Love Tim hortons but unfortunately this location seems to not be up to the level as others locally. Very slow and not friendly staff.

They always say the chef if not here yet and the bakery is closed every morning. But my friend used to manage Tim hortons and work the night shift. He prepared for the morning rush. The workers there wobble around like they don't wanna work . I can see why there all over weight. read more

What a way to start your day!!! There are plenty of coffee shops in the area and I don't expect everyone to be chipper in the morning but this place just keeps getting worse!! When I order the guy says pull around for total then I gather money and pay when I get there no problem. How dare I ask for ketchup when the girl at the window tells me I should ask for that before hand so she could move the line faster. I called to talk to a manager and she answered and told me she was the manager and then contradicted herself later to say that her manager is the one who told her to tell me this. I strongly advice a different location there are two others within 2 miles either way Hall rd east of Van Dyke or 23 and Van Dyke West side of the road. Walked in and plenty of staff.....all whom were not willing to help a paying customer. Those that did acknowledge had a bad attitude. Ordered a #2 lunch meal (grilled cheese panini) and soup. Paid for a drink and had to ask twice for it, soup was decent but received a egg and bacon sandwich. I sucked it up and ate it but wouldn't recommend this location to anyone in a rush or that wants pleasant service. read more

I walked in and then 120 seconds later I walked back out. The place smelled like sewage. I thought it was my imagination, but the longer I stood there the more I could smell it. With the sewage smell filling up my nostrils I then noticed how filthy the floors were. The combination completely killed my coffee craving. The way I see it... if the front of house (the public area) is filthy then the back of house is probably even dirtier. I love Ice Capps but too many times I've been here and they don't have it. This Tim Horton's is by far the slowest at making anyone's drinks. This is right down the street from where I live. However, I've been going a couple of miles extra to go to a better and quicker customer service Tim Horton's. The workers seem lackadaisical when it comes to any sort of work ethic. Stopped for the first time yesterday because I wanted to try one of their new hoagies. I've noticed there isn't any consistency in Tim Horton's stores. In Rochester the one west of town is an abomination of rude servers put out you interrupt them chatting with each-other, and quick to tell you they can't give you what you want. The one south of town is friendly and fast. Well this one on Van Dyke set a new standard for poor service. They didn't even talk to me to be able to be rude. I went in and there was one young woman doing everything. I can't put any blame on her. She had an active drive-through trade so I figured she had three or four orders ahead of me. I was the only customer inside. She never looked at me. However a man in a black golf shirt came out of the back and did something at one of the cash registers. He was not friendly and held up a single finger to indicate I should wait a minute, frowning at me like I was an unwelcome problem. Do these people have no idea how to deal with the public at all? If your store is unhappy people won't go there. I waited, and waited. He never came back. So I left. I strongly suspect he was what passes for management there, thus far too important to actually help out at the counter. Don't worry - I won't ever disrupt your day again. This is a fairly new store - having bought a franchise in a great company is not guarantee of success. It's just a first step and you can kill the opportunity to build it into something dead as can be. This place is like a case study in how to do that. read more

I give this one star because the coffee was decent. However, the behavior of the staff, it seemed one was even a manager, arguing, loud, and cussing about everything. I needed to buy 2 dozen bagels at 5 am, I had stopped into a different Tim's the night before to ask if they needed to be pre-ordered and they told me no. When I got there they didn't have any so I went to this store instead, when I ordered them they preceded to yell at me because I hadn't preordered them and they would have had their baker make more. First of all, how would I ever know that they needed to be preordered since this info isn't on their website and 2 dozen really isn't that many, second I'm not sure what they are teaching their employees, but yelling at customers isn't very good customer service. They then said they would go ahead and sell them to me after I said I would just go somewhere else instead if I couldn't buy them there. Then I ordered 4 donuts and they didn't have ANY donuts! Needless to say I'll be going else where for bagels from now on. Not to mention, 2 dozen bagels and cream cheese cost me $35! read more

When will somebody finally call the corporate office and get this place handled already? The most rude women ever work here, you're there to take my order and get me what I want, not roll your eyes and act like YOUR JOB is an inconvenience. This is why fast food works will NEVER deserve 15 dollars an hour. I wish the Dunkin Donuts across the street was still open, at least the Indian people were beyond friendly. I wish I could give them no stars. This place is absolutely the worst Tim hortons I have Been to. Multiple times I have been there only for them to make sure I never go back. I'm always here because it is less than a quarter mile to my house but now I have told everyone I know to discontinue going there. They have 0 customer service, in fact they are super rude. Last time I was there I placed an order for a dozen bagels and a bucket of cream cheese. Charged me for 2 dozen and when I asked for a receipt and tried to tell the lady at the window that it was incorrect, she looked back at her coworker in annoyance to my comment and the order taker comes to the window and tells me that's what I asked for. After sitting there for 15 minutes going back and forth about how her attitude is a serious issue and that no matter what you should always treat the customer as they're right, she just continued to tell me I was incorrect and they kept talking about me as I was at the window. Called later to speak to a manager and they said there wasn't one available. I asked when there will be and they said I don't know. Seriously unbelievable service here it's terrible. read more

If a zero star rating was possible I would've gave this Tim Hortons it. To start off the customer service was beyond horrific, the woman working there gave my associate and I sass while we waited to get our drinks. Then to make it worse as we were driving away she had the nerve to patronise us with idiotic questions. Finally, as we drank our supposedly "frozen" hot chocolates they ended up being completely thawed and melted. i gave one star only because the only thing they got right was 1 drink order out of 4. the food was absolutely disgusting and tasted like plastic. it also flopped. they gave us attitude because we asked for cream cheese on the bagel and on the side too. they charged us for the hash brown sticks that they didn't even have in stock. they gave us a bagel with nothing on it when we asked for it to be toasted and cream cheese on it. also asked for it to have bacon egg and cheese on the bagel and once again, had nothing on it. read more

Absolutely the rudest staff!! Sierra is one of the girls that works there and is extremely terrible with customers. Another one is Pam. In the 3 times I have been there nobody has yet to get my order correct (a mocha and honey krueler). Not that difficult of an order. I will NEVER go back to this location. read more
