Terrible service. Walked in, sat at a very un-busy bar with 2 bartenders and waited literally 10 minutes until I was even asked what I wanted to drink. Asked them to change one, just one of their 48 tv's they so vigorously advertise to the Predators game, and I'm told it's not on yet so they won't change it.... as I'm watching time tick off the game from my NHL app! I went to the Tilted Kilt to see what it was about as a friend of mine swears by them. The first thing that hit me were the ladies at the front counter. The outfits that they wear definitely accent their breasts with plenty of cleavage. Being a guy, that is fine with me and I was promptly seated. The waitresses were attentive, and when I ordered the Bar-B-Que Bacon Cheeseburger I knew I had found a great place to grab a beer, enjoy a burger, and appreciate some eye candy. Hooters has some serious competition in Clarksville now, and I for one will probably not be back at Hooters in the foreseeable future as their quality has IMHO gone downhill. My second time here and things haven't changed a bit. The poor service is only surpassed by the poor food quality. I get it...you want to get locals to come in on a regular basis. However, if locals dominate at the expense of the rest of your guests than you've lost you're understanding of why you opened to begin with! I sat at the bar and was initialed greeted promptly. Was given my drink but waited 15 minutes to order food and that was by another waitress. Another server brought my food after another 15+ Minutes but no silverware was provided. The food was very marginal, at best, couldn't get anyone attention for salt/pepper which I finally retrieved from a near-by table. When I figured I'd had enough, I couldn't get anyone to get me my bill. After I tracked down my second waitress I verified thru her who would get the tip I left (as I did not want it to go the waitress on my ticket). Bottom line...the TiltedKilt is something like an Applebee's had an illegitimate child with Hooters.,.only the food would be better and you'd get service. I like the Tilted Kilt. It is a large well staffed, clean establishment. The scenery better than you would expect for this area. The service is what you would expect when you hire your service staff based on their aesthetic value. That being said, there is good and bad service.. as you would expect. The food is at the upper end of bar food. Decent selection, good wing sauces, vegetarian options if you know one of those. Most importantly, the beer selection is bountiful and they are served ice cold. All consumables are slightly overpriced, but that is to be expected in this type of establishment. Came here for lunch with a friend since we had a half-day at work. As is typical of all TK's, cleavage, shorts skirts, and hip tattoos abound. Girls were friendly as usual. We both partook of the $10 burger special: any burger, side of fries, and a soda or 14oz domestic beer. Good deal in my book, especially since the food was actually tasty. Today was St. Practice Day. On the 17th of every month, they feature Irish dishes. We didn't try anything from that menu but I've had the stew before at another TK and it was good. I had the inferno burger which had a nice kick. Buddy had the burger with a fried egg. He was very happy with it. He'd never been to a TK and was expecting low-quality Hooter's food. He might be a fan now, haha. There is a huge sign next to the road for it but be sure to pull into the correct parking lot. We pulled into the one next door and there's no cut-through. Had to go back to the light and get back onto the main road. Restaurant is towards the back behind the other restaurants there. I used to like going here but the atmosphere; meaning the stools were all torn, there was wires hanging out of the wall in the restroom (hopefully not live). I hate to see only negative reviews of this place! The bar is always full and most bartenders busting their butt to attend to every guest! So many beers on tap and a good time to be had. This place is generic like what you would expect but a bit gloomy. Easy to find just follow the big sign from the main road it's a bit behind longhorn steakhouse and easy parking. The restaurant is really dark. You can't tell what your food look like nor the color. Waitress are friendly as expected, bit she really is new or doesn't know what she's doing. Fellow coworkers and I decided to have dinner here. I ordered a non-alcoholic beverage, and she asked for my ID smh. Then I ordered fish taco, she asked if fries okay with that. I'm confused. I know the menu doesn't say it comes with fries. My coworker ordered single whiskey neat. She had to comeback three times to confirm and the fourth times she said oh we are out of that brand so he changed the brand. The next thing he got was a single shot whiskey in a shot glass and its overflowing. It was kind of upsetting to come to TN but the waitress doesn't even know how to serve a neat single bourbon. So my friend went to a bar and get a whiskey glass. We ordered some food. The Mac and cheese was good but the rest was not as good. The fish tacos were salty, the supposedly comes with fries but of course it wasn't. It came with coleslaw which is withered sliced cabbage and not so fresh pico de gallo. The burger is really dry and the chicken salad was ok. In the middle of our food she was cleaning up our table from glass to include the half finished whiskey glass. I am currently vacationing in Clarksville Tennessee from Wisconsin. I dropped my husband off earlier today while I took the kids to see the Easter Bunny at the mall across the street. He wanted to watch the Marquette game that was on as part of March Madness. We agreed that I would come back after the game with the kids to eat dinner. We had heard the food was good but that service could be better. We still decided to check the place out despite the mixed reviews. Well needless to say we will NEVER return to any location! While I was gone my husband was called a pervert by the manager in front of patrons because he thought my husband was trying to take a picture of one of the girls. When my husband explained to the manager my husband was offered no apology for calling him a name in front of other patrons for no reason! My husband did not take a picture of one of the girls but lets just say that he did, does this give the manager the right to call my husband a pervert in front of other patrons? I THINK NOT! Totally and utterly RUDE! Then to not offer an apology was just like a slap in the face! Next I arrived just after the Marquette game ended. I sat down at an empty table in the bar area. The waitress handling the area walked passed me several times with no greeting and continued serving the table next to me without any recognition that I and my children were sitting there. After about 20 minutes she finally came to the table and asked, "Did you need something or are you just hanging out?" I asked her for menus and ordered drinks. She then went to the next table and asked them if they needed refills. A couple of minutes later the table next to us got their refills and we were still sitting with no drinks! We ordered before the people sitting next to us!!! After about another 5 minutes we still did not have drinks so we decided to get up and leave. We had been sitting there for roughly 30 minutes with no service! On the way out I made sure to let the hostesses know that we had every intention of eating there and that we gave the place overall several chances to redeem/impress us and all had failed miserably! The hostesses apologized but it seriously did no good. They didnt even offer to get a manager, not that I would have wanted to talk to the manager that called my husband a pervert anyways but it would have been a good gesture. I think these "girls" all need some seriously retraining and so does management! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! NEVER AGAIN! Put in a to go order...spoke to 4 people on the phone, was interrupted twice trying to make my order. No phone skills at all. No customer service skills whatsoever!! Manager had to get on the line to get my order, then I waited 5 or more minutes to get a total. No one got my name or a call back number. I was not offered a discount for the to go order taking 12 minutes to complete or the fact that I had to repeat myself 3x before someone finally got my order. I had to call back to find out how long it would be to get my order. I was told 15-20min. I went in after 25min and was told it'd be another 15-20 min. So I asked the hostess, you mean to tell me that it's going to take almost 45 min to an hour to get my order. She said no 15-20min...I had to remind her that it's already been 25 min and she said that she can't do anything about that!! So I went out to my car to wait another 15-20min!! Total bullshit!! Called 2 hours in advance to ask whether I would be able to watch a certain college football game on ESPN Plus. I asked for it my name. Was told "We get all the games and all the channels - just ask your server or bartender to turn it on, when you get here". Showed up only to find out that they don't get that particular channel. So... where do I begin? First time entering into this restaurant. Only because it was the only place on Wilma that didn't have a wait time. We were delivered with shots of Bailey's.... Explaining to her what the shot was and we asked for Guinness . She came back with about 3 ounces. Again explaining an Irish Car Bomb. We finally got it. We went to the Kilt tonight to watch the football game. I'm from Hendersonville but was checking on my dad that was in the hospital. I was there for a nice time with my buddies and was enjoying my night when the manager came over and was extremely aggressive about me taking pictures of the waitresses. There was no notices about photos at the restaurant so I saw no problems. The manager came over and confronted us and promptly asked us to leave. I understand that he was offended as it was his girlfriend that was I'm the picture. I wasn't actuality aware that this was not the norm since the waitress's would be offended since that's how they get their tips.
