Good customer service, friendly people. First item I tried Grilled chicken sandwich, fresh and delicious love the spicy kick on it. My son had the chicken tenders , definitely his favorite. We went to this place after people raving about it . we got the rib eye steak sandwich the cheese burgers the steaks tacos and a side of chili . it was insanely good. i loved the rib eye sandwich and even though i brought this home the bread or the sandwich wasn't stale ( this was a 40 min drive) . i would highly recommend this place and will go there again read more

I don't know what happened. This is not the same quality we are familiar with. Tonight their hotdogs were extremely small and the buns were stale. Everything else was ehh, not the standard that we were used to. We have been here since covid started and in the last 2 months it's just not been the same. read more

I've been here a few times and would say it's a notch below average for north side hot dog/gyro places. Which is disappointing since I was a fan of Beef and Burger, it's longtime predecessor. The hotdogs: longer hotdog is good. Dry and cold bun is not good. Every time. Do they not know that in this town, buns are steamed? A teaspoon of mustard. A dripping pickle wedge that soaked the bun with pickle juice. Blech. Fries: not included with any sandwich (beef and burger included them, and would deduct a dollar from price if you declined them). Nothing special about the fries, usual frozen thin spears deep fried. Hamburgers: once I was there and the owner made a big deal about how his stand in LA had huge lines for his hamburgers, and he couldn't understand why Chicago folks weren't more enthusiastic. Well buddy maybe if you didn't regale customers about how LA was better then you'd start to develop some loyal Chicago customers! And don't you know how much fun we make of LA? So I got a hamburger to go. 5 minutes later I got home and the burger bun was sodden from the water in the lettuce and tomato and fell apart as I tried to pull it off it of it's half-wrap. You know, if you cared so much about the quality of your burgers, you'd put the lettuce/tomato/pickle on the side, and use a cornered plastic or styrofoam or cardboard container for it. I did like the people working the counter during my visits. Fast, smiling, helpful. One final complaint: the flashing lights on your sign is obnoxious. I'm glad I'm not your neighbor. read more

So happy that there's an awesome fast food joint that opened nearby. Yes, there may be a place located just next to Tim Tim's, but we all know the food is trash. My husband had the burger and it was delicious! I had the hot dog and that was pretty good. Star of the show was absolutely the onion rings. They're not cute, but they're delicious. Tried out Tim Tim's based on reviews here... not sure what the heaping praise is about. It's no better (nor worse) than any other random burger-and-gyro joint around here. Burger was decent but not spectacular, Italian beef was bland and boring. Fries were the bright spot here by far. They've got balls to operate right next to the legendary Susie's, which IMO has better food but lousy service. Given the choice between the two I'd still rather go to Tim Tim's. Unfortunately for Tim Tim's there are far more than just those two options around here. read more
