Cute neighborhood American food thats halal. Wide selection of options to choose from. All the food I tried so far has been very good and makes me want to come back and try more and more of their menu. Also helps that the staff is very friendly and hard working. Definitely a go to spot for a lunch break or for after work knowing that the food will be good and prices are reasonable for portion size.

This very small place packs a punch. The staff is friendly and they also have a drive thru. I ordered the grilled chicken tacos. They came loaded with perfectly cooked chicken pieces and tons of lime and cilantro. The meat was juicy yet a bit dry for my liking. The rice was good, nothing spectacular and same for the beans. There are a lot of things in the menu that remind you of a casual diner and burger vibes. The quality of the meat is good and overall you will leave satisfied.

My Wife and I were blown away at how tasty the food was. Everything was very flavorful and well seasoned. And the prices were great for the portion sizes which were generous. My Fire Burger especially was a good full sized burger. And best of all everything was halal. Everyone working here was very polite and accommodating. They let us go into the back to wash our hands before we ate. The inside seating is very limited since this is a very small place. They did have an outside seating area so in the summer time there is more seating. They had an extensive menu including delicious Mexican food.

Amazing food with amazing service. It's a small hole in the hole Mexican joint with limited seating that lends it its credence of being an authentic foodie joint. We have tried the Philly cheesesteak, fire burger, gyro burger, gyro cheese fries, and tacos in our various rendezvous and never been disappointed. Highly recommend it.

Today, we ordered the Gyro Cheese Fries and let me tell you, they are delicious!! The fresh cut fries are topped with a generous amount of flavorful gyro meat, green peppers, onions, and nacho cheese. One order is large enough to share with at least 3-4 people. They are reasonably priced and a great option to consider when you're not in the mood for a hamburger or hotdogs (which are delicious, as well). I highly recommend them!

This was an amazing burger! I ordered the Tim Tim special burger, and I was utterly shocked and all my burger cravings were satisfied with one bite! It was big juicy cheesy with a spicy component and the fries were a perfect accompaniment When you see this place on the outside it doesn't look as if it's nothing special to write home about. It's quant with limiting seating. But the foods flavors were on point. The steak tacos were fire!!! Please show Tim Tim's some love! ok !

I ordered the 3 steak tacos with fries and pop. The food was on point, halal! The fries were great as well. I also orders a strawberry shake and it was tasty. I recommend this place and I'm definitely coming back! The place was clean and organised. Great customer service!

Yikes awful old overcooked and greasy.

Super friendly lady at the cashier (all smiles, patient, and offered menu help)! Also fast service (got my order within a few minutes). I visited on a Saturday late afternoon and it was very chill here (also shoutout to the early 2000's era music playing :p it was a vibe). A LOCAL CLASSIC! I…read moreloved this spot so much I ended up coming back twice. It has that classic late night comfort food vibe and feels like one of those staple spots you have to try at least once. First night I ordered a polish hot dog with everything on it and a fish sandwich w/ extra grilled onions. Super cool that your order comes with fries and I added a cheese cup both times. In my opinion the fries were mid the first go around, but second time they were better. Definitely tasted better dipped in cheese. They were kinda airy in texture, if that makes sense. Polish hot dog was around a 6.5-7/10 for me. It did taste better warmed up the next day. What I was most obsessed with was the double cheeseburger and fish sandwich! both were easily a 10/10. Super good prices and worth the money. Also, the chile peppers were sooo bomb and hotter than I expected ! I wanted to eat them all, but they were packing some serious heat! The lemon Italian ice is where it's at, make sure to order one! You can also mix it with strawberry, but both times people recommended the lemon and now I see why. The line gets super active and busy past 10-11pm, but during the daytime it's way less crowded. Even when it gets packed the line moves pretty quick. They stay open late and close at 1am which is nice.

Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. We tried the hot dog, sausage, and hamburger, and all of them lacked flavor. Nothing really stood out, and the food was pretty underwhelming overall. The quality just wasn't there yet, especially considering the expectations. I genuinely hope they continue refining their recipes and seasoning because the concept has potential. For now, though. I'ld give them some time to find their footing and hope for a much better experience in the future.

I will always have fond memories of eating a ton of hot dog lunches here. It occurred during my 'serious' working life at Jensen Sound Labs in nearby Schiller Park. Back in the day, Gene & Jude's was a teensey tiny, stand-and-eat-over-a-counter-french-fries-stuffed-into-your-snappy-Vienna-Beef-dog kinda place. It still has a devoted cult following. As it is with all good things, the restaurant has only become bigger and better! Gene & Jude's has such a wonderful location near and around many office buildings that house large companies. And a forest preserve nearby. Today, the same hot dog and fries combo I ate back in the day is still a great value for struggling sound mixers and speaker-based Motorola employees and of course, all the other working class. The snappy Vienna Beef Dog with the only condiments, consisting of yellow mustard, green relish, onions, and sport peppers, then smothered and covered in fries, "Depression style", is currently priced at $4.69! You need to visit this icon if you're ever in the Northwest Chicago area suburbs. You won't regret it.

They had some options on the menu but we both opted for the Vienna Red Hot ("char"). It's a solid dog. The wiener is, perhaps unsurprisingly, the star of the show. It's got a terrific char and an irresistible snap. The flavor is better-than-average, too. The condiments didn't really do much for me, and I found something on there just way, way too salty. (The pickle, maybe?) Anyway, it's a quick, cheap, easy meal. I'd certainly eat it again.

After seeing their vegan options, I was happy to see that they offer vegan hot dogs made two ways but sad that their fries and tater tots are cooked in beef tallow, and surprised that the hot dogs were $7.00 which might be too expensive for some people. After we ordered a vegan Chicago dog with a soda for me and a vegan Chicago dog with a bucket of fries for hubby, our food was quickly prepared and delivered. Although my vegan hot dog was cooked well, I was slightly annoyed at how quickly the dog fell out of the bun and the large amount of neon green relish which minimize the other flavors of the hot dog. Likewise, I was saddened and surprised and that none of their sides (fries and tater tots) are vegan friendly since they cook these items in beef tallow. Overall, while the vegan hot dog was delicious, I feel that $7 is a bit pricey for a vegan hotdog especially when there aren't any vegan sides available.
