had to argue with the staff twice before the correct amount of tickets were awarded for both me and my mother. I do wish the prizes at the counter were a little more adult friendly. A lot is kid prizes, which is alright, I get it, but still. Overall, it's a cash grab, the huge machines that offer the good prizes will cost 1/20th of your token if you spend the $100 on the cards. And the little machines are so busted with the claw, you'd be better off going to the casino and playing the slots. Photos below are for proof that it is rigged, because it's not what the games say you'll win.

can be fun, but the pricing is pretty bad. 100 pts for 20 dollars, and the games take too many points. not worth the money

You meet up with an old college friend for a meal and then decide to take her to laser tag…read more You both realize after the fact that this was absolutely a date. 15 years later, you're married with three kids and they're old enough to go to Shadowland. Let's go! I was sad when the Columbia location closed down, but Gaithersburg is still rocking and I think this arena is far more interesting than the Columbia one. The arena is the right level of dark with fog machines running too. There are several platforms with various access ramps. My favorite details is that a few platforms have a grate where players can shoot down at others below (watch out, they can shoot up at you too!). There are always rapid fire and mega power Gems for upgrades and a third that rotates by game (invisibility, invulnerability, dark thief), so definitely sign up for 3 games if you can to experience the full rotation. The prices are reasonable, especially in today's economy. There is a water cooler to refresh yourself between games, because you will work up a sweat between the crouching and quick moving around while wearing a phaser pack. It's our favorite workout, to be honest. There is an arcade with a variety of games, including prize games, driving games, and shooting games. The main area also has concessions to snack on. Overall, if you want some workout and fun, check out Shadowland.

The laser tag area and equipment looked good and was approved by the kids. They played two rounds and ate in between. It was a very successful party and according to my son his favorite one. We also got ice cream cake from them and it was good. I would recommend for children's parties.

The okay: some of the staff seemed to be okay with being at work. The place was fairly clean and staff were cleaning throughout our visit. The food was hot, just not tasty. The fries and chicken tasted like freezer burn. I received part of my order within a few minutes; the other park took about 40 minutes. The "do-betters": Customer service is important! The checkin process was confusing and the person (wearing a night scarf) did not seem to want to help. Every patron should be treated like it's the first visit. We were dismissed so we went to another line- much better. You MUST keep eyes on your little ones. The only safety people we saw were the ones who put on the harnesses. Again, we went to a second person to have the harness double checked. I would return. However, I'll be sure to eat before, and I'll be prepared to completely monitor my little one. I gave 3 stars because the children enjoyed themselves.

We've been to Urban Air twice on Saturdays, and it's just a zoo--loud, crowded, and overwhelming,…read moreespecially for smaller kids. My daughter had fun, but many activities felt unstructured. Kids were cutting in line, attendants didn't enforce turns, and parents often had to step in. I even saw older kids hitting younger ones (not related to each other or together). Some attractions, like the dodge jump, were well-managed with attendants controlling lines and timing turns--that's how it should be everywhere. Safety is also a concern; with so many kids running around, it's easy for little ones to wander off. If your child loves chaos and you're prepared to supervise constantly, it's fun. Otherwise, it can be stressful for both kids and parents.
