The coffee, which has similarities to a Turkish coffee, is a medium roast with Cardamon and cream. Definately a unique flavor profile from what I am used to where it is a flavorful robust coffee that is well balanced with no harsh notes and oh so tasty. What I didn't know before coming here is that coffee originated out of Yemen some 500 years ago where they clearly have perfected the drink where this is a HUGE step up from the week diluted drink we call coffee here in the states. The coffee shop itself is bright, clean, very modern and very inviting with a casual vibe and nice Yemeni accents throughout to add to drinking experience. Staff is very friendly in explaining the drinks and how they are made and help guide you to the right drink choice as the names of drinks are very unique and a tad confusing as evidenced by my Mufawaar (: Overall an excellent unique coffee shop that is a must visit if you are a fan of good full bodied coffee. It was so nice that they were able to switch my large chai from a stay in the cage version (aka a large coffee cup) to a to-go one when I had to leave. That made it even more special. Every aspect was amazing. The ambiance and decor immersed you into the Yemeni culture as soon as you walk through the door. I politely stopped him and explained that I wanted the personal-sized Berries Delight on the left. He responded by saying, "Those are called slices," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. I then asked if I could have a fresh one from the refrigerator because the one in the display case looked like it had been sitting there for a while. He insisted the display one was fine, but I repeated that I would prefer one from the refrigerator. He reluctantly got one and handed it to me, saying, "There's your fresh Berries Delight," in a sarcastic tone. I visit Sweet Dreams regularly--between this location and the previous one, I stop in about four times a month. I've always enjoyed your desserts, which is why this experience was so surprising. I've never been treated this way before. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the quality of customer service should match the quality of your products.

Due to a food allergy I didn't want to style the tart myself. I contacted a number of local bakeries as well as Plum Market, Whole Foods, Zingermans and more. None could accommodate my specific request. Finally, I came across sweet dreams and they were able to make me a beautiful raspberry tart to use for my images, based on the appearance, I wanted and in a timely manner. Multiple times I have dealt with attitude at the drive-thru speaker where if I was not speed ordering there was a snappy attitude. Once there was an order that the cook messed up on and I called the manager about it. The manager did a great job handling the situation in getting me a replacement written in the books.when it came time for me to pick up the replacement I couldn't remember the manager's name. When asked about the manager's name I let them know I spoke with the manager that worked on Sunday. The response was "there are a lot of managers that work here all week long so that's not helping me"...in a snappy tone. Another time I go to the drive-thru and I get to the window and remember that I didn't order a shake. I had already given her my card so I honk the horn and asked if she swiped yet. She said yes she just did.I said while I was wondering if it was too late for me to order a shake. she handed me my card in my receipt and look me in my face and said a stale flat "sorry". When it was time for me to get my food she stuck it out of the window with a stale "here you go" and closed the window. I will be contacting the manager of this location to let them know about my experience because if I have another one I may have to curb my visit here. When I tried to order, the girl on the speaker immediately had a rude, impatient attitude. I asked if they had the Berry Refresher, they didn't. So I asked if there was anything similar she would recommend. Instead of offering any kind of suggestion, I just got another quick, dismissive "no." They were out of several other items as well, and not once did anyone try to offer an alternative or actually help us decide what was available. When we got to the window, we sat there for about five minutes while the employee stood there without acknowledging us at all (not on the computer not taking an order, just literally standing there). When she finally opened the window, there was no hi or sorry for the wait, it was only to state the total and hand us our food, with the same attitude. I'm not expecting someone to roll out a red carpet for me, but basic customer service and common courtesy should not be too much to ask. This location has seriously gone downhill, and it doesn't take a lot to see that. But If a business is struggling, treating the people who actually come through the door like an inconvenience certainly isn't going to help.
