The good: the price, we appreciated that adults who were not participating did not have to pay. The zip-line was really cool, and the place was not crowded. The okay: some of the staff seemed to be okay with being at work. The place was fairly clean and staff were cleaning throughout our visit. The food was hot, just not tasty. The fries and chicken tasted like freezer burn. I received part of my order within a few minutes; the other park took about 40 minutes. The "do-betters": Customer service is important! The checkin process was confusing and the person (wearing a night scarf) did not seem to want to help. Every patron should be treated like it's the first visit. We were dismissed so we went to another line- much better. You MUST keep eyes on your little ones. The only safety people we saw were the ones who put on the harnesses. Again, we went to a second person to have the harness double checked. I would return. However, I'll be sure to eat before, and I'll be prepared to completely monitor my little one. We've been to Urban Air twice on Saturdays, and it's just a zoo--loud, crowded, and overwhelming, especially for smaller kids. My daughter had fun, but many activities felt unstructured. Kids were cutting in line, attendants didn't enforce turns, and parents often had to step in. I even saw older kids hitting younger ones (not related to each other or together). Some attractions, like the dodge jump, were well-managed with attendants controlling lines and timing turns--that's how it should be everywhere. Safety is also a concern; with so many kids running around, it's easy for little ones to wander off. If your child loves chaos and you're prepared to supervise constantly, it's fun. I recently visited Urban Air, Frederick, MD with my grandchildren. After spending almost $100 on play packages my grandchildren's activities were very limited. They were refused entry to most activities because "they did not have Urban Air socks" (we brought our own trampoline socks) which limited their access to a most activities. The ball pit was closed and a couple other activities were only manned every so often limiting activities as well. This forced me to upgrade the play package and purchase more socks. I feel anyone who is spending what they are charging for a play package should be given socks, and not scalping patron for addition costs. I will NEVER patronize another Urban Air anywhere read more

We came in on a Sunday and I booked a party and used the private rooms. I got the platinum package, which includes everything. The staff was super nice and the party host was attentive. Checking in to meet our party host took a while. You only get 15 minutes to set up for your party. After 2 hours you have to leave the room, but can utilize a table if needed (if available). You can only have 20 people in the party room at a time. The place is VERY noisy and chaotic, but that'sjust the nature of the beast. There are so many attractions for the kids; ball pit, arcade games, trampoline, etc. Some of the attractionsrequire a higher package to be included. The kids had a great time. read more

Kudos to the staff at Urban Air for their attentive and caring attention to my grandson's 9th birthday celebration with his 20 best friends and their accompanying parents. The food was tasty and hot and the variety of rides are mind boggling. The one problem was that my grandson did not want to leave, he was having so much fun, as were his 11 year old sisters. From trampolines which let you dunk a basketball to the zip lines that let you 'fly' over the entire facility and the delightful bumper cars nobody will ever get bored!! This last visit we were in line for over 20 min. just to get to the counter (so purchasing the tickets ahead of time doesn't help because you still need the person at the front counter to give you the bracelets). My kids love this spot! It's so nice! It's my first time coming in here and it was a Saturday around 1:30pm. There was so many kids but my kid was able to do every activity. My kids have been here multiple times with their dad but since it was a birthday party I was able to review the birthday party experience. You have to have their socks to jump in the room and sign a waiver. I like how in the rock climbing section the kids can just unlock their straps by themselves without assistance if they didn't need any. It was sort of a learning curve but I understood how to unclip the straps after being shown the first time. There is food and drinks you can purchase from the concession stand and they have many party rooms for you to throw a party in. This place is very nice! I will definitely come back! The positive side: It's a large facility with variety of games. It's good for all ages. You can find something for your kids regardless of their age. Staff are ok. This place is a freaking joke. I spent $70 for my son and I and at 8 yrs old he's "too tall" for the play area and "too tall" for the go karts. This is a kids play area!!! No one was monitoring the areas and teens were of course knocking down and hurting younger ones. I wanted to do the bumper cars with my son but the girl monitoring that rolled her eyes at me so I stepped away....like why did I bother buying a parent pass?? I'm assuming parents are allowed? The dodge duck dive kid monitoring that walked away and of course kids started touching the stop/start buttons. The absolute last straw was while waiting in the laser tag line the girl let 2 kids in and slammed the gate on my son with no explanation. So what?? He's supposed to laser tag by himself? Our family visited on a Saturday, first thing in the morning, over the summer. At first, there was light staffing, so not everything was open, but if a line formed, the staff would shift around to make sure kids (and parents) got to use the attractions. The zip line was a blast! The ropes course was just challenging enough for an adult or child, but easy enough for anyone not afraid of heights. The bumper cars had only 5 units working, but with the space, it was just right. Laser tag only had 5 working sets, so a 3v2 event happened, but no instruction was given on power ups, bases, etc., besides the basic opening video that played with just essential operation instructions. The dodgeball was fun, but there needs to be someone there supervising. A group of teenagers came and started wailing on little kids, it was kind of sad actually. Same thing for the Ninja Warrior course, there needs to be supervision. People are going both directions through the course, hiding in the ball pits, throwing balls full force at kids, etc. I actually was trying to exit the course, and stepped right onto a teenager hiding in the ball pit. That could have been very bad. Then the kid went right back into hiding. Not safe. The food was overpriced (duh), but it wasn't bad. Definitely better pizza than I expected. For the $127 or whatever the promo was for 2 adults and 3 kids, plus 5 drinks and a pizza, it was a fantastic 5 hours, even after paying for another kid. The AC clearly isn't strong enough, or set low enough, for how many people are in there. Kind of surprising given that this clearly used to be a grocery store. My son ​got bruises ​on his left leg, arm and both feet when the spinning car start to spin as he tried to get in. I provided the first aid care to my child as a manager was questioning how it happen. It happened because the car was turned while he was loading and you didn't have staff helping him load. I took my kids there for my nephew's birthday party. They had a blast on all the different types of structures/activities. The variety of things to do is great and though some things are similar to other indoor playgrounds, the bumper cars were a major hit as was the laser tag! They even have rock climbing and zip lining which the kids all loved. The only feedback would be for the staff to be a little more patient and understanding with the little kids. Unsafe. There is not enough padding around the trampolines. My son broke his femur on the "padding". They refuse to let us see video footage. They moved my son with a broken leg. They will not let me cancel the memberships, only for my son that had the broken leg and I had to supply a doctor's note even though they knew he was injured there. The owner never reached out to us like we were told would happen. so now after surgery, broken leg, and $$$ later they still want their membership money, or you get charged a cancelation fee (no one can tell me where this is listed) in order to cancel it. Well we used to love our weekly visits to Urban Air Adventure Park Frederick. We'd buy pizzas and have a great time. Well awhile ago they asked us to stop bringing our water bottles. I went there to celebrate my daughter's birthday this evening we brought candy bags and cupcakes to celebrate we were stopped at the entrance and told that we couldn't bring in cupcakes because of the health code after speaking with manager Vandula,(spelling may be off but close)... Frederick, Md Park I was a platinum member at the Frederick, Md location since Sept. 2021. Park could be really great if they would have park hours/days for age groups i.e 1-5,6-10 etc. I say this as I have two granddaughters and when they are following the safety rules for the trampoline, you get a man child running at breakneck speed through the establishment and through the trampoline area. I have seen two children hurt, me as a grandparent I approach the violators and state my case, ask them to knock it off or move on and I am met with total disrespect. Go to the management and they are met with the same disregard for authority. The first time this happened, called up, asked to cancel, they cut my platinum membership for 3 kids down to $32 per month! Great deal! However no change to the onsite security and most importantly, have patrons abide by the rules or be removed from the property. Also be aware they are pretty much not liable for any injuries sustained using the facility unless I would think if the injury was attributed to their negligence of providing a safe environment for the kids, i.e man child running in close proximity to much younger kids. Onsite security is non-existent. Older teens are very aggressive nowadays and Urban Air is visited by such. Anyway cancelled my membership for $32 per month, again great deal but I just can't sit by and wait for my granddaughters to be taken out/injured by some out of control Teen who feels entitled to do what he/she wants without any respect or regard to authority. Overly crowded, hard to use obstacles and equipment when nobody is enforcing any type of rules. Young children just playing in the balls so if you was to attempt to use obstacles you would fall on top of them. No time limit on certain obstacles creating long wait times for climbing area. Young adults laying on trampolines and dry humping. A senior manager contacted me with no apologies just excuses and arguing until I hung up. You can spend roughly forty dollars spend nearly four hours inside and do two things properly if you are lucky. A little more staff members placed throughout to move people along instead of allowing them to lay in the balls, complete obstacles multiple times while others are waiting, keep people from cutting lines, keep people from laying on trampolines when people want to use them would help. I saw several young kids with minor injuries but there was no control so not surprised. Forced me to give at least one start but intended to give zero stars! This business advertised on their website and social media that they were offering two hours (9am-11am) on 2/6/22 "Sensory Friendly" time for children with special needs. We arrived at 9am on 2/6/22 to find the doors locked, no employees present, no signs on the doors, no adjustments to social media or their website, and no one answering their phone. It was 26 degrees outside and we waited over 30 minutes to get in contact from someone employed by Urban Air. We have children with special needs who are now in crisis over this change in schedule on top of disappointment and anxiety. We still have not been contacted by the company despite several attempts to reach out via phone, email and social media. A disaster of a business but a true disgrace for claiming to support the special needs community. This is unacceptable on so many levels. Please don't support this business. read more

Things have went downhill here since our last visit. The past 2 visits the pro trampolines were closed, not sure why. We let that go. This time dodgeball was pretty much unmonitored, leading to one never-ending game with way too many kids on the court because no one ever got "out". Battle beam was also unmonitored, leading to many small children just hanging out in the foam pit, including one kid who buried himself under the foam entirely while teenagers were jousting on the battle beam. Dangerous. My 13 year olds were making more of an effort to run dodgeball and get children out of the battle beam foam pit than the people they have on the payroll there. SAD. read more

My daughter went to a birthday party here March 12. Her phone was either stolen or lost in the ball pit. The manager said we had to wait until mid April because they only clean the ball pit once a month (ew). So we waited, which is crazy because who has to wait a month to get a phone back... and we went April 15th and it's not there... but also the employee at lost and found said they haven't cleaned the ball pit in quite a while. Zipline, different wall climbs and jumps, ninja Warrior type course over a huge ball pit that many kids use as a ball pit, laser tag, etc. Refommend getting the yearly pass if you visit often. 5 Star part...now to the 2 star drop... Almost everytime we come here, there is this kid who is here as well that seems to know someone who works here, around 11 or 12 years old, at times he has even worn a staff shirt. The problem is he, for lack of a better term, bullies some other kids. He has been seen targeting kids in dodgeball who are much younger than him and made them cry, thrown kids into the ball pit who he doesn't even know or have any reason to put his hands on, thrown balls from the ball pit at other kids and doesn't stop when they ask him to. Took our son and friends here for his birthday. We watched a child pee all over the floor and then staff allowed people to walk through it in socks. My son ran out of a play area and right through the urine. The manager in charge "Rebecca" refused to provide anyone who got urine on their socks a new pair. Telling us we had to buy them. When they finally got around to cleaning the Irvine they did a sloppy job of it basically just spreading the urine around with a mop and calling it good. We had a great time! Spent 4.5 hours there on a practically empty Christmas Eve. Most of the employees were pretty attentive but were a little chatty with each other (which I get since it was so slow). Not used to going into a "kid park" and all the attractions actually work! Really great for my 7 yr old. Side note, almost went to subway to get lunch but looked at the cafe's menu and was very reasonable. Grilled chicken sandwich was really above par especially for the price, definitely a pleasant surprise. If we lived a bit closer would definitely buy the membership. This is such a fun place to be! There is a lot to do here for all ages. I've gone with my my husbands siblings that range from young to teen to young adult and they all found activities to do, and I've also been (here and another UA location) with co-workers and had a blast as just a group of totally unathletic adults lol. They also have play areas for little kids like 2 year olds and such, and good discounts for parents/spectators if your just here for your kids. This location has some cool features like the bumper cars that spin you upside down 360°. They got individual activities like the trampolines, but this place is SO MUCH MORE than just trampolines, got plenty of fun competitive stuff too like battle beams and laser tag. There is a zip line too that's awesome. Prices at the cafe are very reasonable considering the vendor type/location. I had the lemon pepper wings and they are very very flavorful and big! I love that they even have a cauliflower crust pizza that is gluten free and good for healthy low carb, plus veggie snacks. There are free storage cubbies in the front, or for extra security you have the option of renting a locker. They will have you buy socks, but you can keep them for future visits, I recommend going a size up if you got larger ankles, I'm a women's size 9 and the adult large was a tad tight. The staff has gone through a ton of training on saftey and cleaning (lots of cleaning!) and takes the public's COVID concerns very seriously. I can confirm this as my husband actually works here lol from project manager when building to a facility manager now, so I've heard all about the extensive interviews, training, precautions, and systems they put in place and continue to expand on, they are striving to be the best Urban Air out there and have a lot of pride in this location.
