Our bartender apologized for not letting us know it was a salad so he ordered us the "crispy doughnuts" on the house! OMG, served w ricotta dip-well let's just say we will order them EVERY visit from now on! My wife and I then split the crispy pork ribs. They were amazing and melted in our mouths. It was Thursday, so 1/2 price bottle of wines. We're wine drinkers but I decided to let our bartender choose a bottle on his recommendation! He nailed it. Perfect bottle choice for what we ate. As full as we were, I talked my wife into dessert. We split the dark chocolate pear. Wow. So unique as well. This is a great coffee shop in the village. The staff and…read morebaristas are so friendly and willing to work with me and my little kids. I order a small hot chocolate and they will split it between two cups and they will make it "not that hot" so my little kids don't have to wait to drink it. I ordered a Mike's sandwich with bacon on and everything bagel and it was delicious! I was there today, a Wednesday morning, and this place was to the brim with community but also not over crowded. There were kids being homeschooled, men at a business meeting, a group of women getting together, others working alone on a computer, it felt really nice just to be there. There are different games and books, then other little decorations and things for sale. I just wish they were open later into the evening... I tried to go here on a Saturday in the early evening and it was already shut down.

Headed to the counter and showed the app, they said have a seat we'll get your bag ready. The place is cute inside kinda homey with little kiosk with stuff for sale. She brought my bag over and had a cup for coffee. She let me to the coffee station & I had the coffee of the day. I normally don't drink flavored coffee but it was real good, a nutty and creamy flavor combined. My bag had a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup and slice of blueberry crumble pie. The table by me had sandwiches that looked good, will definitely be back.

For those who have never been, there's two entry points; the front (from the street), is wheelchair friendly, while the back (from the parking lot) has some stairs. There are two single bathrooms available in this place. If you're dining in, you can order at the counter and they'll bring the food to your table. Regardless you need to order at the counter anyway. They always have a great selection of baked goods and coffee, plus specialty drinks on rotation. They offer light breakfast and lunch if you don't want just a coffee and pastry. They sell gifts and ground/bean coffee along with flavored syrups. For this particular trip, I ventured in to get lavender syrup (Torani). I treated myself to a specialty rotating drink (Hansel and Gretel frozen coffee - frozen coffee with gingerbread and white chocolate). I also purchased a blueberry muffin and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin (also a rotation dessert specialty). All were excellent, as par for course here. I don't hear at all but speak well, so the kind lady at the front grabbed a pad and writing utensil to communicate with me, which was very helpful and so we both were on the same page. But most importantly, they unsuspectingly have THE best custard you will ever have in your life. I'm not kidding or exaggerating in the least. This stuff is so creamy it almost tastes and sits in your ice cream cone like a reaaaally thick whipped cream! GET THE CUSTARD!!!! I will be coming here all summer for this vanilla custard!
