Went here with my coworkers for a team lunch. Although it was quite packed, my server was able to seat me pretty quickly. I ordered the crab slider with truffle fries. The crab cake was well seasoned and the truffle fries were crispy. The buns were a bit dry however, maybe it wasn't toasted prior or possibly just left out a little too long. Brunch at Pitch looks amazing! Despite the awesome breakfast items, the only thing breakfasty I can get at Pitch is the bloody mary. It was very bold, and very strong, I loved it! I couldn't help but get the 2 for$15 deal with the thai pie pizza and brussels and my friends got the pizza and truffle fries. You can never go wrong with the fries and pizza. Boyfriend and I both got the steak and fritas and we couldn't even cut into it, completely fat no meat. Waiter was asking us questions about if we wanted things that costed EXTRA money like they were options but was just trying to take our money. Went to Pitch yesterday for my first time with my boyfriend as a hangover meal and it hit the spot. We ordered the pistachio Brussels, Caesar salad and truffle fries. I really enjoyed them, the caesar could have had more dressing in my opinion but it was still tasty. We each got a slice of pizza, mine was pepperoni, bacon and jalapeños and it was sooooo good. My boyfriend got the basil chicken pesto and he enjoyed it as well. The server was so friendly and knew the menu really well. FOOD : I got the brunch veggie omelette and still can't get over the fact i paid $20 for an omelette... heavens. As far as this gourmet omelette went, it wasn't anything that blew my mind or made me feel $20 spent was 'worth it.' It tasted good, i liked the veggie selection they had in it, it didn't taste undercooked or off in any way -- it was unspectacular but I do think it should've came with a side of it was going to be that price point. Would order again if I go back with someone who is paying for my meal My friends got the best salad and said it was delicious, and it definitely looked great! Easy to split the salad with someone else at the table as the portion size is really large. They also got meatballs and pizza and said "it hit the spot!" I also sampled the creamy broccoli soup -- veryyyyy rich and nostalgic and if I were a dairy person I probably would've gotten it. The flavor was on point and really rich, i don't think I could've eaten a lot of it without feeling yucky after but it did taste good going down! Food is very overpriced for being lackluster. Very bland pizza, soupy mac n cheese and bland meatballs etc. pasta sauce tastes jarred. GM Is very grumpy and not accommodating to bigger groups, and the "event planner" Ashley Smith is not the most warm when it comes to kids.... Definitely don't have your wedding or bridal showers here! They always rush you out and hem and haw when you place an order for a refill of a soda... even when you spend over $400 on a dinner. Definitely does not have the Nebraska Nice feel of practically every other restaurant in town! I would definitely recommend some of the smaller and quainter Italian restaurants in town like Via Farina, Mangia, Spezia etc for their ambience and prices! 402 is also way fresher with their produce and sandwiches. We had a bit of a rough start before arriving due to some conflicting information from a reservation system error. I reached out ahead of time to share my frustration, and I really appreciate how quickly and professionally the team responded to make things right. Once we got there, everything was great--as expected. The brunch was delicious, and the service was spot on. To top it off, the manager even stopped by our table to personally apologize again for the earlier communication issue. Situations outside of everyone's control can happen, but what really matters is how they're handled. Arrived hungry after a soccer match, seated quickly but a friendly face. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful, though a little forgetful as we had to ask for refills and ranch sauce multiple times. We ordered our pies and the Marsala came out almost immediately, it seemed as if it was actually someone else's order. My one regret with the Marsala was that I didn't ask to add a protein, pancetta would have really complicated the flavors. The Thai Pie had fantastic flavors with a nice little kick that made my lips burn nicely. The Pitch Your Own was soggy, but the flavor was spot on. We absolutely loved the truffle fries, the sauces were a great addition, the favorite was the garlic aioli, coming in a close second was the pesto aioli. We sat inside, but they had multiple seating options available and I can really see spending an evening drinking my way through the margarita menu while enjoying their patio and pizza pies in my future. If you want okay food for an upscale restaurant price, this is your place. I've been to Pitch many times, and I always leave thinking the same thing: that was ridiculously expensive for the value. We had two friends request we meet them for dinner at Pitch last night. We started with the onion rings and mac and cheese balls special as appetizers. The cut on the onion rings was annoyingly thick, and the coating fell off as soon as you bit into it, giving you straight onion. But the real downfall was the mac and cheese balls. I want you to picture in your mind what $20 of mac and cheese balls looks like. Are you picturing TWO mac and cheese balls? Because that's what you get here. On top of the small portion, the mac and cheese inside was largely flavorless and could have used a good dose of salt. I ordered two slices of pizza, both were pretty good and had decent toppings, but they are definitely on the small side. One member of our party didn't get her meal until 15 minutes after everyone else did, which was frustrating. In addition, there was a point in our meal when three employees were surrounding our table and having a lengthy conversation about who was going to take which tables. It was actually laughably odd. We have been consistent regulars coming about twice a month for our family dinners. We have a large extended family with two toddlers. They like to move around and will sometimes want to do a "lap" around the restaurant to get their wiggles out before dinner. We were treated so poorly by the event staff (Ashley Smith) and the general manager the latest time we were there and felt so unwelcome. As a parent, you are so proud of your kids if they are good in public and to have someone treat you poorly when your kids are being good (and on one of very few occasions you can get out of the house) is devastating as a new parent. We will never come back and have decided to move our dinners to Legacy Chophouse in the same area of town. If you need a restaurant for a family or large party, do NOT go here and go to Legacy Chophouse instead! read more

It was crying out for some salt and pepper. It wasn't bad by any means but just left me wanting a little more flavor to it to really wow me. We usually love it here but tonight we had soggy pizza in fairness we did not send it back as we were with our grandchildren and kind of in a hurry as we wanted to avoid any melt down situations. The pizza just did not sit right with any of us and when we got home we actually just chucked the pizza. We had the bruschetta too which was HUGE and so tasty. I had the roasted beet salad with the artichokes and omg. The servings are HUGE. The artichokes were prepared so well with tons of flavor. Had to make a run West across the bordering state of 84th St today, so we grabbed an early dinner. I *thought* we felt boujie, but nope... I should've known that when the guy behind the desks asks if we have a reservation, that we just don't... belong...... there.. HOWEVER... we did stay, and took advantage of their happy hour menu! Ordered the Bianco Verde pizza (just one size it looks like), and then I asked our waiter what drink he liked and why... and I ordered his recommended Tiger Blood Mule-Up. Thankfully it wasn't burned and it was throughly enjoyed as the heat wound down. The PIZZA was an olive oil base, with a shit ton of arugula (peppery taste if you aren't familiar). Four cheeses, a beautiful thyme flavored cream and even better prosciutto. The cheese pull was superb, but the bottom of the pizza was so soggy, you were forced to use a fork (sad day!). The balance between the salty, peppery, textured choice was *ok*. Not terribly sure I'd even write home about it. The DRINK, was the perfect blend of mixed fruit, a tangy ginger, a bit of strawberry on the back end and a cool, refreshing amount of sweetness to balance the bitter. Anyone else love how the copper cups freeze over at the bottom? I do! Now had they had a spicy mule, I'd be ALL over that. But if you decide to go during happy hour, I don't think you'd be disappointed with choosing it. Or maybe just ask your waiter/waitress what their favorite drink is and order that! Our most recent visit we got the meatballs - a favorite - and the bread was inedible, it was clearly day old and hard as a rock. I've been craving a pizza for a really long time and after hearing about the reviews of this place for my fiance, we had to try it out. Food was good, but the service was not the best. My fiance first asked for the classic mimosa which was all good. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts appetizer, salads each and a pizza to share. The Brussels sprouts never came to the table. We got both the salads and they were both good, but they added something extra to my salad and I have no idea what that was. I asked for the Chop Salad with chicken, no tomatoes (extra mixed greens) and balsamic vinaigrette instead. Everything was good and that flatbread on top was amazing as well. I'm not sure what that extra thing was that they added but it went with everything. I love the artichokes on there because it added extra veggies and a lot of texture. Everything was in good amount - and quite a big serving size - and I really really enjoyed this salad! Fiance got the Thai Chicken Salad with chicken and he loved it. It was a very different flavor from mine but good of its own. He left it as well and finished it super quick! For the pizza, we asked for a custom one which was kind of inspired by the Bianco Verde. Ricotta cream, fresh mozzarella, red onion, arugula, parmesan, Pepperonata. First they forgot to put the arugula on there. The server also said she would get us chili flakes on the side but those never came until we asked for them 5 minutes later. Fiance really really love the pizza but I did not. It was because of the Pepperonata. It tasted like tomatoes and red peppers on the pizza and I'm not a fan of that. I tried to take them all off but they were too many so I ended up having only bits which didn't have the Pepperonata on it. Overall a good place for good pizza though I would say. read more
